Lal Quila Restaurant in Tameside

I would recommend it, My food was lovely and the staff were friendly and polite. Nothing was a problem for them. We had to park across a main road but it was worth it.

Consistently a great place for an Indian meal 👌

The food was the real highlight. I tried their chicken tandoori, butter chicken, and seekh kebabs, and each dish was bursting with authentic spices and fresh ingredients. The curry was particularly flavorful, with a perfect balance of aromatic spices, tender chicken. The butter chicken was creamy and perfectly seasoned, while the kebabs were juicy with a smoky flavor.

Excellent food in pleasant surroundings

Always come here, been recently with 23 people, in one big group, all food served at the same time, all right, everyone loved it, was an amazing night which was catered for perfectly by the amazing team at lal quila, had a baby and was given a high chair, thanks!

Very nice food, plenty of choices. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. One of us is dairy free and they adjusted one of the sides so that we could have it. The waiter was really helpful and knowledgeable.

My family came up from Norfolk we all went for a meal and everyone of said it was one of the best currys they've ever had. It was beautiful 😍

Visited with 7 friends on a Saturday night and couldn't fault the service or the food. We had different starters and main courses with no complaints from anyone. We all enjoyed it

Absolutely superb dining experience both food and service excellent with reasonable prices, Been coming here for years speaks for itself, bit of a blip a couple of years ago when the quality of the food went down . . maybe change of chef !, But last few visits the food has been delicious and everyone remarked how nice it was

The food was alright, nothing outstanding just alright. Other Indian restaurants that I've been to are usually very quick at getting the food out, nor here. The place wasn't busy, we went at 6.30pm, and we waited a bit longer than expected. The place isn't very atmospheric just a typical Indian restaurant. We had to ask 3 different waiters for the bill so that was another wait. I don't think that I will be rushing back. Sorry.

Christmas eve. Fantastic and thank you

went for Christmas dinner very disappointed, Prawn cocktail only had about 3 prawns mostly salad, turkey dinner to much veg 6 in total only 2 roast potatoes no yorkshire pudding.

Can't fault the place. I hadn't been for a while but have been twice recently. Service and food were spot on.

Had not been in since pre lock down, and as expectations the food, staff and atmosphere was just as good as when used nearly every fortnight. Great to see. Will be back on a more regular basis.

Great Indian food and nice atmosphere

Not too bad. Service was very good, but it was early evening. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Food was hot when it arrived and waiter service good. Drinks prices are quite reasonable compared with other places. Starter of mixed kebab was very good and very tasty. Main courses of Chicken Tikka fry and Chicken tikka Jallfrezi were of a high standard. £5 for poppadoms with chutney for 3 maybe a little steep but it is restaurant quality. Overall a good experience and plenty of spaces to park. Early bird specials in the week are good value. Will visit again when passing.

Not been to the Lal Quilla for a couple of years, but decided to take a friend who lives on the Algarve for most of the year and constantly complains that he can't get good Indian food there. We are all curry fanatics and knew we wouldn't be let down in Mossley. We were right! The three of us had different curries and each one was totally different than the others and absolutely delicious. This has to be the best Indian restaurant in Greater Manchester and the service was impeccable. The staff are happy to describe the different dishes and didn't disappoint. Well done ........ we'll be back!!

First time here tonight, and I have to say the service was on point very welcoming and the food was absolutely gorgeous, would definitely recommend this place!!

Came here with a large party. My food was good but some friends commented their curries were watery or wrong items came out. Some dishes lacked spice.

Placed an order for collection and it was ready in twenty minutes. The food was piping hot and really could not have been any better. How there's not more people in there I don't know. Only two slight niggles... The Keema Naan and Keema Paratha don't have a lot of meat inside. And we asked for Keema Rice but got vegetable rice, which was still delicious. For such minor issues, can't really knock it down.

Rude staff, rubbish food, don't get the Groupon deal the resteraunt don't honour some of the dishes which are clearly outlined on the voucher.

Top food, probably ordered way too much food because my tummy is full to busting. Polite staff, decent pricing, family of 5 was about 88 quid and that was with loads of j2os.

Booked a table for 6, wasnt seated till 6.20. Starters took 30 minutes and main course took another hour. The food was ok but not impressed and would not recommend going on a weekend.

Perfect. It feels classic without being stuck in the past. Modern without feeling cold. The food is as brilliant as always and the service is top notch. Seems very clean all around and just has a relaxed atmosphere that helps you settle in with friends and enjoy your food while having a good time. In a word. Faultless.

Disappointing meal, ordered a shashlik, should have been on a sizzler but came on a plate and was nearly cold I didn't eat it and we left.

Lovely food from this nicely decorated Indian. The food is very good. Amazing tastes and smells and every dish is created to entice you with every bite. The staff are friendly if a little slow at serving. Parking is available at the rear just off the main road. The restaurant is all on one floor so no issue for people with access issues.

Service was terrible kept in the lounge for an hour whilst waiting for a table we had booked and then chicken came out RAW AND COLD.

I really like this restaurant we come as a meeting place to meet up with friends

Our first meal was a take away from la quilla and it was lovely, speedy delivery of food and lovely and hot too. The staff are very nice and helpful too.

So dissapointed , really gone down hill. Eat here many times in the past ,but not again. Poor service ,food was very poorly presented .The curry sauces had a film on top ,obviously been standing some time in a warm oven. The taste was lacking. No one bothered to ask if our meals were ok . Òur last visit .never again !
