Very tired and dated inside, the photos on the website do not reflect the room I was in. £125 a night is vastly overpriced for the quality of the room, especially compared to some of the nearby hotels. At that price I would at least expect a bottle of water, or a couple of biscuits, in the room. The TV has the option to cast media, but this doesn't work as the TV isn't connected to the Internet. This leaves you with nothing but freeview channels.

Stayed here for a night out in Leeds. Greeted with bottle of bubbly from the bar to get us going, which was very nice. There’s a little Sainsbury’s downstairs we got some supplies from too. On our way out, the front desk waved us out, asking if we needed a cab, but it’s less than a ten minute walk to the pubs and clubs so we declined. On our way back in (slightly wobbly), they were very accommodating when we couldn’t find our key card, and happily printed us a new one. Great night’s sleep on the comfy beds (which were comfy /before/ the alcohol by the way). In the morning, breakfast was smashed with hot food and continental options on offer with plenty of pastry choices and a coffee machine that personally resurrected me. Naff that check out is 10, but that seems pretty standard nowadays.

The hotel dates and tired looking, definitely needs refurbishment and redecorating. The staff are amazing and very helpful and professional. The first night I found there was mold around the bathtub and sink so talked to the reception and they gave me a different room which might have been an upgraded room as the carpets were new and the room didn't look as tired. The location is great and a 10 minute walk into central Leeds, and also a similar length walk to the shopping area that has Next outlet and other stores. There is payable parking on the street which is affordable.

Desperately disappointing. Hugely overpriced, and the smallest room I have ever stayed in anywhere. The carpet was torn, the bathroom skirting was filthy and the shower did not work. Breakfast for two would have been £32, 2 burgers would have been £36. The curtains did not draw, one of the bedside lights was broken and one socket did not work. This is not a four star hotel by any stretch of the imagination or designation. Just awful beyond description

Very close to the Minster and Downtown. Within walking distance but quiet and out of the way at the same time. Great service, clean, and nice courtyard next door.

Not bad but not great either. The room was clean but there was no mini fridge at all. Hopefully this isn't a common occurrence but unfortunately a pipe burst in the bar area in the ground floor making it unsafe to use thr lifts for a while. Thankfully nobody seemed to have been hurt or caused any more safety concerns. The fire alarm did briefly ring a couple of times after we went back to our room but the staff assured us no evacuation was necessary at the time.

No parking at the hotel, 20 min loading area- don't over extend this . Nearest car park is a 12 minute walk from the hotel, Watch out for the 1 way system - look out for the signs don't rely on Google maps as the route has changed. A gym 🏋️♂️ is on thev1st floor, big reception & bar area

I did not stay here, but my daughter did. She was very happy with the hotel, her room, bathroom and she said the breakfast was fantastic. She really enjoyed her stay. She went for a work conference. There is so much to see and do nearby. I think she would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice room, compact, but it feels spacious, the room had a hair dryer, iron with ironing board. The room also had plenty of towels, tea and coffee facilities and plenty of hangers. Breakfast had a nice variety of hot and cold food. The hotel was very clean and the staff were really friendly.

Honestly the best customer service I've ever received, the gents on reception this evening were incredibly helpful. Aided me getting some heavy stuff out of the car, made a long day much easier and was greatly appreciated. Could not have asked for more. Truly wonderful staff.

Leonardo's has a different feel to other hotels. As soon as you walk into the large reception area, there is a feeling that you are the most important person / people there. The friendly, smiling greeting from the attentive reception staff makes you feel special from the first moment. The executive room was spacious, with a huge kingsize bed & smart t.v. The best nights sleep I've ever had in a hotel. The complimentary chocolate & soft drinks in the fridge were a nice touch. Coffee machine, kettle & iron. An 8 minute walk from Leeds bus station & a 12-15 minute walk from the railway station. Sainsbury's local, yum yum's cafe & 212 cafe & bar are all on the doorstep. Salt Granary Wharf is a 2 minute walk over the river. There's various bars, clubs & restaurants within a 10 minute walk as well as the Trinity centre. Leeds direct arena a 15-20 minute walk away. Leonardo's is in an ideal location.

