Went in for a drink and Discovered it was Karoke night, (Thursday), also cheaper drinks. Some great voices.

Thursday night karaoke 'wow ' what an atmosphere , go ahead and pop in you will not be disappointed, plus all drinks 20% discount, what's not to like .

I love the Karaoke night. I will go there every Thursday.

Attended a lovely event here, staff were happy to help and nothing was to much trouble

We stopped in for gins before heading to the train station for the trip back to Bristol. This is a big place. I can see it getting very busy in the evenings.

Didn't stop for food, just the band. Was busy, but large enough to accommodate

Not eaten here but love it for the atmosphere, playing pool etc. Friendly staff too.

Went to watch the game, stayed for the food. Very well priced drinks, well set up for watching sports with multiple TVs that can show different channels. Food was excellent, well priced and cooked to order, watched the onions be brought in for our onion rings which were superb.

We didn't have food. Just a drink. Love this place. Really clean and friendly. The juke box was playing fab music. We couldn't stay because we had to get the train home. But we will definitely go here again.

Great pub, weekly meat raffle, pub quiz. 2 pool tables, 1 that's payable by card tap. Real ale gravity fed on the bar. Changes guest ale weekly. And only £4 a pint currently (April 2023)

Great little pub,cosy looking from outside.Sports tv on for all,football or horse racing for us on a Saturday pm.Great prices. Some good music playing in the background. Only reason we left as we needed some food.Perhaps some rolls behind the bar.

Very good lunch I especially enjoyed the veg, very friendly and helpful staff and a lovely bottle of wine. Fairly difficult access with lots of stairs up to the restaurant which would stop me going again Im afraid.

A beautiful building with rustic charm. Old beams and nice decor. The carvery was lovely. A choice of 3 plate sizes. Vegetarian options available. The staff are very friendly. Will definitely be going again.

Really friendly, polite staff. Food wasn't the best but was really good for the price (£7.99 for medium plate) had a pint of Thatcher gold, it was really foamy which I have never seen before not sure if watered down or was a one off issue. But will be going again as overall was a nice place for Sunday lunch.

Lovely meal and reasonably priced

Went at six o'clock Sunday evening every one friendly and helpful. They were very busy having to turn people away but sat me down in the bar which I was happy with. But I think they were struggling to cope as carvery was a mess and out of most veg. On saying that I will be more than happy to go back when they are on top of things

Spent a lovely evening, with very friendly and helpful staff. My only complaint,is that the coffee machine is not available after 9.30. Never the less will certainly visit again.as my friends had a great meal at excellent prices.

I only had a drink downstairs. Restaurant for carvery is upstairs. There is no lift or stair lift but I am sure if someone needed to eat downstairs, then this would be facilitated.

Excellent service for our family meal on Sunday. Our waitress was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Carvery was very tasty with plenty of choice would recommend.

Carvery is Gert lush, best one had in ages, in fact has to be up there in the top ones ever. Staff are friendly with a couple of outstanding members. Only potential issue is the stairs to the upstairs restaurant area and the initial steps to the entrance these may present some problems for less mobile people. Highly recommend

Very good service, food was good but could have been warmer. Will definitely go again for good well priced carvery.

Staff were very attentive and pleasant, the carvery was excellent value for money for me vegetables could have been hotter but that's because I like my dinner very hot. Altogether a very good experience and will be recommending it. Good luck in the new venture.

Lovely place, staff really friendly and nice relaxing atmosphere

Great refurbishment of an old business. Specialising in all day carvery 7 days a week with take away also. Reasonable prices across the board. Only opened recently but have no doubt will be very popular with locals shortly. Independent owned business so not tied to large chain plastic menus and attitudes. Love the place - definitely will be back.
