Lazzolli in Rugby

Fabulous service. The team went above and beyond as always. It was my sons birthday, but he was asleep when the driver arrived. So he sang Happy Birthday to him and wished him a Happy Birthday through the ring door bell. My son, who is 5, absolutely loved it the following day. The food was also spot on! Best pizza I've had in a long time, if not ever and the cheesy chips was a huge portion. Great job everyone

We love this place and order regularly!! The kebabs are just amazing. A freshly baked pitta, tasty lamb and fresh crunchy salad. The homemade garlic sauce is also a winner. The delivery drivers are always so polite and chatty - I can’t fault anything!! Best kebabs in Rugby, we always order from Lazzolli!!

Lazzolli is one of the best takeaways in Rugby. Freshly made, tasty and much is made in store. Pita and wraps are freshly made. Chilli sauce is home made as are many of the sauces. Great fresh friendly well worth a visit

I met Ergul through my friend Danny at the Ryder Cup, who’d not seen him for some time and Danny insisted I try them for a Kebab….. sooo glad I listened to Danny! Food was amazing. Homemade wraps with the special Kebab. My son had the Donner and he’s normally very fussy but he finished the lot. You can sense the pride in the food, the cooking and the importance of providing a great service to their customers. If you’re reading this and aren’t sure whether to try it or not, do it. You will not be disappointed.

Errgl, the owner, is simply the best chef and a wonderful human being! We moved from Rugby area around 4 years ago and really missed our regular visits to Lazzoli! So we used to take our camper van an hour up the road to go and visit and park up nearby to eat the food whilst it was hot and fresh - delicious everytime. Errgl used to bring us out sweet treats for after our dinner too! What a legend! Then we moved further away to Scotland and missed it even more. (The things we would do for a Lazzoli some weekends!) Anyway, we tried our chances at seeing if Errgl would be up for catering for our wedding up in Scotland as we were so confident our friends and family would love the food! HE SAID YES! He really went above and beyond and everybody LOVED the food at our wedding!! Alison’s baklava is out of this world! So tasty! From the bottom of my heart Errgl, thank you so much for the effort you went to on our special day! We won’t forget it! Hope to bring the camper to visit you soon! The pizzas were amazing and the service was sensational. We were on the train after a day at the cricket in Manchester and there was no food on board. Lazzolli delivered pizzas to platform 4 at Rugby station so we could collect on the way through. What a legend! And such a nice man on the phone and in person. Cannot recommend him highly enough. Have been coming here since it opened. The food cad service is excellent and the Lazzolli mix kebab has some of the nicest donner I have ever tasted. All made fresh and cooked to order.

Have been meaning to leave a review for this place for many a month but have been seeing how consistancy runs. So here we go..... I am only reviewing their pizza as this is what we have been buying from here. The base is lush although I do prefer stonebase or thin but saying that, the base is never soggy which can ruin a pizza. Size wise they are not huge but a single 10" does us nicely with a bowl of chips. Toppings are most plenty and not skimpy. We do need to check out their other dishes. 5*

Would not go to any other kebab. The homemade pittas make such a difference. Meat is not greasy. Customer service if amazing. Mr Lazzolli came all the way back to our house when he realised he had forgotten our salad. We didn't call or complain before hand as we we4e not at all bothered aboutnthe salad missing. He even gave us free Baklava his wife makes as an apology. Definitely recommend this place.

This place is beyond amazing ❤️ we had lamb doner kebabs and an Adana kebab with fries, and all was perfect as always... I drive a 40-45 minute round trip for a lazolis kebab as nowhere else compares. Their sevice is also amazing and all so friendly...

Hubby and I got the chicken donner with the rice tonight, and after the last time I got it (which was perfection) I didn’t think it could get better.. but it was! Perfectly cooked chicken, soft bread, amazing rice, and fresh crisp salad. And garlic mayo! It is such good value for money and the owner is such a nice man to speak to on the phone and when you pick up. Rugby is definitely lucky to have this place!!

I called in an order for the chicken donner and rice earlier today, and had hubby pick it up. This meal was absolutely heaven sent!! The pita, the rice, the salad, and the star of the show was the chicken donner. The salad was fresh, crisp, and chilled. Perfection! The rice had the best flavour without being an overly spiced rice, and pita was a cloud of delicious amazingness!! I can not wait to have this meal again soon!! There are so many terrible takeaways in this town, but we are lucky to have Lazzolli’s!

Always a treat having food from Lazzolli. We especially love the vegetable calzone, pepperoni calzone, Mediterranean salad, pittas, cacik and pollo pesto bake.

The food from here is always excellent. I doubt you would find kebabs and pittas that are any better in quality, they are all fresh and made to order. Whether you visit or get a takeout, you get a fantastic service - this is a family run business who really care about what they do.