The best part of the experience were the staffs. The receptionists (Eroms, Annabel, Levi) and the male bartender (don’t know his name), were the kindest and most lovely people. The location is great, just a few minutes walk to most attractions in the city and there’s a pub and a supermarket just outside the hotel. The rooms were also nice, simple, and spacious. I’ll definitely visit again 100%

Discusting services. Worsed hotel in the whole of the UK. Never been to a hotel worse. People won't pick up the phone. Offer an early check in they can't hold themselves to. I like staying at leonardo hotels. But this one is one I'll never ever come back to.

Location was really good , hotel was really accommodating letting us park in their car park. Rooms were a little dated and could do with a bit of an upgrade, rooms could do with sockets next to beds and bathroom updating. There was a good choice of hot drinks and biscuits in the room. Price very reasonable.

The location is good. 15 mins walk from National Express Coach Station and 10 mins walk from the Train Station. Grocery 1 min walk and coffee shop right around the corner. It is a big hotel, with good rooms. I was disappointed with the bathroom quality. They gave us a disabled room, we assumed it was because the hotel was full, with very bad bathroom quality. Rust and black mold or some kind of sediment...it was really not up to a 4* hotel standard. They have otherwise a lot of small little marketing things in the room, like a postcard if anyone wants to send...I would have appreciated the hotel spending the money on a new shower set for the customers than all those useless prints from the room. But hopefully they will consider it in the future. If one gets a clean & decent bathroom, I believe it is worth it.

What a terrible hotel, badly run and seriously in need of revamp. Checked in room late at night key didn’t work, when I finally got into room no heating in the room, shower leaked as much water down the tiles as out the head which came of the wall in your hand. Changed room to 712 which has a bucket to catch drips from sprinkler system directly outside the room.. During the week in that room curtain and towel rail fell off. They don’t clean your room even when you put the sign on. Best thing about this hotel is the receptionists which I feel really sorry have to work in such a run down hotel.

Second stay here (booked via work) unfortunately won't be going back. Looks great on arrival but rooms tired, carpet in my room worn and torn and bathroom hadn't been properly cleaned for weeks. Also rudely interrupted by a security guard ŵhen saying goodnight to my daughter, really unnecessarily rude. I can't recommend this hotel and won't be staying again.

Room in a terrible state. Barely cleaned. Hair everywhere. Stains everywhere. Mattress had many broken springs and was not comfortable. There was tissue paper stuck to the door. The bath appears to be from 1980. The tv is tiny. I have no idea how this is a 4 star hotel. Arrived at the hotel at the pre arranged time and had to wait another two hours for the room to be ready. Was told after 1 hour it was cleaned but needed inspection. Not sure why inspection could not have been prioritised for the room when other guests came in after us and their rooms were ready. Even walk ins off the street got to their room before us. Another guest came was complaining about the state of their room so overall it does not appear to be a once off issue.

Always been a good pub but was quiet when I was there a few months ago. However this time it was packed and had great live music (ok, it was my band: I'm a bit biased!). Great selection of cask ales and friendly crowd.

I uses Ibis when I just need a basic clean comfortable 1-2 night stay in a city. But in this hotel, at least in my room, that standard has fallen. Shower was leaking, toilet seat was loose, curtains were dirty with stains, so was the kettle. It is just lack of care and attention.

Used to be lovely but new owners don’t have a clue. Whilst the food is okay, everything else has gone down hill. Menu wise I’d suggest you advertise a quiche as a quiche, not a tart. You don’t stand a chance of hearing your party, the acoustics are shocking. As for the clientele it’s full of screaming and I mean screaming brats. So if you fancied a nice relaxing lunch with friends, I’d suggest somewhere else because it won’t happen. And the owners don’t care, that’s the sad part. Perhaps you need to advertise that you are more of a crèche than an overpriced cafe.
