Super food, great location and atmosphere and staff friendly and helpful. You need to book in advance. It’s bring your own.

Went with friends who have been a few times. I’d never had Filipino food before and totally loved it - fresh and delishus. A separate menu for veggies too. Such great service and a friendly atmosphere. If I lived in Ireland I’d go here all the time!

Dropped into Common Market (Belfast) for a few drinks, live music and a few nibbles from the pop up food stalls and we decided that Lasa looked great. Certainly weren’t disappointed with quality of food and friendliness of the chef who talked us through the menu and recommendations, I had the Sisig Fries with extra chilli (the extra ‘kick’ is always better) - next time I’ll have it with rice to be more authentic. The other half fancied a mixture of flavours and went for the mini boodle….a tasty selection which looked as good as it tasted…very impressed! Both very good snacks and we are definitely looking forward to booking a table at their restaurant in Comber to sample the wider menu.

I hadn’t been aware about this place until a friend told me about it recently. The boodles were amazing and a great way to try a selection of the food. I really liked the kimchi and garlic rice as well. The cheesecake dessert was really good too. Service was great and the waiter was very friendly. Despite it being a small restaurant they could probably do with an extra pair of hands helping out, especially on a busy night!

Booked for a family birthday on a Friday night. very warm welcome, great menu, and a good buzz in the small dining room. very attentive and friendly service but its all about the food. There where 5 of us so we tried all of the starters ( plus the special as an extra ) and they where all delicious, varied, and served quickly. Mains were equally good and in all honesty this is some of the best Asian food I have eaten anywhere and ranks with the best. Fresh, tasty, and delicious. Lots of highlights but for me the Dynamite stuffed chillies and Bistek Tagalog where real standouts dishes. As its BYO its alkso great value and you can really try as many dishes as you fancy. Great veggie / vegan options too. Deserves to be a massive success and well be back !

Lovely food and great service! Came down for my birthday after hearing about Lasa by one of my customers in work! Was busy at the time but the service was still very welcoming and polite, definitely looking forward to going back in the future and 100% recommend for a nice chill night of food! The atmosphere and style of the restaurant was great too.

Ordered a couple of starters to tide us over until the two Boodles (meat & fish) arrived. These were fine but nothing amazing.. I'm not here to complain really about the food, it was decent, we got what we paid for, it was tasty enough but nothing that we would rush back for. The menu was explained in really fine detail and a credit to Joanne, she really knows it inside out. She went through all the dishes and explained them in great detail, she's a credit to the restaurant. I only have one negative, we were told the restaurant was BYO so my partner headed to the local off licence. We're used to paying corkage fees when it's BYO, but at the very least you'd expect there to be mention of the charges either on the menu, by staff or displayed somewhere fairly visible to all customers. Not the case here. We actually commented during dinner that it was odd, but a nice surprise, that corkage wasn't being charged because there had been no mention. So yes, we raised an eyebrow when corkage of £3 per bottle of wine and £1 each for a bottle of beer was detailed on the menu. We paid it because as mentioned, we're well accustomed to corkage fees, however we're also accustomed to the fees being advised beforehand in order to avoid surprise charges. At the very least, staff should advise when they tell you it's BYO, it's good practice and just plain courteous to customers. Thank you

We were excited to try this since we heard it was coming to common market and it did not disappoint! I got the mini boodle with a few different pieces in it and rice and it was amazing!! Not only is the food really good but the guy serving in common market is so friendly and actually cares about how people enjoy the food! Can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic service delivered with more than a smile added to a relaxed atmosphere. The taste generated by each course ranged from subtle to sensational. Good sized portions which were reasonably priced and great value for money. The absence of a licence for selling alcohol provided opportunity to bring your own allowing the possibility of enjoying your favourite without having to pay the restaurant’s mark up. The ambiance is good and I will definitely return when next in the area,

One of my FB friends visited and pictures looked really nice. We decided to try it with hubby. The place is really tiny. But it gives that cosy feeling. They don't have license yet , but you can bring your own alcohol, which was nice as shop just 5mins away. Staff really friendly. We decided to go with seafood platter. It was 90% vegetables. Really disappointing to pay nearly £50 for a dish and get full plate of vegetables with few pieces of seafood. It suppose to come with salmon, we got cod. Didn't click until we already left. Our order took forever, they guy did apologies for it and we really didn't care that it took some time until we got it. As it looked really sad vegetables that were basically the same flavour. After seeing the platter we couldn't understand why it took so long, when it's just salads and few prawns with two pieces of mussels. Dessert was the only food part that we enjoyed.

Arrived just after 5pm, as probably the first guest of the evening. It was a little chilly to start but warmed up as more guests arrived and tables filled up. The decor and atmosphere was really lovely, and the staff were just brilliant. Really helpful and accommodating, warm and friendly. The food was great. We ordered a variety of starters, mains and desserts and everything was absolutely delicious, so tasty, and pretty authentic to Filipino food as far as I remember! I will definitely be back and recommending around the county side

Had the best dinner experience here! The food was incredible and there was tons of choices. I was so happy that there was an option to pick all 3 desserts in a mini taster bundle and they were so good! The service was lovely and attentive. Really recommend this place!

Having travelled to the Philippines many times I was so excited to try this place! It did not disappoint we had the boodle platters - the dish one and the meat one which came with a selection of lots of different things on the menu. The dishes were all cooked perfectly - there were scallops, prawns, chicken skewers, beautifully cooked steak - they were all gorgeous. We will definitely be back SOON!
