Oh my god what a place its beautiful inside and the food is amazing and not to dear unfortunately I didn’t find a toilet and they have no bins but the staff clean up pretty well and they answer any questions if you ask them and they never rush you when ordering I would recommend this place to anyone food was hot and tasty thank you for my first experience kind regards

delicious! ! There is a similar restaurant at Paddington Station, which was also delicious, but the food here was the best. By the way, the design of the bag that holds the croissants is also cute. The staff are very kind and kind. The smoothie was also delicious so I recommend it. You can see the train on the platform from the shop window.

Long wait, fries were cold, which they changed but were no better.

I always enjoy Leon. The Kings Cross branch has become a bit haphazard these days. But I still like their food.

I had the fish finger wrap which was delish! Had lots of fish in it and was super tasty - it tasted "fresh" (I think this may have been the dill) really yummy. They are also clearly on it with allergens as the staff showed me an allergen sheet without me even asking! That was very helpful 💜

Amazing food, incredibly friendly and fast service -impeccable- and clean; definitely will be my go to restaurant at Kings Cross from now on!

Seriously upset by paying almost £27 for a Cold and stale burger and fries from King’s Cross station this evening. Does your company think it’s ok to serve stale fast food at an astronomical fee? I could have got a McDonald cheaper and warmer and a lot less old! Really disappointed, if it had have been a sit down meal I would have refused to pay! Really not ok!

Virtually never have diet drinks so I have stopped going. Slow chaotic service. Shame as I like Leon but this is not a good one the only one I have been to that is worse is at the channel tunnel.

Always a little bit of extra frisson here ordering with a small window before my train leaves ... but have yet to have an issue. The app is a game-changer BUT all the pre-orders were stacking up on my last visit and it really wasn't clear whose orders were being called out. I've experienced an ordering kiosk melt down in another branch at breakfast (I went to McDonalds) ... I know Leon (& their EGGroup owners) are smart enough to fix this tech, so please get on it!

Had a crispy chicken wrap, was served in a foil wrapper. Not freshly made, chicken was soggy. The whole wrap was cold. Also had a festive coffee which was very nice

Sub-par food, service without a smile

Food was ok but what makes this place a 5 star is the staff. The staff members seemed genuinely happy to serve me, creating a welcoming atmosphere that instantly put me at ease. Their enthusiasm and fun approach was infectious, and it made the entire dining experience more enjoyable. Thanks guys,you rock!

Il posticino in sé è carino. E il cibo è arrivato abbastanza velocemente , ma il ragazzo che mi ha servito non mi ha neanche salutata , solo un cenno del capo . Ma la cosa più assurdo è che per ogni tavolo c’erano le consumazioni dei clienti abbandonate lì, questo perché apparentemente un membro dello staff se ne sarebbe occupato, poiché non c’era dove buttare la spazzatura. Ma vedere quello scenario e alcuni del team liberi non occuparsene è sembrato un po’ bruttino .

A classic pre-train food grab, but somewhat marred today by the person serving me telling me I looked tired when I asked for a receipt. Not the best customer service I’ve seen lately, put it that way.

Tasty food, great to be able to have choice as gluten free and vegan! All allergens were clearly displayed too which is so rare.

Hungry but travel anxious? Well I like Leon and this one at Kings Cross is great as it is under a huge departure board so you can get something decent to eat and be less stressed. I always arrive to stations in plenty of time but don't like to stray away too far from a departure board just incase of any changes... you can get quite hungry staring at the board so this Leon is a great location.

Incredibly fast service for a Monday morning, very well done to Leon. Delicious food as always.

Food at that Leon location is really not what it used to be. Or maybe I changed? Didn't particularly enjoy the halloumi breakfast box. Halloumi was a bit hard. No bins there so you end up leaving stuff on the tables.

Nice place for brunch. I had the chicken satay rice box which was nice but not amazing. Nice seating area but there were some empty food packets on most tables so needed a clean up. Good place for fast food.

I love the vegan love burgers. Delicious, but put off by the very rude staff. Would someone please tell the small "shouty" woman that no matter how loud she shouts from behind the counter we still can't hear her!! Honestly the staff seemed annoyed and came across as very rude.

Could not eat the burger. On reading the small print, it contains chipotle chilli powder, and I can't eat chilli. But that was not mentioned on the menu. Won't visit Leon again!

