Lebanese Taverna Express in Hammersmith and Fulham

We seldom get takeaway, maybe a couple of times a month. i ordered a takeaway from The Lebanese Taverna last night and it was delicious. Arrived fresh, hot and the salad was cold and crisp. I have just ordered another takeaway from them tonight. I think that speaks for itself!

Food wasnt delivered charged anyway and refused to help do not order from this restaurant they will rip you off!

Shocking services, confusing, dirty and absolutely unprofessional. Poor quality of service, very expensive and more than an hour delay of food delivery.

Segunda visita a la taberna libanesa, después de casi dos años, y una vez más, una experiencia maravillosa.La primera vez, terminamos allí sin planear visitar. Esta vez, hemos planeado ir, ya que es extraño hacer un plan para ir al otro lado de Londres a comer en una tienda de comida rápida. Pero, sabiendo que la comida era tan buena como es, no fue un gran problema.Hummos y moutabal con pita criada fueron una excelente manera de comenzar algo, la berenjena moussaka y la bamia (okra) fueron deliciosos entrantes fríos, y continuamos con Lamb Shawarma, Kofta Halabiyeh y Shish Kebab, todos hechos de deliciosos platos de cordero. Un Mouhallabieh compartido para terminar la comida, y eso fue todo.El servicio es muy profesional, nos sentimos totalmente fuera de lugar, con mucha gente entrando y saliendo apresuradamente para recoger pedidos, pero muy bienvenidos y apreciados. Todo el personal es amable.La cantidad total pagada fue vergonzosamente baja, incluso después del 20% de propina bien merecida, y volveremos, probablemente no pronto, pero sin duda volveremos porque esta es una comida muy simple y muy sabrosa.

Mi amigo y yo decidimos probar este lugar para una comida rápida antes de ir al bar de música en vivo al lado. Nos quedamos muy impresionados con el personal y el servicio y la comida era deliciosa! Pollo tawouk y halloumi y felafel con ensalada. Las raciones eran grandes y nos tienen un baklava gratis al final. No venden alcohol, pero nos permitieron traer nuestro propio vino que compramos en el supermercado de al lado. ¡Muy recomendable!

So, we had an evening booking for a well known restaurant by the river, around the corner. And, it turned out that our concert at Hammersmith Apollo was not going to start till 21.00, making it impossible for us to have a dinner.

I invited my friends here the other day after a concert round the corner. As usual the guys delivered an excellent service even though it was very busy. My friends loved the food, the place and the service was good too.

My friend and I stopped in here at approx 10:30pm as we were looking for a late dinner.

As kebab shops go this is one of the worst I’ve been to. If your in town for a gig look elsewhere for your fast food!!

Noche de comida tarde después de un concierto en el Apollo Eventim. Alegre establecimiento. Sin lujos, pero sí un buen menú y servicio atento. Precios muy competitivos. Excelente porciones. Yo tenía un plato con pan plano Kofta de cordero, patatas fritas y ensalada. Mi esposa tenía un guiso de verduras con arroz, pan plano y ensalada. Me hubiera gustado una cerveza, pero no venden alcohol.

Yo trabajo a la vuelta de la esquina por casi 4 años y desde entonces nunca he dejado de ir a la Taberna para cenar. libanesa El personal es muy agradable, lo que crea una experiencia muy agradable cuando va allí, no sólo un gran tipo ciudad de lugar! La comida es increíble, mis favoritos son el pollo/carne Shawarma - Delicioso es realmente delicioso y fresco! Otro de mis favoritos es el Queso Halloumi envuelve verduras recién cortadas y queso es muy bonita. Sin duda uno de mis lugares favoritos en Londres!

He estado allí con unos amigos, un bonito lugar acogedor y limpio. Tenía la parrilla de mezcla y era muy agradable. Los precios de la comida son muy razonables para la zona y puede estar muy atareados con un buen ambiente, he ido a muchos restaurantes libaneses antes y este es uno de los mejores en términos de calidad, limpieza, amabilidad, ubicación y precio.

Really had a very bad experience. I will not even recommend this restaurant to my enemy. I arranged a staff party last month. prior to the booking, I spoke few times with the owner and staff. He promised me for quality meals with 15% discount. During the party we were twelve including a Lebanese girl (colleague). Food was very dry. We were told chilli sauce was finished. Limited salad on the plate. Basmati rice?? was given with Kebab. It was such a small place. We were ignored by the staff without serving for a while. Absolutely rubbish and never had a food like this. We were only expecting the quality of the food not the huge portion. After all, they charged us full and denied 15% discount. I was so shock and did not want to argue in front of my colleagues. The very next day, I found out some of my colleagues had food poison. They had stomach ache, vomiting and other symptoms. I went there to make a complaint but was ignored and said they can't do anything. This behaviour is unacceptable and decided this should be escalated. We have been to Ottoman, 193 Fulham Palace Rd, Hammersmith, London W6 8QX on several occasions and always had very good experience. I recommend people to go to Ottoman not to Lebanese Taverna. The prices on the menu is very expensive. I made the owner aware of this review. They are kind of people who don't care about customers. We are now telling every one not to go there. I hope, people who read this review will take it as serious and will not go there. Unfortunately, I had to give one star because there is no option for zero.

