I recently had my wedding at the Lakeside Venue and it was so much more than I could have ever dreamed of. Firstly, the venue is set beautifully in the Welsh hills and when you enter the marquee, the atmosphere can only be described as magical and fairytale-like. More than this, Louise who runs events here is an absolute star. She is a lovely, warm person and helped me bring all my visions to life. The service she provides in helping run the day is second to none and her attention to detail and creativity is something to be admired - nothing is too much for her to bring to life. She provides support throughout the wedding planning process and ensures the day runs smoothly and has the biggest heart. When I first met Louise I felt like I had known her for years and she has now become a somewhat motherly figure in my life - I will definitely be keeping in touch with her on a personal level. My wedding day was exactly how I wanted it and this was due to the venue, decorations (Louise provides a lot of decorations in her pricing) and bespoke stage. However, Louise’s service and personality is priceless and unique and this would not be part of any other venue. She is an absolute boss at what she does and I will definitely be using her for future events.

We had a hog roast which was delicious and went down a treat with our guests. We were looked after from planning all the way to picking up our things after the event. We attended the venue for a wedding on 26/08/2024 and I must say, it was amazing! Louise and staff went above and beyond to make sure the day went perfect and that it did…we attended a wedding there many years ago and what a difference the venue is now,so perfect in every way,1 very small downfall that there’s no draft alcohol as many like a good pint. We had our wedding at Lakeside in June and we had the best day! Louise and the whole team at Lakeside were amazing and really made sure our day was perfect. The planning process was so easy as Louise has so much experience and knowledge of Weddings that I knew I could trust her with our vision. We had lots of meetings leading up to the day and it really put us at ease knowing Louise was at the other end of the phone to answer any questions I had (at any time of day!) She really is amazing and the most friendly person you will meet. The whole team made sure that the details on the day were perfect and we didn't have to worry about a thing. The venue itself is beautiful and such a gorgeous setting for any event. Thank you Lakeside for such an amazing day! We won't be strangers 🩷

Attended a wedding here on 1 July 2023. What can I say. The venue is beautiful! The team at Lakeside are wonderful, very friendly and nothing is too much trouble! The venue's owners are very hands on and involved in all the organisation. They think of every detail. The staff were constantly clearing and cleaning, without being intrusive.10/10 for the toilets! Can't rate this venue enough and can't wait to go back.

I don’t even know where to begin. Our wedding was everything I have ever dreamed of, and it was all thanks to my beautiful wedding planner Louise and the brilliant staff at Lakeside. From booking the wedding date in 2021, Louise has gone above and beyond for us, nothing was too big of an ask, she truly is the most amazing woman I’ve ever met❤️ I knew I was in safe hands with Louise by my side, supporting not just me but my amazing husband through it all. We recently had our wedding at this venue and it was the most amazing day of our lives. The venue itself is spectacular!!! Getting married in the marquee outdoors in the glorious sunshine is something I’ll never forget. With the backdrop of the lake whilst getting married was amazing. The grand marquee itself holds a magnificent reception and is dressed beautifully and accommodates all needs. The food and entertainment were fantastic and we wouldn’t have wanted our special day anywhere else. However what makes lakeside the perfect venue is Louise and her staff. They worked tirelessly to make our wedding as magical as we envisioned it. Without their work, organisation and ability to adapt the venue to our every whim is nothing short of incredible. Held my reception at Lakeside Venue in June 2023 and I can't rate it enough. I went back after the event and fell in love with it all over again. The venue is stunning, it needs minimal doing to it, decorating wise, the views and scenery are gorgeous for pictures. Lou is absolutely amazing, to helping with organising the event in the lead up and even making sure everything goes to plan on the night, she was faultless and becomes a friend during the whole process, even down to calming nerves before my entrance. The venue has anything and everything you could need from it and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

