Really slow service and bad communication. Waiting ages for collection despite it being ready and ignored by server making coffees for people not even there.

Love ordering from this Leon. Dywain is really great, always so friendly!

Haven't learnt my lesson from 2 years ago with the fish finger wrap. That was so dry it stuck to the roof of my mouth. Today I foolishly bought a falafel wrap. The bread was as dry as a bone and the whole thing fell to bits when I attempted to pick it up. Never again

Good, but small. Size of the store usually not a problem, but during holiday periods, very difficult to find a seat, you may need to consider an easy to eat take out option!

Very poor. Two haloumi wraps but no actual haloumi. And cold. Avoid

Love burgers aren't as good as they used to be.

I've eaten at many other Leons and like the chain generally but this particular branch has rude staff who also served us stale fries. The seating also is better at other branches.

amazing service I received this morning around 10:50 AM at your store. There was a gentleman, I believe his name is Pedro (apologies if I got it wrong), who was incredibly warm and friendly. He had such great energy and really went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable.

These people are SO SLOW!! There’s always more than 2 of them behind the register and still they can’t figure out efficiency. My biggest problem is that they consistently FORGET MY ORDER!! in the last week alone they have forgotten it twice (and I’m a regular there so I don’t understand why they don’t clock this). I’m really fed up of being blamed by staff when my order (TO THE RIGHT LOCATION) is consistently bypassed.

I went because I wanted to eat. The taste of the food wasn't my taste, but I still enjoyed it. Above all, I remember the friendly staff.

Why does the music has to be so loud? Is this a club or a cafe/restaurant? Annoying.

Gluten free chicken nuggets were hot, real chicken and hot honey sauce was a little spicy.

Please sort out the smell?! You can be inside for no more than 5 minutes to pick up a takeaway order and come out smelling like old oil!! It just sticks to your clothes and hair Nothing worse than returning to the office and smelling like refried chips Not sure if this is an air con issue but it’s put me off going back for the foreseeable future That said, staff are always welcoming and friendly. In regards to the food you get what you pay for, it does the job, could definitely be better but I like that there are healthier options that aren’t too big where I’m tired after lunch

The food is delicious and it is an option to eat healthy in London, with rice and vegetables. They have a nuggets menu that is ideal for children and teenagers and more adults too. The nuggets are large and well made, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The potatoes are delicious and their shape surprises the children. The very friendly staff. The manager is Spanish and is most attentive and professional with clients and he behaved very well with us. He gave my children a cookie, which was delicious. The clean, comfortable and noise-free place allows you to eat quickly and relax during the meal.

Free switch out on my porridge as I accidently ordered dairy instead of vegan option. Great service, appreciated as a long standing customer

A friend offered last minute tickets to a west end show so needed to grab some food before the show. In an attempt to pick healthier but fast food, dropped into Leon on the Strand. It’s by no means my first time here but I haven’t been in this particular store since they started doing the self service screens and here started the problem: The screens are really close together, making it hard to communicate with anyone you might be with. It also doesn’t fill you full of confidence when it comes to paying. While the system is fairly simple to use & pretty it has major failures the biggest being dietary issues. There is no clear way or any way that I could find to declare dietary requirements or customise an item despite there being a customise option. It just lets you add things to your order. While I see that this reduces food waste as it’s made to order, the entire experience was painfully slow. Removing the whole reason I went in which was speed. I’ve grabbed whatever was available hundreds of times for ease and speed when I could just go to the counter and see what was already prepped to go. Companies do this all the time to reduce staffing costs, claiming it’s to speed up the customer experience and it’s the exact opposite. The staff there were lovely and very apologetic for wait times. I say the staff, there was 1 woman on the front and the rest in the kitchen. Food wise, the flat bread fell apart completely and the wraps get thinner and thinner. A regular go to sadly turned into a don’t bother.

Just ordered a chicken satay. £8. It’s a spoonful of chicken and a cup of dry rice. It covers half of the container. I showed it to the person serving me and the person that made the portion said “I’ve put the quantities we are instructed to”. I’m a member of Leon reward programme and the portions keep shrinking. The original ethic that gave birth to Leon is far gone. No value for money whatsoever. For the same price nearby you can have a naked burrito full of chicken and beans or even a burger. Would you pay £8 for the serving in the picture?

I’m in the office monthly and a visit to this Leon has become a part of my office days that I look forward to. I always order the Korean chicken wrap with halloumi … very yum! The manager Adu is always such a pleasure. Very polite, patient and helpful. Order always comes out quick too which is helpful when you have limited lunch time!