I like the LEON menus, that's what draws me back, but this is the second time I've had a poor experience in the past few months. I'm not sure if they are under staffed or inexperienced but the service was haphazard. People that had pre-ordered waiting around wondering where their food was. Food requests shouted through to the kitchen. I don't blame the individuals, it just feels like the setup is not effective. I was given the wrong burger and had to go and swap it, where I was met with a quizzical look. The burger was pretty nice but the fries were luke warm and limp.

Delicious and healthy fast food with friendly staff.

I ordered a chili chicken and have gotten some rice with chicken, joghurt (?), and pomegranate topping. See picture. Even though I complained the staff told me that was it. They didn't offer something else. I couldn't eat this and had to throw it away. My wife had another box and categorized it as "eadible" (=terrible).

Updated: usually very good quick service but disappointed today. Ordered ahead in the app as was in a rush, and ended up waiting 15 minutes after the time the order was set to be ready for. Many customers in the same situation waiting long for food. When I eventually received the food the wrap was haphazardly made and fell apart all over me. For someone who normally loves Leon I am very disappointed.

The best bit about this place is the price. They are affordable and clean healthy eating. I really rate this place. For fast, filling nutritious bite to set yourself up for a tour round the capital or the journey home. Head here. Go out the back and chill. You would never believe you were at Kings Cross. Ok they don’t have bins but just put everything in the bag and they soon clear it up. I recommend the chicken mezze.

Best place to get evening food in Kings Cross imo. Really really tasty, incredibly fast and accurate service and plentiful seating. Feels much healthier than other places and although a little more expensive, doesn't break the bank. Would highly recommend LEON!

30mins to wait for my order as they forgot it, multiple people served before me. Staff visibly annoyed to be there and messing about having a laugh. Seemed to be annoyed and frustrated at the customers, shouting at people if they were ready to order. What a bizarre experience.

No meal deal, a coffee and a muffin was over £7! Not the usual experience, way too expensive so cancelled the muffin but the coffee is still more expensive than other Leon branches. Stupid idea coming here

Cold soggy chips, no bins for rubbish so it builds up until staff have time to clear it and the back was closed off - is Leon struggling? The fresh orange was lovely but the place now just looks dingy and tables are sticky. Yuck!

Ordered a Caribbean curry that looked colourful and lovely in the photo with big chunks of pumpkin, chunky pieces of chicken and jalapeno. What I received was a tiny portion of grey food. It was almost entirely made up of rice and sauce with tiny broken up bits of pumpkin and tiny shreds of chicken and nothing else. It was completely bland. Have not eaten in Leon before so cannot say if this typical but will never return to a Leon again. Wished I had gone to Pret instead. Only thing that led me to Leon was the idea of something hot and slightly more fulfilling.

Really amazing food- even for veggies! Good prices and really quick efficient services. Great smiling staff on the front too!

Often passing thru Kings Cross on way back up North. Leon fare is always fresh tasty REAL food and the service guys are very friendly and do an excellent job.

Great service, great food and space to sit down and see the departure board

Disappointed with the food, I had high hopes as I love Leon but when here three weeks ago was given a tepid beetroot latte then had a halloumi breakfast box which was £5.99 when spending that much would expect better. Anaemic halloumi, was shown in the picture to be nicely browned. It was all barely warm either, eggs were perfectly cooked and the tomatoey beans were flavouful and liked the green stuff but halloumi and portion size really let it down.

Good food but don't sleep on their coffee. Better than Pret or Costa. Not as quick on the service but levels better on the coffee.

Fast service although we didn’t find the coffees to be very hot. Would be nice to have iced drinks as an option too.

Good location in Kings Cross if you have an early morning train. Quick service as it's usually less busy then the other locations in the area.

Glad I spotted this.. really wasn't up for dirty burgers next door.. Vegan Masala was great. Service was super fast. Buut perhaps too fast... the waffle fries were only half cooked... not great. Sadly I'm on a train so wasn't able to go back n tell them directly, hence this...

Leon has always had good food and swift service. I understand that working in fast food is a lot of pressure, especially in a place as busy as King's Cross, I understand that staff may be abrupt but there's a difference between being abrupt and being rude. The woman who was in charge of the coffee was awful, I waited 20 minutes for my coffee, standing nearby the entire time, and when I went up to her to inquire about my coffee, she said "you waited 20 minutes? Well I made the coffee and binned it 20 minutes ago." I was standing there the entire time to collect my order, I heard her shouting other coffee orders, I heard her laughing with her colleagues, and I heard her talking to a customer and telling them about her upcoming holiday to Italy, how it was her first time, and how she was going to visit the Vatican. I heard all that and not once did I hear my coffee order. She eventually did remake my order for me but scoffed and rolled her eyes when I went to collect it. I noticed she treats other customers like this and I was not the only one who was waiting for their "binned coffee". At least the food was good.

