Lahori Chaska in Manchester

Delicious food. Especially roti was very soft and tasty. Desi fresh tea was very good.

The food was very old I ate daal mash ( lentil) and alo palak( Spanish) It almost killed me with its hygiene and poisoning. I have ended up in hospital for being food poisoning. I request people no to go there if you do love your self.

Excellent chicken tikka sandwich

Great taste but dint liked the biryani as the rice was not that well cooked and the chicken was so so cooked.

Name is changed to Lahori Nawab .not sure management is the same , taste definitely isn't. They used to have lunch time deals not anymore . Basically currys seem to have same basic taste just vegetables and chicken change . Not special at all

Tried chicken seakh kabab..it was a waste..tooooo muchh spicyyyy...no chicken taste only chilliess taste..

I have tried haleem today. Taste was delicious and very good service. Highly recommended

I bought chicken karahi for lunch as a takeaway, came home, ate some, and then put it in the fridge. I had stomach problems that same night. The next day, when I took it out of the fridge, the curry was spoiled. It smelled bad and was inedible, so I threw it in the bin.

Very pathetic place we ordered one chicken karahi and one lamb karahi with 2 portions of seek kebab the man who was on till with black mustache his behaviour was very mean and their staff hygiene was very bad, seekh kebabs are dry and very ash and their meat and chicken was also ash like was very old stored in the freezer no taste just oil and oil and they give us lamb chops mistakenly so we decided to keep them because they gave us in the stating first serving was wrong so what you can expect after eating we thrice of them got sore throat because of dirty food, i am not D grading their business Allah knows you can check my all reviews i think this is the bad one but honest, at last they were not giving us the bill the till guy just told me verbally the amount because he knew that they have served the old dirty food to us after that i demanded the bill but i will not sue them if they improve but u am not going there anymore. Paya curry tastes good but very stingy portion 1 piece of paya in the whole tub with not much meat on it. The roghni naan are Nice, the seekh kebab are terrible wouldn't have them ever again. wouldn't visit these again unfortunately. Also not a disabled friendly entrance to restaurant.

I ordered 1 keema pratha and 2 alu prath 1 chana 2 desi tea felt like drinking hot water Pratha was so in spices but zero in taste and lahori chana was so much in oil

Taste and quality needs to be improved

Haleem wasn’t satisfifying it didn’t had extra lemon with it and didn’t tasted nice chicken was too less in haleem.

Got lamb curry with 2 chappaties, full of oil and bones, even the bag was full of oil. Never again

Very delicious haleem and roghni naans,freshly made,haleem was perfect with perfect balance of spices,murgh chane was good too,quantity of chicken was less but taste was too good,roghni naans are freshly made and very light.i really enjoyed every single dish

If you are after authentic Pakistani taste, this is a must try. It's budget friendly but no compromise on taste. Their paya dish was right up the spot. Halwa Puri though was not that great.

What can I say! The best lamb karahi I have ever had, it tasted as if it was home made, proper desi style. This was complimented by the fluffiest roti ever! To finish the evening off I had a cup of desi chai, not to be confused with karak chai, a nice desi home style cup of chai. This place is a hidden gem. Well worth a try as everything was spot on. Excellent food topped with excellent customer service.

Delicious Naan Chaney with typical Lahore style

Asked 3 times no yoghurt sauce and they didn't care. They were just eating and chilling around. Said 5 minutes took 20 while I was watching them joke around and relax. If someone asks you specifically no yoghurt sauce means they can't eat it. Paid for food to throw it away.

I been there few times but for breakfast Haleem and Rogni are the best in here.

The harisa was excellent and the chicken curry was good but Rogni kulchas were very hard like stones. I don't know why they were so hard,may be they were not fresh. So, guys, when you order takeaway, make sure the Naans, Rotis and Rogni kulchas are freshly cooked.thanks

Food is good, but they take time preparing food. Order chappati it takes them 30min.

We order halwa puri omelette paratha nihari rooti roti tea lasi n tea the food was nice n yummy . Puri is bit oily but yummy a lot if I come to Manchester again love to come here for desi breakfast 🍳 👍

First time didnt expect the taste of food here its quite good. Simple cheap but tasty food. For a £5 a meal cant go wrong with that.

Authentic spiced, fresh and all flavour , and everything is freshly prepared so expect a little wait. But trust me, the food is worth it. I've not tasted many places better outside of Lahore.

The worst customer service ever! Food was horrible. Chicken karhai wasn't fresh. Ordered lamb kebabs but gave chicken even after asking second time. Chips fryer, the oil was very dark and dirty. Don't understand how it's running. Will never go again.

I tried Rogni Naans from here, no doubt Pakistani style and taste in these.

Order half KG fresh chicken karahi. They give me normal regular chicken curry with dripping oil in 12 miuntes of making order fresh chiken karahi takes atleast 25 Minutes to prepare.and also i feel like it less than weight it should be with leg pcs missing .but the taste was not bad. but not like lahori chicken karahai att all.

They are not the best but they are not very pricey too. They are just an ordinary Pakistani style and quality food venue.

It was really dirty place plus the staff was cleaning the floor and bins when they was open for orders and dine in. It should have been done before you are open for customers.Tables were dirty. Serious hygiene issues. Disgusting. Food was served cold. Untrained staff. Poor customer service. Definitely Would NOT go or order again.

