Legacy in Sunderland

What an absolute dive, stinks of the toilet as soon as you walk in. The men's toilet floor was covered in "water" hopefully! Bar staff were lovely but the place Is disgusting. Will not be going back any time soon.

If you're from Sunderland and of a certain age you'll remember when this bar was called 'PURE' and had all those bands on both floors and atmosphere etc. (lets not get hooked on nostalgia or anything). This place has had plenty of people take it over, change it around and even try and serve food here but now It's a boozer enough said really. It's not a bad pub for a couple if nearby but it might need something to set it apart with all the competition in Sunderland.

Bad customer service. I went in to use bathroom with the intention of getting a drink after and some manky fella said "scuze me it's just for customers" - I shouted that I was going to get a drink after I'd been to the loo, which was true. So I ordered a Diet Pepsi which was warm and overpriced. While I was being served said manky bloke popped around the bar. It was absolutely disgusting. Never going again, was planning on going to rock night on Thursday but not now, no way I'm being to spoken to like muck.

called in here yesterday for something to eat,i got chicken strips and chips which were excellent,my friend got a meatball bagette,now she is very fussy but she loved it,we will go back again soon,Joe the chef is really nice

They were handing out 'free jagerbomb' vouchers. After buying a woo woo cocktail I received a 'free shot' of purple liquid, when asking what it was I was advised 'black currant and sambuca' after drinking this I realised I had drank a shot of black currant cordial!!! Horrid!! This is the 2nd week running they have tried to feed me A shot of cordial!!! To make things worse my woo woo was a glass of cranberry juice and a lime wedge! It's false advertisement and I now see why the place had no customers at 11pm on a Saturday night! I will NOT visiting again! Has gone downhill since taken over by 'new management' several months ago and I really like the old management With their cocktails and tasty food! Bye Legacy!!

I often visit legacy on a evening to have some of there lovely hand made daiquiri drinks. And when I learnt it was going to be serving food I finally decided to try it. And what can I say, Iwas exexpecting the usual pub food but I got a cheese burger that would have looked at home on master chef and actually tasted like beef! Will return agin and recommend this!

Came here for some food as they have just started serving food, looked at the menu and decided to have the fajitas ,when they came they were on a sizzling platter and the smell was lovely anyway decided to eat them,also liked how the guacamole,sour cream,and salsa were in little pots so you could put as much as you liked on the fajitas. Got to say one of the nicest fajitas I have tasted will defiantly be going back service was good price was good as well,and even the chef came down to see if everything was ok which I though was good all in all a great new place for food in sunderland well done legacy
