Largigi in West Dorset

The menu board clearly states last orders at 2:45pm. We tried to place an order for four people at 2:15pm to be told the kitchen was closed. So best not to go if you want a later lunch as their kitchen hours are clearly ‘flexible’.

I was so looking forward to our meal as we had a great meal here some time ago. We waited almost an hour after we placed our order and no food appeared. In the end we paid for our drinks and got ready to leave. We pointed out to the server calmly that we hadn’t had our food although we had seen people round us getting their food despite arriving long after us. We didn’t get an apology just a lighthearted comment that we should go somewhere else with better service and better food and she then flounced away. We were left speechless and the people on surrounding tables were also shocked by her attitude and said so. I appreciate mistakes do happen with orders on occasion , but a simple apology would have been appreciated. I can’t comment on the food but will say your staff are not loyal to you and at the very least need training to deal with awkward situations. It was bad experience made far worse by just one disrespectful server. Very disappointed.

An odd place. It looks like it doesnt know if its a cafe or a thai restaurant.. but despite this, we decided to give it a go, popped in at 1700 and reserved the only table left for 1830 Arrived at 1830 and the waitress / manager had given our table away. she didn't really have a a reason why. She offered us a table outside,, part covered but as it was tipping with rain.. the seats and table was obviously wet which clearly wasnt ideal! . I suggested that if she gave us 2 complimentary beers with our dinner, we'd sit in the rain.. She wasn't interested in this idea or any other solution tbh... she became a little patronising in the end.. Poor service considering we had booked. Looking around at what was being served to the diners, the food didn't look great tbh, so I think we had a lucky escape. We wont be returning.

Never disappoints, this place in its beautiful prime location offers some of them tastiest Thai food. The service is lovely, always with a smile and our dogs are welcome. We could not ask for anything more when we visit beautiful Lyme Regis x

Decided to shelter under one of the parasols overlooking the beach. Ordered a chai coffee, Cappuccino and 2 Tunnocks Wafer Bars & was billed £9.90. The Wafer bars that equate to less than 20p each if you purchase an 8 pack cost £1.66 each (No wonder no price was displayed on the counter). I do prefer to support local independent venues but not when the customer has to pay such inflated prices to offset the venue when it’s closed off season. I won’t be returning.

This is the worse experience I have ever had at a restaurant. My friend and I ordered a sandwich each, one potion of chips and an iced coffee came to just over £28. We sat outside and our order was brought to us, we were told if we wanted any condiments they were just inside the door. My friend got up to get some salt and as she just left the table seagulls, came down and took one of her sandwiches, she hadn't even taken a bite. She is a diabetic and had already taken her insulin so she had to have half of my sandwich. The cook said she could not have a replacement as she got up from her seat (to get some salt which she was told to do so by the waitress). We complained but it fell on deaf ears and was repeatedly told she should not of got up from her seat, so £10.50 on a sandwich for nothing. I could understand if the bread used had been thick and of good quality but it was a thinly sliced bread that you would get from the local supermarket so a sandwich would of cost £2 at the most. So a replacement and some goodwill would not have set them back much. There is no sign to say do not leave your table otherwise you will lose your food also the condiments should be either left on the table or the waitress should ask what you would like and bring to the table. An adjacent table also had the same experience. This completely ruined our day. So be warned !!!!!!

Amazing food a service. Very easy to walk past and not notice it! Go find it. We love Thai food, and we're so pleased with this find.

Fantastic Thai food , Hard working staff who were attentive and friendly, all was fabulous and also excellent vegetarian options.

We had an impromptu Thai lunch on the prom in the sunshine. It was really tasty, felt authentic and had something for everyone in the family. The kids had cheese toasties alongside pad thai etc. very generous portions.

We've been to this lovely, friendly bistro on a number of occasions, although we avoid the summer months when Lyme is very crowded! Tables outside to sit and drink in the view of sea and Cobb on a warm September day. Food is excellent, freshly prepared and the staff friendly. Sandwiches were really good and loved the multi-coloured prawn crackers!

We were looking forward to having a Thai meal in Lyme during our stay here. The restaurant always looked busy when we passed so we decided to book a table for dinner. We were very disappointed as we found all of our dishes completely tasteless and certainly no flavours of thai spices reached our palette.

We frequently visit Lyme Regis but for some reason have never tried Largigi until this summer. The Thai food is amazing and would say the best we’ve ever tasted! The staff are incredibly friendly and create a lovely atmosphere. I do prefer sitting down for lunch/dinner inside as the outdoor tables are a little small so best to book. It is, however, lovely to sit outside for a drink and a slice of their tasty cakes whilst admiring the stunning view of Lyme Bay!!! We will be back very soon!

We visited for an impromptu dinner. Unlike some restaurants in Lyme Regis who were fully booked and seemed to not care about dismissing you (and potential future custom) in a rude manner, this restaurant was welcoming and friendly. We sat outside due to not having booked which was fine as the weather was good. Service was excellent. The food was delicious and very decent portion sizes. Thank you for a lovely evening! Lovely Thai food, good portions and friendly staff. I would definitely eat here again, it calls itself a cafe but to be honest at night time it should call itself a restaurant.