HOTBED OF THIEVES -- AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. My teenage son got his phone stolen off the table here by a woman pretending to be homeless. When he told the staff, they told him it happens there EVERY DAY, in which case, um, why aren't they doing anything about it??? And the staff made zero effort whatsoever to help a distressed kid report the theft, etc.

Dreadful experience yesterday. Online ordering took our money but did not process the order. No sympathy shown by the staff on site. They insisted that the order should be cancelled and we should re-oeder. Outcome: we paid twice. Have had to complain to their head office to get our refund which is still on going at the moment. Seems their IT department will be told about the problem! Not a good experience.

We love Leon's food. Home made taste, healthy food.

The manager and staff were amazing. So helpful and friendly as it was raining so much and I lost my wallet. They supported me whilst I sorted my situation out. Thank you.

The music played in this establishment is extremely loud (over 85dB) which can cause immediate harm to the ears. Food is great.

Awesome bunch of staff. In the times that I have been coming here for mocha and occasional lunch, I have always been met by a friendly, smiling staff.

Extremely slow service, avoid if you're in a rush. Staff quite poor in terms of quick service, seemed overwhelmed by a store that in truth wasn't very busy.

Samil, Valentina and Rihab are super friendly with exceptional service!

It is still fastfood, but IMO better than the others. Portions are not too big, especially for men ;)

Okay experience, the food was nice but not much of it considering the cost. Coffee was fine but not anything to write home about and took a while to make. It was a bit busy hut that's not their fault it just is a bit much for me. The machines you order from were almost all broken as well so there was a queue for the two machines that worked, which should not have been the case. They seemed understaffed for being in such a busy footfall location, so when people were leaving the tables weren't really being cleaned - we were able to borrow a cloth to wipe it down ourselves, however. I sound super complainy, but a lot of these things kind of make sense / weren't huge problems - just a middling experience.

Lovely place to eat in. Since the moment I came in Kimberly had a smile on her face and served me with great attitude. The ambient is also nice and vivid. Perfect place for me to work with my laptop since its not massively crowded with customers.

Food not as good as I expected for the price I have paid. The staff was great even though was playing on their phone when not serving customers and who knows where else they were using that phone. The place is slightly run down - tables are falling apart, the walls are scratched and the internal design is slightly strange. Will I go back? Not to that one and only to check burgers maybe.

I've tried to buy a breakfast here twice and left empty handed on both occasions. The touch screen terminals for ordering don't work so I don't understand how they ever sell any products.

Perfect English breakfast and not too expensive. We took our breakfast there many times during our stay in London. Highly recommend

We visited in July on the way to see The Lion King. We’d allowed 25 mins for food and thought it shouldn’t be a problem. After 20 mins I approached the sever to advise that if it didn’t arrive in the next 5 mins, we’d need a refund and to cancel the order. At this point, we were provided with most of the meal, which had been sitting out for some time and had gone cold. I was advised the rest would follow. 5 mins later I approached the server for the rest of the meal. I was told they couldn’t provide the rest of the order, but they would refund the meal. The rest of the mean was immediately refunded.

Komal who served me was so kind and lovely! Can’t wait to come back. Her customer service was excellent and so friendly! Make such a big difference when you’re rushing out for lunch!

Leon has had a new owner for a couple of years and as usual cost cutting is the objective - so profit wins and quality goes out the window. I visited The Strand branch yesterday, the Rice dishes used to include a good salad portion, now it’s another few pounds for a miserly side salad, the garlic dressing is vile, glupey tasteless stuff, the chicken was more fat than meat. Selling small companies to multinationals never works and it’s the consumer who always loses out. Such a pity as this used to be the only ‘fast food’ place I would go.

Decent food options, quick and good prices. Nothing to write home about, but easy. Kids were impressed with the chocolate chip cookies.

Leon is a brilliant place to get a quick bite.

Schneller und freundlicher Service, Essen war hier aber meistens nicht so gut (Burger trocken und fad), Vegetarische Meatballs auch eher trocken.

I have had the Leon app for over a year and up until I came to this Leon had never been able to get it to work. I had ordered their veggie burger, salad and chicken nuggets. The counter staff did not know how to add the rewards from my meal to the app. and called for the supervisor to help. How amazing was this man. He reverse engineered the order to add the points to my app and showed me how to use the app in future. I feel really bad for not getting his name as he was so helpful and patient in dealing with me. A real credit to the Leon brand.

For a fast food joint they have a lot of good vegetarian options

The store does not open on time. The team started their briefing at 7am sat in restaurant, with no sense of needing to open up to customers. The branch down the road at Waterloo bridge was completely different.

Amazing and very kind staff and great porridge.