The most beautiful venuen and staff. My husband and I got married here a week ago (27th May) and can truly say it was the best day of our lives. From the moment we seen the stunning location we fell in love with it. It's so picturesque and breath taking. But the most special thing of all about this venue is Louise. This incredible woman was by our side every minute of every day from the time of booking to wishing us 1 week congratulations, she kept us updated and even made my strange requests possible. Louise has so much passion and love for her job and venue and it really shows. She took our vision and made it even more spectacular than we could of imagined, we know and appreciate all the hours she put in to making our day so special. The decor really showed her dedication to making our day perfect and it was so beautiful and unique to us even down to the very small thoughtful details. Our guests complimented all day (and still are) on how beautiful the venue looked, how delicious the food was and how amazing and friendly the staff were especially Louise and her husband Carl. I can not recommend this venue enough to newly engaged couples. Lakeside Venue is truly magical. I will forever be grateful..and will hope to keep this sensational woman in our lives. As a photographer I have over the years shot weddings at many locations all over Wales, some amazing, some not so amazing. Recently I shot one at The Lakeside and it immediately became my favourite wedding venue to shoot at in the whole of Wales. This place is absolutely stunning. It's got the biggest marquee I've ever seen and the grounds are beautiful. But it has one thing more than other venues, it has Louise... She stops being hostess for the whole day and turns into your best friend. If I was getting married again it would be here without question. So if you're looking for the perfect venue for your big day seriously, look no further.

We had our wedding 19/05/23 at the most stunning venue with amazing scenery, our photographers and Videograher loved shooting at the venue and couldnt get over how stunning it was. Our guests were wowed by how stunning the grand marquee and lake marque was they were totally blown away with how beautiful it all was not forgetting the lake. All the staff was absolutely amazing everyone was so helpful and polite, Louise was there from start to finish there is nothing this woman can't do she was present throughout the entire day making sure everything was ok for us, checking if we needed anything and making sure everything was running smoothly. I can’t thank louise enough for all of her hard work, she really is a special lady and we are so grateful for everything she done for us. Would highly recommend this wedding venue. Simply perfect.

I got married on 1st July 2022 at this stunning venue. From day 1 we were treated as we were the only couple she was working with. Louise was available 24/7 to contact. I’ve never met someone so passionate and perfect at what she does, from the venue to every little detail she did for us she made everything so special. I felt at ease and was never stressed, Louise was always there to help. I let Louise do whatever she wanted on our wedding, from how it was set up, table centerpieces, indoor/outdoors. This is a beautiful venue that's ideal for people who want plenty of space (both outdoor and indoor). Its secluded location makes it feel really private, like your very own little resort. As a wedding videographer, I really loved all the different areas where people could socialise and party. The gardens are gorgeous, with plenty of places to sit and mingle, and the marquee itself is absolutely enormous. The venue's biggest strength however is the owner/manager. Louise is so incredibly passionate about her job and she genuinely loves her couples. She takes pride in making sure everyone's happy (including suppliers such as myself) and goes the extra mile to make each wedding unique and magical. I had the pleasure of getting married here in September 2022. There honestly aren’t enough words to explain how much this venue means to me. From the moment I stepped foot in the hunter suite I just knew this place was for me. The hunter was so beautifully rustic, the florals and the lights were just enough for the ceremony to be intimate and fairytale like and then the grand marquee! WELL what can I say the way Lou styles the venue was perfect, the centr pieces, the trees, the flower wall the bar just every final details was exquisite. Don’t even get me started on Lou, we went to this venue just to view it, never did I think I would be walking away with a friend for life. Lou made me feel like I was the only bride in the world, I had face times at 10-11pm at night, access to her extensive list of suppliers WITH DISCOUNTS and Lou gave her honest opinion on my plans throughout the whole process. The only negative I have is that I only get to experience this with her once. Lou from the bottom of my heart you really made our experience unforgettable. I had my wedding here and I could not be more in love with the venue. The place is gorgeous- tucked away from everyone in your own little bubble. The marquee is stunning and we got married outdoors by the like. The venue/food is outstandingly beautiful and the views are ideal for wedding photos!! Also, if you want a stress free wedding- I couldn’t recommend Louise enough! Her attention to detail is impeccable and made our entire experience so relaxing. Our day was perfect and I just wish I could relive it again!

