Comber Tandoori in Ards

The food is worth travelling miles for. It is hands down the best Indian food I have had and I've tried a fair amount around the world. The staff are really friendly and the atmosphere is cosy.

well what can I say, ordered 2 doner kebabs got chicken tandoori not sure that's even close to doner meat, phoned restaurant to be treated like an annoyance will definitely not be using this restaurant again appalling customer service 🤔

Delivered on time (we ordered ahead for a specific time). Food was brilliant!

Ordered a mix kebab and tandoori mixed grill, cost me £25 the kebab was very small and also had to through it in the bin as the bottom of the box was soaked in oil, swimming in oil, the tandoori mixed grill was a starter portion, no nann, no rice, no sauce just a small box for meat that cost £13, both kebab and mixed grill where freezing cold, still hungry and have to order from somewhere else, complete waste of money

Best Indian in Northern Ireland. The food is tremendous! Portion sizes are thee absolute best & the quality of food is second to none. We found this wee gem one random evening & have ordered nearly every week from we discovered it. We’ve only sat in twice but both times have been really good, the staff are lovely and the service is super quick. I have so much confidence in their food that I’m willing to try all sorts of random menu items which I wouldn’t normally. The Indian tapas, chat puri, saag paneer, Goan Chicken & Lamb Miahji are some of our favourite dishes. Highly recommend.

Got a takeaway tonight and the food was cold. Especially the rice. We only live 5 minutes away. Heated in the microwave as wouldn't trust sending it back. A bit of a let down Won't be back

Asked head chef how they cooked their pilau rice, he scoffed, disgusted, I ate my meal, enjoyed it and said nothing.

Food arrived in good time. Wasn't late. every single thing was stone cold. I live about 15 minutes away. Genuinely perplexed how this was freezing cold when it arrived. First time trying this place and it has great reviews. The food when reheated in my oven was okay, but honestly with thr price of take away these days, it's a rare treat and the least you can expect is a warm meal. Just not good enough.

Very welcoming place and management! We arrived a little in the last minute but they set up a table immediately, food is amazing, the flavours are just perfect, one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever tried. Fast service. This place don’t have enough reviews to explain how good it was. If I had only ONE thing to say is that the prices on the menu are not updated, as when we went to pay I saw on the receipt everything was 1€ more than what I read on the menu at the table.

Ordered meal for 2 as advertised but got more like a kids meal. Got onion bhaji instead of chana puri. The whole bag soaked in oil because of bombay aloo wasn’t packaged properly and got crushed inside the bag. Horrible experience and would not recommend, definitely not worth money

Food tasted great. Plenty of tender lamb in the curry. Food arrived early and was nice and hot. Excellent delivery service from very friendly driver. Overall excellent value for money. First time ordering and will definitely order again.

Our favourite place for family dinner - friendly, relaxed, great food. Curry’s are beautifully cooked as are the kebabs - the kids love the house kebab sauce which is always generously supplied. Portions are great definitely good value for money.

We got take away on a Sunday. Delicious. The staff helpful and fast. My only regret was not dining in.

I recently tried comber tandoori for a Friday night takeaway, and overall, it was a delightful experience. Also they have packer every sat wonderful guy good looking handsome guy!

Never had a takeaway were we haven't been able to eat it. Thick slabs of kebab meat that were cold and chewy. Pakora was more batter than chicken and chips were not cooked. Best bit was the nann, rest went in the bin.

Only get takeaways but food is always good and authentic..

Our food stated delivery at 5.30pm but it came at 6.50pm. When food arrived a meal was also missing. Butter chicken.

We order from here most weekends. it’s honestly the best Indian restaurant/takeaway ever! The portions, cuts of meat & prices are superb. The Indian tapas starter is lovely as well as the Miahji Lamb special, it’s really delicious. The chicken pakora is also huge but ask for the chilli dip with it (get 2 as they’re really small tubs) Nice cozy wee restaurant for sitting in as well.

Ordered two Kebabs. Build your own type stye. Tasty, but hoped for a larger portion.

Food wasn’t very warm. Ordered at 7.15pm didn’t arrive until 8.45pm. Estimated delivery time was 7.50pm then it kept changing.

The food was piping hot and delicious as always. Highly recommend this place it never disappoints.
