Laughing Buddha in North Lanarkshire

Went into the take away to order to ensure they knew what my order was as I’ve had a few mistakes before. I specifically asked for 2 portions of well done crispy chips, twice to ensure he knew. I asked for the onions in the curry to be cooked not raw so well done onions. He said he understood and guess what beige undercooked chips and raw onions. Sorry won’t be back a waste of money when I went in to make sure take away order was understood. Cool your chips for longer that’s now umpteen disappointing hard or undercooked chips we’ve had

Never use again chicken chow mein noodles frozen and horrible

Only went for a Chinese takeaway. Service was polite and friendly. Waited in the restaurant which was empty with dated decor. Ordered mixed stay stay with no prawns. Was surprised to get 3 chicken skewers and only 1 beef skewer. Meat was all good quality. The sauce was what I would call an old style satay. It was fine, nothing special though. All in all the dish was good. The fired rice, rice grains were quite big. All in all I would give the place another go due to the quality of meat maybe just trying a different dish.

Great accommodation. Basic, but just what we needed for an overnight stay. Great welcome, and the rooms were tidy, clean, and ideal for our stay. Nice lounge to sit in if required.

We love the food from this place and the service is really warm and welcome can’t do enugh to ensure you have a good meal…… lunch time deal is just amazing value for money.
