Very oily with dark coloured oil. Soggy battered sausage.

I was skeptical when ordering as I'd never used this takeaway before. But I was very surprised even with the chips as some takeaways use frozen thin chips which I don't think goes well with fish. So I'll definitely be using this take away again.

The Fish, mussy peas and curry sauce were ok but the steak and kidney pie was dried out and un eatable, over cooked, could hardly even bite into it and had to spit it out, not impressed

25 minutes late driver didn’t bother to read instructions and made us walk up the road to collect it she was so very very rude !! This is such a shame as the driver we had before is lovely

Food was lovely, as always. However, Just Eat did not give my door number or correct phone number. The delivery guy was walking around the Close for ages as no house number and tried to phone but mobile number was wrong. Luckily, I looked for him!

Fish very small for a large cod look like it had been left hanging around spam fritter the same and chips not very nice first time we’ve had this consider this very bad not worth £20

Ordered at 17.15pm, was told would be here 6pm, kept getting moved in 10 minute increments and then turned up at 19.00. Tried to cancel and was told would not be refunded!

Always thought this was a good shop until tonight. Ordered a Haddock which is a fish we have eaten on numerous occasions. However, on eating Haddock from this shop, we discovered it is covered in scales. In all my years of eating fish, I have never had a piece of battered fish that comes with scales on the fish. To be told that is how it comes and if you don't want scales with your fish, you need to specify this. This is an insult! Not even a sorry, or offer of something else as it can't be eaten. They clearly don't value customers, if you want grapes with seeds, it will be shown on the packaging so customer satisfaction is achieved. Clearly just happy to exploit people and take their money. Thoroughly disappointed and will never order from them again. Customers can tell when a business values them! Forgot to mention, food was ordered at approximately 5pm, and at 7pm we had to go and collect it. Order wasn't even prepared!

Asked for it to be delivered at half 5 and finally got it at 7pm! Food was fine.

It happens and normally this place is great, but the chips were so greasy tonight, I hardly ate any. It took a very long time for delivery too, which is unusual. Because they’re usually spot on, I’m happy to give them the benefit of the doubt.

well I ordered haddock given cod I've was in that trade for years so know the difference between cod and haddock.The chips seemed to have just been dipped into the fat as they were hard and not cooked property.As I said I was in that trade myself .Very dissatisfied and will very not use them again the meal was disgusting

this took 2.25 hours from order to delivery- without any apology or expectation management- when ordered did not say will be over 2 hours- instead kept changing the arrival time...food is always great but this ruins the experience

Lamprey food is always decent. The food was hot fresh and tasty. BUT Just Eat led us on a merry dance with the delivery time. I ordered at 720pm with circa 30 min delivery but it kept getting put back and back and eventually didn’t arrive until 840pm which is ridiculous and my appetite was out the window by then. Pretty much had enough of just eat won’t be using the platform again.

This is usually our go to place and never have had a bad meal. Unfortunately it took nearly 2 hours from ordering to arrive. Burgers were not in boxes and arrived in a state. A cold can of drink was put in the bag making one of the burgers really cold

Order kept being delayed, I was told waiting on just eat driver but had already got McDonald’s delivery over 40 mins earlier from just eat driver ordered afterwards

Very fresh however fish small for large cod nearly 10 pounds

Food never showed up, delivery driver got the wrong address he called twice, we helped direct him to our address but telling him to use the street name and door number but he marked the order as delivered, and the food never showed, tried to call his number and it doesn’t connect, needs sacking, item quality out as a 3 star as I didn’t actually receive the order so could not judge

Didn’t Read dietary notes, I said salt and vinegar on notes and sauce as there is no option for salt and vinegar when selecting from menu, I can’t eat them like that wasted my money