What an amazing venue! As photographers, we see a lot of different places where people get married and have receptions. Few meet this standard of care! Everything was beautifully maintained and on point. The owners are just amazing, they care, really care that the day is perfect in every way! We booked the grand marquee for our wedding party celebrations and from the very first enquiry to Louise we knew we’d chosen the right venue. Louise and her team are dedicated to making sure your day runs perfect and go above and beyond to ensure that you’re happy with everything. This is a family run wedding venue and you’re made to feel so welcome and relaxed and any questions or requests you have are answered almost immediately by Louise, she’ll give you the biggest cwtch and make you feel like a friend. We cannot recommend this place enough if you’re looking for a wedding venue, it is absolutely stunning and during what can be a stressful time organising a wedding, Lou made it easy for us. Thank you guys we had an amazing time at our wedding party and all our guests have said the same.

Don't wear heels, so difficult to walk on the stones, found it very difficult to walk around, put me off getting up and mingling as I have a disability, someone did fall over and had cuts and buses, grass is no different, I understand it was a field but it really need looking at.

We came to the venue as guests to our nephew's wedding. This is a beautiful venue with the kindness and friendliest management and team. They went above and beyond all day, but especially for us. At the end of the evening when our booked taxis to go back to our hotel let us down, the staff rallied around to get us back to our hotel safely. We will forever grateful to them!!

My husband and I could not possibly recommend Lakeside enough. Louise, my guardian angel, completely outdid herself in every expectation we had. She cares just as much about your day as you do! From day 1 we were treated as though we were the only couple she was working with, nothing was too much or too little to contact her with. The venue itself is stunning, out of the way so you feel secluded but within very easy reach of hotels etc and also has plenty of parking! We had a small reception of 50ish guests in the grand marquee and Louise made sure to make it feel as though we filled the place! We had a gorgeous intimate garden ceremony with the lake behind us, sun beating down and the beautiful fountain to top it off. How could you want anything more? The food is outstanding, please do not be worried about going hungry, there's no chance of that! The deluxe bbq was such a hit with guests as we're the desserts and the loaded fries later in the evening. Our photographer was also exceptionally happy with the meals she was provided! The table setup was beautiful, the props the lights the decor. Everything! Our every need was catered to. If you want a certain prop, Louise is bound to have one there for you! We didn't find a single thing she couldn't provide for us! Louise and her team were on hand throughout the day and evening making sure that everything ran smoothly and on time, not to mention she walked me through every step of our day so that I was never unsure about what was happening. Her and her hubby even sorted out a problem that we had with the coach without us even needing to intervene! I could go on for days about how much care and thought Louise, Ayisha and the team put into your day to make everything perfect, but I will leave it at this; You will not find anyone who cares more than Louise does about your wedding going perfectly. We had our wedding here and it was gorgeous. All our guests were wowed by the venue. Plenty parking , secluded for privacy. We had Louise (the owner) present through the entire day ensuring smooth running of the planned day , communicating and coordinating with the othet vendors supplying us that day. We had the best day here . The marquee is beautiful itself but there is also a pond with beautiful countryside views surrounding. Just perfect. I would highly recommend as the venue is beautiful,dreamy and speak for itself but also because how smooth and delightful the dealing was with Louise.

The most amazing venue with 1st class service for my sons wedding on Saturday. From the time of booking, through cancellation due to covid, right through to picking up the cake on the Sunday morning, Louise & her staff went above & beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Louise done an amazing job, and I will be forever grateful for how amazing the venue was. I gave her free reign and just said I wanted a more rustic look, and the rest is all down to her. me an my husband more or less just had to turn up on the day, which was perfect for me because I have no idea what or where to have even begun. How bloody amazing does this look though? Louise will now always be part of our lives ❤️

Beautiful place, staff were amazing. Would give it 5 🌟 but had a little bit of trouble getting from car to door as I'm in a wheelchair, might think about tarmac up by the door, instead of the gravel. Other than that loved the place.

Wedding day on the 21/08/2021 Louise Carl and the team were absolutely amazing. They work so hard in the run up and kept us sane! The day was beautiful , couldn't have asked for any more!