Absolutely and insanely delicious freshly cooked food. My first time ordering and we had the kebab feast. The best handmade pitta breads I’ve ever tasted and very authentic meats. Definitely a firm favourite from now, nothing was too much trouble. The pizza was stone baked and our kids loved it and the Pistachio Baklava was the perfect dessert. 10 out of 10

Absolutely wonderful food again ordering off the lazzolli app is so easy it even saves previous orders so you can just reorder the pitta breads are to die for good is always well cooked well presented and always hot even on a delivery staff are always friendly and cheerful and always helpful and recommend dishes if your not sure about them thanks to all at lazzollis

Still consistently excellent after all these years. You may need to be flexible with delivery at peak times but the kebabs are still the best in Rugby for me.

I live in Nashville, TN and my daughter and her husband live in Rugby, England. I wanted to do something very special for them and have a pizza delivered. I found Lazzoli's to be the best to work with. I emailed and Er responded and worked through the process with me since ordering online from my distance to his service was going to be difficult. We went through emailing each other instead and used the Paypal service for payment. Needless to say, my family received their pizza and were so excited by this surprise delivery. They were super excited with the great taste of Lazzoli's pizza. When I visit Rugby again, I will definitely drop in . I will predict that the service will be great just as it was from a long distance. Thanks Er! Donna

We had the lamb kofte - it was amazing! Every time I’ve had food from Lazzoli it’s been consistently good, I’ve never had a bad meal from there. Would 100% recommend to anyone!

The wife just brought me a pizza from Rugby, over 80 miles away! It was half baked so it stayed fresh and I must say it was on point, great toppings and ingredients, the chicken gyros was out of this world! Thoroughly recommend to anyone, 10/10! I am really sorry to say this, but months ago I would have given a 5 star rating, but in the last few months the quality of the food has gone downhill, we have had a few poor quality meals recently but the latest was the worst, we gave them the benefit of doubt in case we were just unlucky, but after cold recoooked chips and lukewarm food, I think it’s time to call it a day with lazolli, the burgers used to have a nice flame grilled taste now just a lump of greasy poor quality meat, please improve, I would like the old lazzolli excellent quality.

We thought we would treat ourselves to a nice takeaway delivery & opted for our favourite pizza place:Lazzolli. We ordered the pepperoni & sweet calzone. Absolutely beautiful! The filling is packed with gorgeous ingredients & the taste is just gorgeous. The chicken kebabs we get occasionally there too are awesome. To top it off, delivery was very prompt (approx 30 mins max travelling approx 5 miles) and the very polite & friendly Mr Lazzolli himself delivered our food with a smile on his face. Perfect!

I have to say Lazollis are by far the best at delivering top notch take away food. When asking for some changes to be made to my order they couldn't have been more helpful. The pasta was amazing, I will definitely be ordering that again. The staff are friendly, helpful and the food was value for money with portion sizes not skimped on at all. Whether picking up OR having home delivery I have not. had a bad experience they are amazing

Ordered calzone and a kebab. Phoned after 1 hour. Told it was on the way. Phoned again after 20 mins. Told it was with the driver. Phoned after 20 mins. Told she would call the driver and call us back. Food arrived 10 minutes later (no return call). Cold calzone, chewy onion rings, questionable chicken in the kebab. Won't use them again.

We love Turkish food and the Diner and Pide we get from Lazzolli is always freshly made and tasty. Nothing complicated, just really well done. 12 year old loves burger and chips. Warmly recommended.

Lazzollis have been doing their bit for key workers in Rugby by keeping us fed and going the extra mile by opening up to accommodate our orders.I’ve had the meat lovers pizza and the pide so far and would recommend them to anyone. Some of the nicest takeaway pizza I’ve ever had, and the fact that they’re supporting workers during such a difficult period means a lot.

We have been working flat out for weeks at the Job center and decided we needed a treat to keep us going. We ordered a variety of food from Lazzolli on Friday lunch time. Despite the fact they were already so busy, the food came promptly and with a smile. I have ordered food from here a few times now and they never fail to impress. Their kebabs (especially Iskender) are great and their Pides are just like the ones you find in Turkey. They deal with special requests well and are very accommodating. Mr Lazzolli and his crew are also very welcoming and happy to see you. Highly recommended!

I have been getting takeaways for lazzolli for about 3 year I have never had a problem always on time the restaurant is very clean and staff are so friendly, to the point where the world is going mad because of the Corona virus and not one shop could I get toilet roll from I was joking with the man on the and side you haven't got any toilet roll have you well when my order came to my house they had put in a toilet roll all wrapped up nice I was so happy thank so much. I've been a frequent visitor here for three years. The quality has always been excellent and the staff welcoming and friendly. The special kebab is excellent and I always try to grab one when I'm in the area.

