Saved the messed up meal with tasty food thanks

the delivery driver sat outside my house for 5 minutes chatting with his friend whilst the food got cold and soggy is un eatable

items missing, ages to get through on the phone, to be told , sorry we are busy we can't deliver your missing items can you come and get them! No, that's why I had delivery. was then told would be about 20mins for missing items to be delivered!

food great as always but let down by Just Eat not having enough drivers to deliver to both my and the Restaurants frustration. ordered 18:50 delivered 20:45 on a mid week evening

Nan didn’t like the chips this time but she liked her fish.

Perfect chippy excellent haddock and chips wicked mushy peas. Recommended for quality and great value and very large portions!

It happens and normally this place is great, but the chips were so greasy tonight, I hardly ate any. It took a very long time for delivery too, which is unusual. Because they’re usually spot on, I’m happy to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Not great at all burger was mushy and the chips was like cardboard.. tasted like they had been reheated in the microwave..really disappointed

I've had food from this place before, and it's always been great. I think they were having an off day today. So the food was just ok.

All delicious but the fish and chips were upside down so the batter was stuck to the lid.

Not sure if you have different staff on tuesdays but this is 2nd tuesday hasnt been the best. Seperate salad? well done meat when i asked for lightly done and no salt on chips.. Could you confirm if this is correct as wont order on a tuesday anymore. Thanx

well I ordered haddock given cod I've was in that trade for years so know the difference between cod and haddock.The chips seemed to have just been dipped into the fat as they were hard and not cooked property.As I said I was in that trade myself .Very dissatisfied and will very not use them again the meal was disgusting

food was good, arrived above warm but not overly hot. delivery person friendly.

this took 2.25 hours from order to delivery- without any apology or expectation management- when ordered did not say will be over 2 hours- instead kept changing the arrival time...food is always great but this ruins the experience

Lamprey food is always decent. The food was hot fresh and tasty. BUT Just Eat led us on a merry dance with the delivery time. I ordered at 720pm with circa 30 min delivery but it kept getting put back and back and eventually didn’t arrive until 840pm which is ridiculous and my appetite was out the window by then. Pretty much had enough of just eat won’t be using the platform again.

Good but the curry sauce was lumpy and had spilt in it’s paper bag. Cold drink in with the hot food.

Our food turned up cold (not the restaurants fault) our driver decided he needed to go on a 20 minute trip to get petrol

food was hot but just really late even when the company were called.

I’ve had much better fish and chips but it wasn’t bad. The curry sauce was really nice, chips could’ve been better. Overall it was good when I added salt, but prior to that VERY mediocre

This is usually our go to place and never have had a bad meal. Unfortunately it took nearly 2 hours from ordering to arrive. Burgers were not in boxes and arrived in a state. A cold can of drink was put in the bag making one of the burgers really cold

Order kept being delayed, I was told waiting on just eat driver but had already got McDonald’s delivery over 40 mins earlier from just eat driver ordered afterwards

To find that they do salad box of kebab salad is a winner food late but still fresh and hot

Piping hot beautiful piece of fish huge ! Cooked to perfection

Very fresh however fish small for large cod nearly 10 pounds

Food never showed up, delivery driver got the wrong address he called twice, we helped direct him to our address but telling him to use the street name and door number but he marked the order as delivered, and the food never showed, tried to call his number and it doesn’t connect, needs sacking, item quality out as a 3 star as I didn’t actually receive the order so could not judge

Didn’t Read dietary notes, I said salt and vinegar on notes and sauce as there is no option for salt and vinegar when selecting from menu, I can’t eat them like that wasted my money

Saveloy skin was too tough. Not sure it was cooked properly. Batter on spam fritter was a bit overcooked.

I went and collected my own order as the delivery was over an hour and kept changing time.

Good quality food, always very clean .Owners are polite and friendly. As well as traditional fish and chip shop dare there are kebabs and Southern fried chicken in offer. Home delivery via Justeat. Never had a bad experience. Curry pancake rolls are one of my favourites.

Poor customer service, prioritise delivery's over customers waiting in the shop, which is pathetic when you have customers waiting with money

Great fish and chips. Large Haddock was just that and cooked perfectly. Plenty of chips with enough for seconds. Price very good too so thanks again Lamprey. See you again soon.