Men of a certain age. Progressive rock. Real ale. Kebabs. A perfect storm. Lebanese Taverna is situated rather too close to the former Hammersmith Odeon to avoid really, especially when a pre-gig drink requires some stomach lining.The new trend for kebab wraps was greeted with some derision by my companion but words were retracted when first bites taken as this was a grease free delicious meal-in-one. One of the best kebabs I've had (an I've had a few), perfect street food from a time before street food. Cooked fresh do one has to wait longer than is usual but worth the wait.

Went with a group of friends, understandably the food took a time to arrive, so did the drinks, some of them arrived after the food.The food was ok, maybe a bit dry, but ok for the price.I made the mistake of going to the toilet after the meal, the floor all through was absolutely dirty, when I came back up the stairs I could see the restaurant floor just as filthy and the bit of kitchen floor that I could see did not look much better! It turned my stomach and trust me, not many things turn my stomach!If I would have noticed the state of the floor from the begin, I would have walked right out, I am shocked they got a 5* food rating, perhaps the day of the inspection was the last time they cleaned!

We had a fabulous pre concert meal in this family run restaurant. Food was great, just like we had in Beirut. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean and well run. Try the fresh apple juice or the mixed dishes which we shared. Generous sized portions. The complimentary baklava we were given was amazing. Loved this meal

Webt on a Wednesday at about 10pm no queue , great service. Great kebab, toilets were very clean. Staff was very nice even though I was quite tipsy.

Essen sehr lecker. Man muss orientalische Gewürze natürlich mögen. Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam, Essen kam schnell. Nicht günstig aber für das Gebotene völlig in Ordnung. Wir kommen wieder.

Great food with reasonable price.. Portions were big enough for 3 people to enjoy both dinner and then lunch the next day! "Food good enough to travel all the way from Finland for! " said a friend of mine. The delivery was much quicker than expected too and the delivery guy Sam really nice and patient when we paid with cash.

Good price, very quick... 20 mins from ordering despite just eat App saying it would take 2 hours!! Good food, would order again, probably with out this app !!

The food didn't taste well. Chicken looked under cooked. Small portion of rice not enough for grown up. The mixed meat was very dry and burned.

We were really disappointed with the food that we ordered from you the other night. We are regulars and have been ordering from you at least once every 2 weeks for the last 6 months. We waited over an hour and a half for our meal to be delivered. After an hour I called to ask how long it would be and was told it should arrive any minute, but no we waited an other half hour. This time and the last time we have ordered the side salad has tastes bland and soggy. Did not taste fresh at all, possibly made a few days prior. The portion sizes have also become less. The positive was the Moutabal dip. Due to our last two orders we will not be ordering from you again. Shame that some restaurants take advantage of frequent customers. You would think they'd make extra effort for their loyal customers.

The rice was really bad, it was stale and tasteless absolutely no flavour. The wraps were really cold and really not that nice either.

This place has been making great authentic kebabs for ages. Cooked over coals. Three of us had shish today. Chicken for two of us and lamb for one. All very happy. Ate in. Great lunch. Will definitely keep going back.

I have waited two hours for my delivery after my first call, they informed me that the driver is on the way, when I called 20 minutes later - they told me that the driver disappeared with orders and I should cancel it. Horrible customer service - will never order food from this place again.

good food, excellent service and really great delivery driver Uma. It was our first order and they gave us free Baklava which was a lovely touch. Would have like more than 1 dolma with the meal deal as they were absolutely delicious! Will probably just order a separate portion of dolma next time. Thanks

Would give it a zero if i could..Ordered at 12.50am supposed to get delivery by 1.40 am .. i get a call at 1.30 saying they dont have the fresh juices that i have ordered fair enough so i have asked them if they can just refund my money for the drinks and deliver the food. So the guy on the phone said he can not do that its nothing to do with them i have to speak to just eat by this time just eat is closed and we are starving. So i was well upset l. I told him i did not want to write a bad review as i have more than 5 restaurants myself and i use just eat in all of them and we do not speak to our customers like that. And did not want to write this review. What i have asked them is to call just eat and ket them know that they did not deliver my food. First the guy was saying its my problem. Then i told him i will write a bad review if he doesnt get my refund. So he said he will. So i called just eat to check but he did not bother calling them. Worse chicken I have ever had. Tabouleh was tasteless and so was the rice. I could not eat it. I had to throw it away

We really enjoyed our food. Only things for us was that the chicken shish wrap was not closed on either end so it made it a little messy to eat. They could also do with adding a bit more sauce as we couldn't really taste the garlic sauce. Delivery time was as promised (even a bit faster - and impressive at 130am on a Friday!) the amount of food is great for the value. Overall though, it was really good and we will be ordering again (next time with a side of extra garlic sauce)

The wraps are very very bad for the money.. I love lamb Donna wraps! This was the worst I've ever had.

Precious few choices in delivered mixed Sharma locally but this is the best by far.

Salad in the wraps was all pickled and rank. Chips were soggy and the patata harra was somehow both overcooked and wet

This is easily the best spot in London. The chicken is amazing and the service really is something else. Not your average takeaway at all.

Lamb wrap was chewy and hard I had asked for Fanta and was given tango it's definetly not worth the money.

This place has some of the best Lebense food in London. No pretense just amazing food at surprisingly affordable prices.

Driver went to the wrong address twice... food arrived and was ice cold... rice was dry, bread was completely stale, potatoes were over cooked and tasted old, chicken was over spices and not tender at all the only saving grace was the kibbeh which was well cooked and tasty. Will NEVER order from here again