OMG. A very special day made magical by the owner and her team. The weather was perfect, seating and setting was exquisite. The venue is stunning with panaromic views and gorgeous facilities. Everything went like clockwork from arrival to departure. My daughter was supposed to get married last year but COVID stopped it. Louise pulled every stop out to make her day perfect. The food was delicious and plentyful. Celiac and vegan were catered for and the deserts were scrumptious. Everyone was welcomed warmly and all the staff walked the extra mile. Friendly, curtious professional through and through. So we have had a jumping over the broomstick wedding last year, the official bit 2021 and next year a full on party back at Lakeside. I've been trying for a while to put into words how amazing lakeside and Louise at lakeside is. We had our wedding day there on 26.06.21 and it was honestly incredible. Planning a wedding during a global pandemic was not easy but Louise helped us navigate our way through and was there for us every step of the way. Whether it was contacting suppliers for us or thinking of new ideas so that our day wouldn't feel or look like a covid wedding, nothing was too much trouble for her or her team. Also she covers every single detail of the day, there is literally no stone un turned! She makes you feel like you're wedding is the only wedding in the world and cares so much that the day is perfect for you. The venue and grounds are absolutely stunning and so many guests told us how beautiful it all looked. We got married outside in front of the lake and it just took my breath away as I walked down the aisle. The food was incredible and plenty of it and again, many of our guests told us how lovely it tasted! The day itself just run so smoothly thanks to all the staff and was the best day of ours lives. Lakeside and Louise will always have a special place in our hearts and I feel like we've gained a good friend in the process of our wedding planning. I would have no hesitation recommending people get married here or have any event here because they will make sure you have the most special day ever. We held our wedding at Lakeside in June 2021 and we couldn't be happier at how the day went. We booked in 2019, not only for how beautiful the venue is but for the amazing things we'd heard about Louise. She was incredible with us from the first day and made our special day, held in the middle of a pandemic, a truly memorable occasion! She was always on hand to answer any questions that we had throughout the planning process and her attention to detail made sure we had the best day. The staff at Lakeside were brilliant, despite working through current restrictions and the wedding breakfast catering was beautiful. Our guests were certainly very happy! The perfect venue for any event! Can not believe how lucky my now wife and I were in finding this hidden gem of a venue. The setting is so beautiful and calm. Louise worked tirelessly to make our wedding the day we wanted. I wish I could mention everything but I'd end up writing a book. All her recommended vendors were incredible too. The only thing I feel bad about is the fact words can't do Louise and her team at Lakeside justice. We can't recommend Lakeside enough and are looking for excuses to have another visit.

We had a wonderful day as the weather was perfect. The pre wedding bits we're fine. Bit the main wedding breakfast was not as described on tj meneu. To say poor is me being polite. Lovely people, bit they don't know how to cook in my opinion and in the opion of my guests

Beautuful location for my parents diamond wedding anniversary do. Stunningly dressed marquee over looking the lake. The best fish I have ever tasted in my life , everyone said the same . Everything at the venue was structured but very relaxed and friendly.if you are planning a Wedding this is a must venture.you will not be disappointed. Lots of ideas and many contributors to talk to.it was brilliant.we got a lot from our visit.

A gorgeous place to be even in a gale and Thunderstorms. Lovely staff and you can tell it's a family run business. Just don't rely on dragon taxis to get you home. So many horror stories about them leaving people stranded .

Louise the venue owner is THE BEST person to help you through your wedding journey from booking up until the big day and beyond. She lives and breathes weddings and will help your wedding visions become a reality. The time, effort and energy she will put into your wedding planning will make you feel like you are the only wedding she has on all year, a real personal touch. For us this was the first (and hopefully only!) time that we’ll be planning a wedding and so found it hard to know where to start, but Louise helped us through it all and was always there when we needed her. She would be happily be replying to our many many questions well into the evenings without a second thought or grumble. She’s always bubbling with ideas which we loved and absolutely enhanced our day (even commissioning our own wedding cocktail!), but would always at the end of the day make sure that everything was how you wanted it to be. A lot of credit to the rest of the staff at the venue as well for setting up and being brilliant on the day. The set up of the venue and ability to be married and have the reception and food all taken care of by one place was a massive plus for us. Our package also meant that we would be able to use any of the different decorations and table decor which they have in stock - great if you don’t want 10 versions of the same table decorations stored in your attic for the next several years! The package suited us perfectly with many more things included which I could list but I don’t think I could fit in one post! Overall a lot of things taken care of meant much less stress on our part. We wish we could give more than 5 stars and don’t think we could ever repay Louise and the Lakeside staff for making our big day so special, hopefully this goes some way to doing that. This place gets better every time I visit. The food is amazing with different types of cuisine to suit everyone. Not set up the same each time, so a fresh new look for every couple. The staff are friendly and go the extra mile.

