Best pub in the town for good beer and great craic!!👍🍻😄

I'm not a football fan, but if you are, they have a big screen for matches. Bar has a good atmosphere and serves a nice Guinness. The day I called in, they had a guy playing some nice tunes on the guitar. Would recommend it for a try.

Can't really comment on much as we only popped in for one and it was quite early. Looks really nice though and probably has a great atmosphere

Sometimes it's easier to find fault than to praise. Loved the place. Guinness as good as anywhere and very reasonably place. Staff actually looked like they wanted to be friendly and not forced. Defo be back next time I'm in Liverpool.

This is a very bad feeling! I went in and ordered two drinks, didn't finish them and then I went out and smoked a cigarette, and the security guard at the door said I couldn't go in because I wasn't wearing slacks or jeans. I explained that I had ordered two drinks and had not finished them, and the security guard said I could not enter because of the sweatpants I was wearing. I've wasted 12 quid in this pub! I was very sad and angry, I have not encountered this in many bars, it is really difficult to understand. I just want to say why no one told me sweatpants weren't allowed when I went in, and then kicked me out after I ordered my drink, which is very uncomfortable!

Just passed by the pub on a Saturday night, heard the live band from outside and absolutely loved it, and decided to go in for a pint and enjoy the atmosphere and show support but got firmly rejected by the bouncer because "I had no company". Didn't know an Irish tavern would implement such a no-singles policy, and it wasn't even half full... plenty of empty seats from what I saw (felt a bit bad for the band to be honest). Anyway, no Irish or Liverpudlian hospitality here for you if you happen to be "solo". Plenty of other pubs around that will welcome you with open arms.

Went to see sam tompkins preform, was amazing! 8 quid for a drink is heavy tho

£7.00 for a pint of Guiness in a cheap disposable plastic cup is a disgrace. Guiness should take their licence off them.

Beautiful bar and really friendly and polite staff.. Especially the manager Jack and the doorman called Tony. They were so helpful and made us feel very welcome!

We loved live performance! Very talented singer who also played guitar. Barmen were friendly, created the atmosphere of joy and delivered delicious cocktails

Hele gezellige sfeer, met een live zanger. Lekkere drankjes en zeker betaalbaar als student. Wij kwamen als groep van 25 man aan en er was plek zat, de medewerkers namen de tijd voor je. Een kon erg goed goochelen en wist ons steeds te verbazen met zijn kaart trucs. Barman Jack is ook geweldig, hij nam goed de tijd voor je en zorgde goed voor je! Toen we voor de 2de keer terug kwamen mocht ik samen met Jack mijn eigen cocktail maken. Als ik ooit nog is in Liverpool ben kom ik zeker terug!!

Awesome staff, great manager Jack. First night in Liverpool and was an incredibly welcoming place with a good laugh on student night. Good selection of booze and are at a reasonable price. Would recommend to anyone.

I visited this place 2-3 times per day for 1 week. I saw you had a live music Saturday and I thought it would be nice to enjoy live music with some drinks but your security guy say "who are you with" and he pushed me outside with rude attitude. There is no indication that this live performance need reservation or "couple only entrance" (also I contacted you through Instagram but no reply at all) so I am guessing that your security guy didn't like my look because I am Turkish person and I can not tolerate this behavior at all. Any discrimination shouldn't be allowed. So no, this is not a fake review. This experience really deserve 1 star.

You'd never guess what a beautiful bar lies down these stairs. They've thrown a brilliant a Eurovision Semi Final viewing party, big screen, great audio, fab selection of drinks, lovely staff, seriously can't fault this place. We'll deffo be back.

Love Lanigans on Ranelagh St. Was going to try Lanigans on Wood St for the first time on Saturday night. The business savvy doorman let my girlfriend in and then declined the 3 lads because there was too many of us. Quite an interesting policy when the bar was half empty and just full of lads. Feel a bit sorry for the owner with the two on the door turning away business

Great live music and really friendly vibe

Had awesome rock music playing that was directed outside on Sunday(1/8) at 6:30pm, when I walked in they were “closed”. Lady was nice that said they were closed and the venue looked great. Only a 3 star review due to the hours confusion. If you can add your open hours that would be great!!!

Busy little hidden bar with live music and lovely staff

Absolutely top class spot when over in Liverpool for the weekend. Music is deadly, staff couldn't do enough for you. Popped in Friday night to check it out and ended up staying the night and Saturday night also. Will definitely be back next time when we're back in! 🙌🏼