I'm new in the country, visiting from Au. I quickly popped in for what I thought was a burger bar. I couldn't order beef, only plant based or chicken... well chicken (unless they are free range) I ordered the vegan burger and chips/fries and they were soggy. Over 9 pounds. Not worth it and still hungry.

Decent service, excellent food and coffee. The chorizo and egg muffin was ready as soon as it had been ordered and the coffee was perfect. Will visit again whenever i am back in london.

Whether we were just lucky but easily got a table. The staff were friendly and the tables were being cleared - as this is a station concourse there are no bins(security issue). We all had the banana & cinnamon porridge which was delicious and piping hot.

Had the avocado and halloumi muffin which was tasty. The staff were a let down however. The one serving looked confused by every word I said, and her colleague was barking numbers at people waiting. Incredibly bad manners for someone working in the service industry.

It’s so so good! I got the satay chicken rice box and it was delicious! I also got the baked waffle fries and they’re so good! aside from that I tried the pink iced latte, I give it a 9,5/10 it’s really good but I don’t really like beetroot even if it only tastes a little bit like beetroot. The price is okay kinda like McDonald’s prices but the food is way healthier. Really nice place would absolutely recommended!

Popped in here for lunch while waiting for my train. It soon became clear why this was the only eatery in the station with available seating. The customer dining area was grubby and dated. The seats turn and shabby. The chicken burger was tepid and the fries/waffles stone cold. Not a pleasant experience. Won’t be returning

Nice food but not the cleanest of places.

The vegetarian burger was small, tasteless, overpriced. Even if freshly cooked, for me it felt and tasted like a pre-cooked, re-heated bun with a bland vegetarian patty. Did not enjoy it at all. Also the porridge was bland. The tables were also dirty. Would not return.

Can't go wrong with a Leon especially in a rush to catch a train. First time having the lentil masala, and it was excellent.

Average food but terrible service. No smile from the staff. Quite rude and abrupt. We got the impression we were interrupting their day. For such a busy station with lots of competition you would think customer service would be at the top of the agenda. Unfortunately this wasn’t the case and we won’t be returning. My husband has been here before and his comments were “it used to be great but has gone down hill”

Tried the vegan options. Had some Brazilian Black Beans with rice - Delicious. Had the Vegan Burger & Fries - YUM. Having some raspberry pastries to finish it off and they are amazing. Thank you to the kind staff and the animal friendly options that are nut free and tasty! Brilliant.

My go-to dish that never disappointed is the chilli chicken with a side of chips. This one inside Kings Cross Station offers fast service too.

Visited for a quick bite and the whole place felt dirty and sticky. I’m really not sure why I ordered anything. The food was pretty average and to be frank I was pleased that I didn’t get sick. Giving 2 stars was probably me being nice.

This was our first ever visit to a Leon and it’s something a bit different to just a sandwich at lunchtime. The Festive Mezze Salad was good but we also fancied something hot so ordered the Satay Chicken Box. Didn’t have to wait long to...

Staff are horrible and rude too busy talking to each other to answer simple questions, avoid if you are here

Extremely rude staff ridiculed us for paying cash , it was an effort to serve us as they were busy talking amongst themselves about another staff member phoning in sick

Chicken nuggets were horrible but we needed food before we got on the train… ended up with food poisoning on a 6+ hour journey to Scotland. Worst experience in my life would recommend skipping over this place

Nice staff despite the food which is a marketing BS. Naturally fast food ? What does that mean? If it's a green spin then first reduce your packaging and second, serve better food such that you don't feel like going round the corner to mc...

Food is great (breakfast), but coffee... Guys, nor clean your machines, nor check your Milk condition(felt like out of date), as 2 Flat Whites was absolute rubish in this place.

Unethical establishment who uses young people for free labour. My family member was asked to complete a late night trial shift for which they did unpaid food prep work for over 6 hours. It’s fine if they didn’t get the job but Leon didn’t bother even contacting them again to let them know and didn’t compensate them or even thank them for the time they spent. Very disgusting abuse of young people looking for their first jobs. Awful! Be warned if they offer you a trial shift!!!