Let me start by saying a HUGE THANK YOU to Louise and her team . Our daughter and son in law chose this venue and it didn’t fail our expectations . Louise is great with communication throughout and professional at all times . The venue has many rooms and the surrounding are picturesque . The marquee is so spacious and the dance floor is fabulous . Louise went above and beyond on the day making sure all plans went how they were supposed to . She was an absolute treasure She helped the bride , mother of the bride keeping us calm . We really appreciated that . When my husband and I started planning our wedding, we had no clear idea of what we wanted but we agreed that one of the most crucial things to us was that we felt a rapport with any supplier that we dealt with. After all, these people are sharing the most important day of your lives with you and it's one thing to trust them but another to want them actually there as part of the day! We looked at several venues but as soon as we walked into Lakeside, we knew it was THE ONE. We booked our wedding 2 years in advance and explained to Louise that we were on a tight budget and needed the 2 years to save up. She offered us so many options and alternatives to help us be frugal but as it happened, it was actually more suited to our taste and so we didn't once feel like we missed out on anything. I cannot praise Louise enough....what she does is just magical and the woman works like a machine! She somehow managed to pull out the thoughts and dreams out of my head and put them into the most beautiful setting I've ever seen. I didn't even know what I wanted until I saw it all together and through countless conversations and a blossoming friendship, Louise just knew! She was always at the end of the phone and replies so quickly at no matter what stage of your planning, whether it be 2 years away or 2 days away. She goes above and beyond in getting to know you and has a genuine passion in getting everything perfect just for you and after getting to know Louise, you can see that she would be so upset if she didn't give you that experience. In terms of the actual day, our guests were absolutely gobsmacked at the attentiveness of the staff and the lovely atmosphere created and maintained for the whole day. The food was beautiful and so well organised with so many choices and any dietary requirement catered for with a personal touch. Louise will completely look after you as a bride (and was even on hand to give us some Dutch courage when we needed it). She also goes to the effort of getting to know those closest to you and check on them so you know you don't have to. I could go on all day about the extra little touches but until you experience Lakeside as a Bride, Groom or even a guest, you just cannot appreciate it. We are so happy to say that we had the wedding of our dreams, we paid NOTHING close to what the 'average' wedding costs and we made a friend for life who will always be known as our fairy godmother. I cannot say enough about how fantastic our day was at the lakeside venue!! We knew the second we got to the venue first time that this was the location for us and Louise was the BEST!! She went out of her way to make sure that everything was perfect! She understood exactly what we wanted and made sure that we got it making us feel so relaxed in every situation! I went to Louise with every bump in the road and she had a resolution and an ear to moan into and always advice on what to do! On the day the staff were fantastic!! Nothing was too much even with some fussy guests and guests that hadn't told us about dietary requirements!! They sorted it all and we had comments from all our guests on how fantastic the day went and how delicious the food was! It was above all our expectations! Thank you to Louise and everyone at Lakeside for making our day perfect for us!! ❤️

Our wedding was held held here on 17/11/18 and WHAT a experience, WHAT a day and WHAT VENUE. Louise and Her Team behind her are nothing but amazing. Louise is a modern day wonder women and goes above and beyond to make your day be more than PERFECT.

I highly recommend Lakeside as a wedding venue, me and my husband got married here in August just gone and Louise the owner is amazing nothing is too much trouble and she has such a eye for detail and made our wedding day personal, perfect and breathtakingly beautiful and spot on to what we wanted, food was delicious and all are guests were very happy also my daughter is vegetarian and Her meal was amazing they will provide what ever dietary needs you require and these meals are just as delicious, as a result of having our wedding here we class Louise highly as a friend and keep in touch, she is a amazing lady and as a bride to be Louise will help with anything at anytime she's there to contact, also Louise will point you in the right direction for any other contacts for wedding plans and you won't be disappointed, beautiful venue and amazing person that runs it highly recommend can't thank them enough for our beautiful memories on our wedding day, so bride and groom get booking as Lakeside is definitely a place to get married it is faultless, thank you Lakeside xxx