Regular customer and the food is always great and well priced. Only reason for mark down is that quite often delivery is slower than originally expected but I now expect this due to its popularity and you always get an apology.

I called up to see how long it would be since it is Saturday night and we would be picking it up. The gentleman said around 10 minutes, so hubby and I looked over the menu and he called back and chose the Lazzolli mixed kebab and I had the mixed kabab. Hubby only had to wait a couple of minutes upon arrival. They were absolutely beyond delicious. The meat was cooked beautifully and the salad was so fresh! Nice and crisp and cold! Just how salad should be. The bread was so fresh and made on premise.

Been a while since I ordered from this place and was just as I recalled it. Stonebaked pizza and garlic pizza were spot on. Great tasting food. This time round I got the food delivered. Delivery was quick and the driver was friendly. Could pay be card at the door! Highly recommend their pizzas. One of, if not THE best takeaway in the area.

Staying in Coventry, I searched for a good kebab restaurant close by. This one seemed to be rated the best, so I thought that I would give it a try. How sorry am I that I did? I ordered a Shish kebab and was told that they only do one size. This size equates to what is small in most places. The price was £5.95 and the wait was not long because I was the only person in the shop. It arrived and quite honestly, I have never had a worse kebab. Size wise, even eating it all, I left hungry. Taste wise extremely bland. This was the smallest and most miserly portion of salad I ever seen, with only a small slice of tomato. The chilli sauce was basically a tomato pizza topping sauce with the slightest hint of chilli. The “pitta” simply wasn’t. It was the most foul tasting Italian style bread that I have ever eaten. This was billed as a traditional kebab. Not from any tradition that I am aware of. It was clearly an Italian take on a Turkish favourite, and it failed miserably. This was a complete waste of money and I will never return. Absolutely disgusting meal, and my advice to all is to avoid this place. To be a fair, it is clearly an Italian style take away so their pizza may well be good. Their attempt at the kebab market, however, falls so far below any acceptable standard, it really was that bad.

Tastiest kebab in rugby without a doubt...BUT...and this.is a.big but...you need two.kebabs to even.feel full. They are very.small..

Popped to Rugby for the first time in ages and stumbbled across this take away, as we were very hungry. The food was super fresh, delicious and would highly recommend it. It is a shame that we live so far away, as we would visit more often!!

This place is the best takeaway I've ever had and it's been amazing to watch it grow as I've been coming since it first opened a few years ago. It is not fast food so takes a little longer than your average takeaway, but it is not an average takeaway and is so worth the wait. Lovely tasty food.

I order food from Lazzolli on a regular basis and have done since it opened about 5 years ago. The delay with delivery times is only due to its continuous growth and excellent fresh homemade food I would recommend anyone to visit and try it out ( mixed meat wrap, salad, garlic yogurt is always a favourite)

This is the first time we have had a takeaway and can guarantee it won’t be the last. The food was excellent, highly recommend. Will definitely be visiting again .

Ordered food at 19:10, food didn’t arrive until 22:13. Complained 3 times during this time. Manager said he would personally deliver our food, yet it was a lady that turned up. All 3 kebabs and 1 wrap were cold and the 1 portion of chips are beyond stone cold.

Really pleasant service. They always seem busy but are always glad to chat and have a laugh while you wait. The food is top notch - kebabs fresh and succulent, salad always fresh, and pitta is light and delicious. Definitely worth a short detour. Next time we are going for one of the special meal deals when we have family over.

If we ever feel like a takeaway this is always top of the list. The usual is the special chicken kebab. Full of freshly produced food in homemade flat bread straight out the oven. If we dont fancy this then for a change one of the pizza's on fresh dough you can see being made while you wait also leave us so happy to have this place so near by.

We used to live near rugby and this place was our all time favourite. I’ve never found a place that will equal the kebabs here. We live in Solihull and the “authentic kebab” place local to us is nowhere near as good as Lazzolli. We took our day van there on Saturday night, watched TV and revisited for old times sake. ITS AS GOOD AS I REMEMBER. Lazzolli mixed Kebab - all time favourite and never equalled. It’s nice to find a place that claims the be “authentic” and just is.

Homemade fresh pitta.. Good marinated chicken.. A simple but very well executed dish. We are returnees and cant see that changing as with every dish we have tried it is all of an equal high standard.

Took almost 2 hours to get to us and one item was missing but when we called someone else was already on the way with it and they brought home made cookies too. Food, as ever, is totally delicious and not greasy at all, the staff are always lovely and friendly, and it's good value.

The owner is very friendly and you can see right into the kitchen and see how clean and organised it is. everything we have tried has been really good and the portions are generous. They do both types of kebab, regular pizzas and Turkish pizzas.
