We booked the restaurant for my Mums birthday, absolutely fantastic, everyone loved the food, the staff were lovely, and the kids loved the outdoor area. Will definitely recommend and return ourselves :)

A friend and I visited on Friday evening and we were made to feel very welcome on arrival and had a choice of where we could sit. Table seat everytime for me, if possible. The food was 'chefs kiss' 😋 I chose the salmon risotto and tiramisu for dessert and could not fault it. Our waiter was very friendly, helpful and attentive. Will definitely be booking another table again soon.

Nothing was too much trouble for Antonio and his team during our Christmas Day lunch at La Rocca. Our family of 14 had a really lovely time, in this recently, beautifully refurbished restaurant, with plenty of really good food and the very best service. Thank you La Rocca team and see you again.

We had dinner here last night. Could not fault the staff, very welcoming and friendly. Place lacks atmosphere. The restaurant closes at 9.30pm which I can understand on a school night but on a Saturday night perhaps should stay open a bit later as we felt at 10pm we had outstayed our welcome and it was time to go. The food was quite expensive although I did have a lovely penne arrabiata but other than that the food was average. My friend ordered a lasagne which had very little meat content and she had to check if she had been given a vegetarian option! We mentioned this to the waiter when he cleared the table who removed the cost of one of the crème brûlées from our bill. To summarise, lovely staff but food average and overpriced so we won’t be eating there again.

Had a lovely lunch with my family before dropping them at Bristol airport. Italian themed restaurant with an extensive menu. Lovely decor and furnishings inside. Very friendly and helpful staff made our lunch really pleasant. I would recommend this place for fans of Italian food. You won't be disappointed.

i just tried this restaurant again now its changed hands ,its now la rocca .not only has it changed hands but they have altered the prices ...nearly £10 for kids chicken nuggets, chips and drink .adults pints £6 and over no wonder the car park was empty .we were a party of 4 adults and 1 child 4 pizzas ,6 pints and a water £114 never again what a rip off

Fantastic family friendly restaurant. All of us felt very welcomed from the moment we stepped in. The decor and atmosphere is simply fantastic. As for food we couldn’t complement it enough…. Definitely worth spreading the word around and coming back soon !

Second time coming here and food and service is always very friendly and welcoming. The food is fabulous. Its just down the road from us and has become our favourite little go too.

Lovely meal here last night. Proper Italian food (with proper Italian portions!). Very tasty with every item on the plate seasoned and presented well. Great friendly atmosphere with enough room between tables so you're not listening to your neighbours' conversation. Staff were amazing and made sure we had everything we wanted. No need to go into town for great Italian food anymore!

We were down Bristol area for a funeral, and this was chosen for the wake. Lovely atmosphere and staff.

My food was good, but the pizza my husband had was a bit dry and hard to cut. Service was rather slow, and there was hardly anyone else there, so the atmosphere was nonexistent!

Lovely visit on Sunday for tasty lunch with friends. Everyone enjoyed their food, I feel like I should have chosen something different for my main as I was bit underwhelmed by the Pork Saltimbocca but the Dauphinoise potatoes were to die for, and everyone else on our table was very happy with Lasagna and Lamb Roast. Definitely had food envy. The menu is very extensive so I will definitely be going back to taste some of their other lovely options. I had cheeseboard for dessert which was nice and generous, chocolate fondant and banoffee pie also got rave reviews.

Enjoyed the food and service excellent. It’s a family restaurant/pub with garden and play area.

£15 for pint and glass of wine. Not justified. Sorry don’t like to leave negative reviews but won’t be back

The food in La Campagne at The Winford Arms is excellent and the team who work there are really personable and patient (takes us a while to get to look at the menu as we are so busy chatting).

Went out lunchtime to celebrate mums 80th birthday, 9 of us. Food is delicious, large menu and 2/3 course options, big portions, staff were friendly, restaurant is spotless, clearing and cleaning tables when visitors left. It has a lovely atmosphere. Fantastic food and service. I would never have thought to visit until I had a recommendation. Drove past hundreds of times and presumed it would be boring pub food in a boring pub next to the A38. The cooking is exceptional though, and there's a lot of outside space for summer and children. Really very good

Lovely Sunday Lunch. Beef & Lamb was medium/rare, which is perfect for me. Ample quantity of food. Only suggestion is potatoes could've been a little crisper. Ladies were friendly & smiley...... all in all, a pleasant experience. Will definitely recommend & will be back

The poor staff had to deal with lots of complaints about how cold it was in the restaurant as well as serving people. The dishes were OK, nothing to write home about - pizzas are pizzas! Trying to get out onto the main road around rush hour is a nightmare, best to go later on in the evening.

Great quality food. At a great price Not the cheapest in the area but well worth the cost. Service excellent couldn't fault any of the multiple dishes served on our table of 9. Will definitely return as I am local.

Completely different to when we was there 3 years ago, very nicely done out, don't expect you basic ham egg and chip or even just a sandwich, it is all Italian a lot pricier than before, but food was very good and only table service

Added service charge on the bill well over the top £33 and I bet the staff only get half of it. Also had to book our cars onto a screen or be charged for parking.

Served a pint of Doom Bar which was like mud, extremely cloudy and tasted awful, barmen handed it to me and said "enjoy". Took one taste and walked out

Had a family meal to celebrate a 16th birthday, was really busy so that's a good sign. Had around 20 of us but the food still all came out together. Good choice on menu and tasted great. Large outside area if the weather suits and play area for kids to burn off energy. Definitely gonna go again good experience.

We went to La Campagna, Winford Arms after my sister’s funeral on Monday, 18 March. The food was excellent, the service excellent. We were made to feel so welcome and really looked after. Thank you once again to the staff and manager.

I have been told by locals that this would be worth a try, staff, surroundings and beer very good although a little expensive (£6 for a pint) but was quite disappointed with the steaks, they were not cheap at £20+ per meal for a ‘rib eye’ and had more ‘gristle’ than you get in a ‘rump’. I would try it again as the wife’s meal was very tasty but I would give the steaks a wide berth.
