Leonardos Pizza And Kebab in Gateshead

First time trying and it was honestly such an expensive disappointment chips were stale and cold pizza was beyond basic I got a hot shot there was nothing spicy about it

I do not give bad reviews lightly or often but.... Donner kebab not fresh went in the bin some of the meat was hot and some cold not nice won't get another was a waste of money sorry I can't recommend ☹️ staff seemed a little bit strange 😕 don't get that?????

Me and my boyfriend got cheesy chips from here mine tasted really disgusting and made me throw up and his had onions in it which they aren’t supposed to it’s not normally like this so idk why this was the case this time

The only takeaway in the area we use, first class service every time, always order online and ready by the time I'm in the car and there. Great staff.

I've been a regular customer of Leonardos for some time now, but unfortunately, I've encountered a recurring issue that's been quite frustrating. It concerns the consistent omission of dips from my orders. On several occasions, I've placed orders that included dips, and when the delivery arrives, the dips are nowhere to be found. I've made it a point to immediately notify the delivery driver about the missing items, hoping for a quick resolution. The driver typically contacts the shop to report the issue, and I've been assured that the missing dips would be sent with the next driver. However, what's disheartening is that this promised resolution never materializes. The next time I place an order and request the missing dips from a previous order, they are, yet again, not included. It's an unfortunate cycle that seems to repeat itself, leaving me with an incomplete meal experience. As a loyal customer, I value the convenience and quality of Leonardos offerings, but this consistent oversight regarding the dips has been a source of frustration. I believe that a great customer experience includes timely and reliable service, which, in my experience, has been lacking in this regard. I kindly request that Leonardos addresses this issue promptly to ensure that all orders are fulfilled as expected. It would greatly enhance the overall customer experience and maintain the trust and loyalty of its patrons. I hope my feedback is taken constructively.

Been using Leonardo’s for many years and don’t get me wrong there has been ups and downs, the last few month everything we have ordered has been delicious, hot and the delivery service is the best around! We have also started using the Leonardo’s app Saving us money rather than using Just eat and doing it this way we normally end up with a free item which means it brings the cost down a little further. A couple of weeks back a large bottle of pop was missed off but it was the last order of the night so we couldn’t get in touch with the shop, I contacted them the next day and without any argument they added the pop to our next order.

Having been a customer for the last 20 years I have to say how disappointing it is that I have to write this review. Considering we are in a cost of living crisis as are the restaurant's that serve us, I still find it hard to accept a meal (chicken kebab) can cost £10. This is where my problem is with this review. If you charge a premium price for food then you have to make sure it is good. Chicken kebab salad and a couple of sauces with a small tip almost £20. The chicken was not hot so resulted in it being very dry, the garlic sauce was nothing short of terrible. The worst thing is me and my partner took a chance tonight rather than getting a Chinese or Indian and guess what..... The difference is a million miles away.... Only OK for pizza....

Salty, tasty pizza which is a good treat - I wouldn't want it too often. Our favourite is the 4 seasons which isn't actually divided into 4 but has a great selection of toppings and they're always willing to swap out onions for a generous amount of olives to suit us.

We have just had a couple of wraps delivered. Food arrived quickly and was delicious. We both enjoyed a tasty, hot delicious takeaway. Thank you! You are our go to takeaway!

Normally quick delivery and lovely food tonight took over an hour for a 12 inch pepperoni pizza and was stone cold waste of money

Used to be regular customer. Not anymore. Last few orderes have arrived cold and late. Same again tonight stone cold pizza and soggy wedges. Never again. Update tried again and order wrong 3 times in a row however the free hair in the pizza was delightful

We placed a large order for collection as we are out of their delivery area, and unfortunately one of the pizza's was incorrect. We called them to note the error and they not only replaced the pizza, but they delivered it to us even though they normally do not deliver to our area. Food was very fresh and tasty. Customer service spot on and food tasty.

I haven't ordered from them in years but a few friends have said they were worth try, I just got a chicken Kebab which was so dry I could eat it (dog enjoyed it) the Pita bread was rock hard and chips were cold. Not sure how this was possible as I ordered it 15 mins after opening. It's not acceptable!!

Mixed kebab two small bits of chicken normal kebab amount 1 pitta bread after been told 2 and 2 bits of steak for £11.50 what a let down and I go to this shop regular .

Bought a kebab £7.10 meat as thick as shoe leather no taste salad covered in vinegar shredded in a plastic box ..first and last time

Would have given 5 stars but I specifically leave a note for driver to shut the gate everytime I order and he always leaves gate wide open and It hits the car with the wind really annoying..

Chips and wedges raw inside, undercooked and not edible. I though it would be impossible to get something so simple so wrong!

Strange chicken kebab, bare pitta with a week's worth of BBq chicken pieces inside... Bit less quantity bit more attention to quality would be good... found the staff a bit standoffish & rude - tried to change my order because I wanted chill and garlic instead of one or the other? strange vibe, would probably avoid unless you've been in the conveniently located pub next door and can't be bothered to go further afield.

Ordered from here a few times now. Pizzas are some of the best I've had. Delivery is always extremely quick and service on phone and delivery drivers are very polite. Would recommend to anyone. :)

Not as nice as it used to be, chicken kebab had a strange taste

Up until a couple of weeks ago this takeaway was spot on. Delicious pizza's with plenty of toppings. Since they put their prices up I have used them twice and both times the pizza quality was inferior to usual. I always get some sort of chicken pizza, which used to be quite large chunks..... now they are *tiny* and very small amount. Not particularly happy to be honest. I don't appreciate being charged more for less. Will be looking around for a new pizza takeaway I think.

First time ordering at Leonardo's and within 5 minutes of ending the phone call after placing our order we received a phone call back. Our food could not be delivered as they were too busy so we had to order elsewhere. I would NOT order from here again.
