This is a lovely cafe in an excellent location. An ideal place to come before or after a walk along the seawall. The menu is surprisingly varied and enticing for a cafe. It's not just your usual breakfast choices. They have a lunch menu, Sunday roasts, and it seemed that there were specials on offer, too! We enjoyed a table for two overlooking the Thames and didn't have to wait long at all for service and food to arrive! Our waiter was great, and the food was excellent. We were lucky to be there on such a sunny morning, enjoying the views and warming sunshine. Highly recommend, and I look forward to our next walk and cafe visit!

Lovely place for Lunch, my only complaint would be the refusal to purchasing a child’s meal for myself and our one year old daughter as a sharing plate (I was not that hungry and she certainly could not have eaten a whole child’s meal!!). Aside from that, totally recommend!

Refused us because we had a baby in a buggy who was sleeping and said we can come in but the buggy must stay outside. I think that’s horrible how they’ll deny someone because they’ve got a baby told us we can sit outside I told them to forget it as it’s cold and don’t want my baby outside. Makes me wonder if they’ll deny someone in a wheelchair too stuck up snobby establishment would recommend to everyone to avoid

After growing up on canvey Island and hearing so much about this place I decided to give it a try. Just had a coffee and a chocolate brownie which was fine. Nice views overlooking the Thames estuary.

Delicious full English breakfast, with great views out over the estuary. Maybe a little expensive, but breakfast really was good, so treat yourself once in a while. FYI, parking here is an a paid and display cark park.

We actually went for an evening meal at the restaurant above the Labworth cafe, called Savor... Absolutely scrumptious ... As always...

Have been here many times over the years and love the breakfasts, we had lunch here today, I had the burger meal that seemed very Greasy and without much flavour (but that is my opinion) my wife had chicken thigh meal, she said it didn't taste nice and that chicken was slimy, I looked and agreed and food was taken back to the kitchen, with an apology, the manager came to our table and politly explained that this is how meal should look and assured us that it had been prepared correctly, and i have no reason to dissbelieve him but, it didn't look very appetising. When we came to pay, we were not charged for the chicken meal and again apologised to. We would definitely eat here again but will stick to the breakfasts as they are superb.

Perfect cafe to stop at after a long walk along the Canvey sea wall. The view of the sea from the windows is relaxing, calming and awesome.

We went to this lovely restaurant to celebrate my partner's birthday. The food was the best we have had and the staff really friendly. Lovely atmosphere and well worth a visit for a special occasion, or just for a nice evening meal. Highly recommended

A bit more expensive than other establishments but the food was of a very high standard and the service was very good but in no way hurried. The atmosphere was of a romantic kind. While looking over the estuary we went in February so a bit dark and not much to see. The place to go on special occasions. Below asks what I recommend Food is a but more upmarket than below

Seats about 40 we were there at lunch time so had to wait 20 mins. Great service friendly staff and great portion size. All seats have a sea view. Would definitely return soon.

What a gem. Amazing service and food. Lovely and clean and tidy. Beautiful views over the estary towards Kent. Well worth a visit. Earlier in the morning was going to Southend but no way of paying for car parking. Machine broken so no cards or cash. Tried on phone, website rubbish. Goodbye Southend, hello Canvey Island restaurant. Parking very accessible, toilets on seafront. Lovely walk along the sea. Well done to the owner, the cooks, waiters and waitresses. We have had lovely time. Restored our faith in many ways. Good old fashioned ways.

Went for a walk along the sea wall and decided to have a light lunch Glad we stopped at the Labworth cafe. Very friendly staff and clean with spotless toilets. Wide choice of food including vegetarian and seasonal desserts. We hope to return when the weather is warmer.

Lovely food, lovely staff and owner who take the time to talk to you and make you feel welcome and valued. The view over the estuary is very relaxing and it's you can take a nice walk along the promenade afterwards. Highly recommended going here for lunch.

Hi well this cafe is a restaurant as it is the best in Canvey Island right on the sea front always a great menu and lots of specials to choose from really lovely staff always very friendly and treat you with respect and when you look out of the window some days it looks like the Mediterranean Sea something not too be missed that's the food not the sea view but just remember that outside when the union jack is flying the restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday enjoy

The best Cafe on Canvey Seafront.

Have used the Cafe two to three times a week, to have two pots of tea and biscuits, to day told by a waitress that you should have tea outside if you not buying a meal, made us feel that only wanted our custom when the Cafe is quiet, I feel the waitress had no idea how to talk to paying customers, The Cafe needs to put up a poster on front door letting customers know there is a spend amount before being seated, pity but that's what you get in a cost of living Crisis business owners trying to get more money in and losing customers at the same time.

I can't express how lovely it is to sit with the windows open looking over the sea eating a fabulous breakfast from here. The staff are so polite and happy and food gorgeous, Its very rare to get both of these positives in the same place these days. Well done all!!

Hired out, the Savor Restaurant upstairs for my mum's funeral. It was great. The food was amazing, it was freshly cooked and absolutely delicious, we had three courses and I recommend the lamb chops 👍the staff were helpfull, everything ran perfectly. The views were of the sea and the beach gave everyone something nice to focus on . It was lovely and I will remember a good day rembering my mum's life . I thank all the staff for a wonderful job they do 😊

My wife and I love coming here for lunch (and breakfast if we get up in time ). The food is always fresh, hot and served with a smile. We've been coming here for about 15 years and feel as if some of the staff are almost family. My favourite dish is the Hunters Chicken. Oh - and the Lattes are great.

Went there on 25/4 as an early Mother's day treat with my daughter and my husband. Food was beautiful I had the chicken and ribs combo. The staff were very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Would absolutely recommend and can't wait too go again. Great views of the Estuary on a sunny day.