Ordered vegetarian curries via Uber eats. All dripping with oil, look like dog food, extremely salty and smell puts me off. Spent over 42 pounds for it and all going in a bin. I am not hungry anymore...

The lamb curry is absolutely delicious I had it sooo many times The salad actually is very basic Just lettuce onions cucumber and sometimes carrots no tomatoes...

If you can look through filthy seating and very ill-mannered staff then you'll enjoy the food. We had Nihari, roghani qulcha and halwa poori. Nihari was delicious with very well done meat. Qulche were amazing. Halwa was tasty, poori were very oily and you could tell that oil hasn't been changed in ages. But still they were soft. Channa salan was okish. Portion sizes were very good. Takeaway is the way to go with these guys I guess. Overall food was good but do not expect much other than that.

Food way below standard, also male staff seem to be sexist as I got a measly portion compared to the guy next to me!

20 minutes after l ordered by Deliveroo, they called me to say what l ordered wasn't available. Then l had to spend 30 min dealing with Deliveroo's customer service agents to get to contact them. 1 hour after my order l managed to receive my refund...not recommended at all

I was in this restaurant yesterday, dirty place , I buy a Kashmiri tea (pink tea) , I never had a disgusting tea like this , it's was only milk , no taste , no cardamom taste on a pink tea, I will never comeback here . Also when I come and wanted to order , the workers was talking , playing with phone , not respect . I really don't recommend this place , fist and last time I go on this restaurant

A good place for Desi style food. Good food Mostly aimed at takeaways. But is possible to eat in. But they do have the attitude of a desi style place abroad.

Went in with family wanted lamb kebabs didn't have any mostly chicken few of us don't eat chicken so had to leave without eating all though it did say on menu lamb kebabs available

Great traditional Pakistani type food. Well worth a visit. Staff are pleasant. Food is good. Go see for yourselves. Essentially a takeaway with seating . But it's worth eating the food when it is hot and fresh.

I was recommended to go here because my Freind kept banging on how good the food was. So after few month I thought check the place out. The very first impression you get is how dirty the place is, in all honestly didn't feel comfortable at all. The food was very average also. Message to the owner, give your place a good clean. They say first impression is the last. Had I not been invited I would have probably walked out

I don’t often leave reviews but my family were looking for a desi breakfast. A small low-key restaurant that we stumbled on. The food was so tasty we are going back today. The desi chai was best I’ve had in Manchester. The staff member who served us was so friendly and we were incredibly comfortable. Thank you we will be back

Total fraud! Extremely poor food, very arrogant service, food unhealthy and unhygienic. I was in a hurry and they gave incomplete order while charged more. 2 items were missing from my bill order. Can’t believe they will be so dishonest! They wasted my 60-70 minutes for preparing the order but when i opened 2 items were missing means they charged £5 extra. I was in a rush and was transiting from Scotland to London via Manchester. It was our very bad-luck that the search engine showed this horrible restaurant. They should be ashamed of their very poor service. If you wanna waste money, your time and bad taste then you can choose this pathetic restaurant. Shame on you Lahori Chaska😡

Would rate it 0 stars if it was possible. Absolutely rude staff had to wait almost one hour for the food and wasn't told that it would take so long, plus we received the wrong food and had some food missing. I ordered 6 plain nans but instead got 3 plain nans and 3 Roghanai for which I had to pay more, and I also ordered 2 chips but didn't receive it in the order even though I was charged for it and it was written down on the receipt.

Yummy place to eat. Had Halwa puri which was amazing especially the channa. Loved it! Prices are truly awesome. Recommended to visit in Manchester with Family.

Lovely authentic Pakistani food

Walked in today to check out the menu. Never been in before & always wanted to try it as it smells so good, but a guy behind the counter near where food is no doubt cooked and/or served from...was picking his nose. TMI I know but he was rummaging far up both nostrils...no word of a lie he looked me right in the eyes..but continued!!! Seems he didn't care I saw him. I told my friend we're outta here! Won't be going in now ever, total put off 🤢 Sorry if I put anyone else off who likes it here, but I had to be honest, not a great 1st impression atall.

Absolutely disgusting food - was violently sick after ordering from here. The hygiene standards are appalling and the food has no flavour and is very dry - please do not come to this place! I can't express enough how disgusting it is.

Absolutely disgusting. £25 wasted on a delivered filthy, oily food with 2inch of oil dripping in the bag. I called the shop and the staff cannot speak English. They kept lying to me that a manager will call me to discuss. No one called. The lady who picked up the phone twice was rude and put the phone down. Not ordering from them again.

Splendid The Original taste of desi food!

Just went in for chapatis. The guy who served me was okay. But the guys behind the counter need to look at what they are doing in front of them rather than staring at who is coming and going in the restaurant.

I've never been so disappointed with food. Thought take food home for iftari, when opened, ordered nihari got paya. The kebabs were off, the charga was so dry. Not recommended.

Below Average food and service. Waiter was attention his phone more then customer. I think he was on game. He was not very happy to served. Lamb chops and sheek kabab was strong spice and salty and too much lemon 🍋 juice. Lamb curry was good and roti was nice. Price was good if it is nice chops and kabab.
