LaLeLe - Taiwan Chicken Chop Happy Hot Pot in Glasgow City

Once you see alll the raw ingredients - you don’t really wanna eat it, but once it’s ready - this place is perfect. Staff looks like they don’t care about you, but I guess it’s just another culture. Keep in mind that spicy base is really spicy!

Oh god you have to try this place. It is phenomenal. Get the spicy soup and be adventurous with the ingredients. My favourite place to eat in Glasgow.

I was a little nervous coming here due to other reviews of this place, but my experience was surprisingly delightful! We had a few skewers, and picked a bunch of food for them to fry with their ‘Spicy Intense’ flavour. They had a wide selection of protein, vegetables and noodles, then 5 different bases for you to pick from, 4 of them were soup based and the other one is stir fried. The staff were really friendly and lovely, would definitely be back!!

Here you can pick whatever you like from the fridge and the restaurant will cook it for you. The mala taste is not very spicy, fragrant and delicious. The staff recommend it very well.

This is just what we call simple and lip smacking food. It’s what it’s labelled as and just makes you warm and happy. Get the knife cut noodles for sure they are the best!!

This is DEFINITELY NOT Taiwanese food at all!!! Avoid it if you want decent food. It's like the Russians selling Ukraine food.

Incorrect business hours and poor service attitude

Went in to look at their menus. Asked the young guy at the counter for a takeout menus and he was really helpfully. The older chap then came along and spoke to him in their native language and the mood changed. The friendly atmosphere will soon disappeared snd all of a sudden we were made to feel unwelcome. The younger guy then said that they had no menus? Needless to say that we went somewhere else. Really bizarre experience.

Whatever this was, it was definitely not Taiwanese...

太坑了 盆換成了玻璃的那種 一個盆起碼500g+ 根本沒拿什麼 一碗麻辣燙20多鎊 這個價格 火鍋燒烤都有多的了 不值得 而且味道不如之前的了 餐具也好髒😖😖

The food is not fresh at all. I had a stomachache after eating

They only take cash and the old guy who cook dishes is very unwilling to help you. You will get 0 service. Expect you will not be served well! I would like to give 0/5 star. Even 1 star is very waste.

Would be better if the staff could be helpful and friendly

Very nice food overall with a real authentic feel. We had the dumplings which were served with a nice garlic and sesame oil mix, as well as a bowl of DIY hotpot which came in a very tasty “numbing chilli” Sichuan style broth. Disclaimer - You do have to know what you’re doing in terms of picking the food from the Do-it-yourself food containers. I imagine this could be a bit intimidating for those that are new to Chinese hotpot but well worth it for the more adventurous!

Decent portion, but the taiwanese beef noodle was very different from the real deal.

Outstanding and well priced food. You select all the desired ingredients for your hot pot, pay by weight, then have it all cooked up fresh into a delicious meal. Ours came to less than £20 for two massive hot pots and two drinks. A must try in the west end!

Fresh, healthy food! You pick your own items and they cook it directly for you! It doesn't get fresher than that.

Lovely and authentic chinese food. Elements of it are not for the non cultural enriched Glaswegians. Slurp.
