DELICIOUS. Sheiks, ice cream, delicious chocolate cake. Service very professional, nice and conscientious. Minus that there is no toilet. But really everything on a high level. Great atmosphere.

Lovely little cafe. The flavours and range were great but some flavours we had were slightly underwhelming and others slightly overwhelming. But I cannot fault the cleanliness, service, location or politeness of the staff. Would've been 5/5 if the flavours were balanced across all our ice creams

Inviting!! Exceptional service from staff, who were friendly and polite. One point that was noticeable, was how they sincerely acknowledged their regular customers, which made our experience even more enjoyable.

Beautiful, freshly made baguettes. Had tuna/sweetcorn and cajun chicken, which were stunning. Cakes looked amazing too but didn't have time unfortunately.

Wife and me don't often get out together and had a lovely lunch here again. Always a great chat with the family that run this place and #PendreCafe next door, wonderful people. Wife can't stand butter cream and went for the Vegan Jaffa Cake working off principle that a vegan cake wouldn't contain buttercream! Anyway, we realise the cakes are often bought in ( could be mistaken!) but it was absolutely delicious and I am under strict instructions to bring a piece home whenever I am running errands in Cardigan!

Wide choice of snack options and fillings. Plenty of cold and hot drinks to choose from. My chai latte made with oat "milk" was gorgeous, hubby enjoyed his lemon and passion fruit iced tea, and our friend had compliments about his peach smoothie. Hubby loved his bacon buttered toastie, and my veggie tortilla wrap (tomatoes and cheese) was flavoursome. Hubby and his friend returned later in the day for ice-creams in preference to other ice cream vendors.

An Italian themed cafe in a soulless building which seems to have lots of choice but it’s all a little bit disappointing. No customer toilets so had to trek and find one while our order was prepared. The coffee was not quite warm enough and weak, plus had to pay extra for decaf. A little attention to detail would make this cafe so much better.

Lovely place and staff were excellent

My husband and I bought a bacon sandwich b and a coffee Sunday morning which cost £14! We weren’t given any sugar so went to look for sine as we weren’t told it was by counter and the bacon sandwich was in cheap white bread which was freezing cold, very doughy and was most definitely the worst bacon sandwich we’ve ever had (and we’ve had a good few!) no choice of brown or white bread or toasted! Just a total rip off for £14. Anyone wanting a bacon roll and a coffee cross the road go to Greggs!

Fantastic Ice-cream shop and cafe. Plenty of great flavours, cakes are impressive and very tasty. There's a good range of things to eat. Seating inside and out. The staff were great we enjoyed our visits there.

I love this place. Ice creams that make your mouth water before eating any and thier ice cream milkshakes are absolutely awesome.

Excellent food with a warm welcome.

2x meals ordered (salad boxes, one w/quiche, one w/ham). Spent £12 to receive 2 completely different portions, on top of unprepared veg- I honestly thought I'd chipped a tooth to discover a lump of grit I had to spit out. Every piece of lettuce was covered, put me off my food completely. And I didn't even ask for Beetroot.. I went in to explain the issue and the young girl, (daughter-in law of said business)she was full of attitude and back chat. They do not know the meaning of customer service, I will not be going again! Oh and yes, I've done Silver Service too👋 but an apology does go a long way.

Came here a week ago, both Michael and Nia made us feel very welcome and didn’t rush us despite us getting there so close to closing time. Lovely people and the ice cream was perfect, would definitely revisit if I was to ever return to Cardigan, wish you all the best guys! 😊 (From the anniversary couple)

We absolutely loved it here today. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind to us. The food was delicious, would definitely recommend. We just walked passed one day and so glad we did. Lovely talking to the staff and what they did for us for extremely kind and so lovely. Can't wait to eat the chocolate cheesecake they gave us!

Called for tea and cakes, tea was nice decided to have some cakes because they looked really good, however, the scones with jam and cream weren't buttered so were a little dry, the Victoria sponges looked really nice but were very heavy and dry, probably one the worst Victoria sponges I've eaten The atmosphere was nice with Italian music playing, the place was clean and the staff were friendly and cheerful!

We enjoyed the amazing service here again. My kids loved the fudge and the unicorn ice cream. The espresso is beautiful, smooth and strong.

The only place we could find in Cardigan who would feed us after 4pm. The guy serving was very helpful, even bringing us more chairs to sit outside. Food and drink hit the spot too

Great for breakfast, we sat outside and enjoyed bacon sandwiches and sausage sandwiches with tea and coffee. We were served quickly and the staff are very friendly, we didn't even mind when they accidentally put sauce on a sandwich that we didn't want it on because the waitress apologised and it was quickly rectified. We all make mistakes, it's the way the staff approached it that demonstrated their excellent customer service 👍🏻 Thank you for helping make the last morning of our trip a good one!

Ate here and next door at the pendre cafe a few times on our visit to Cardigan. Great people working here. Could not do enough for us. Very welcoming and a credit to Cardigan. Lush ice cream, tea cakes and sundaes.

Sitting here at La Fontana enjoying the best coffee we've had all holiday. Bought a hot chocolate for my little boy and it came beautifully presented in a glass cup with an full size cookie on the side. Possibly they took pity on us as we were sat outdoors on a windy showery day, but customer service here is excellent. Its our second visit (we came for lunch last year whilst in holiday ), and it's great to see the food, drinks and customer service are still as good as ever despite the Covid-19 precautions they have put in place. Definitely 5 stars!!

What a lovely little cafe we found - amazing ice creams and their carrot cake was one of the nicest I have ever eaten. Needless to say we had to go back a few more times during our stay in Cardigan! Friendly staff too!

This is my favorite place to go in Cardigan when we visit, I absolutely love getting an ice cream from here. The staff are so friendly, some of the friendliest people I have ever met. And there is a great variety of ice cream to choose from. Definitely go here if you're in Cardigan!

Friendly staff but no Vegan options

This is the place to go after having fish and chips at the "Pendre Cafe", next door. Excellent coffee and a wide range of delicious ice-cream (or cakes, if you desire), served by friendly, well turned-out, helpfull staff. It's always a pleasure to eat at the "Pendre Cafe" but this was the first time we visited early enough to visit "La Fontana" before they closed. We're looking forward to the next time.

We had a lovely meal next door and so decided to have coffee and cakes in La Fontana. A wise decision as it was vey good. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The owners could not have been more helpful. Great place to eat home made delights. Cakes and desserts to temp the devil

Split a banana split between me, my wife and my toddler. Absolutely delicious, could choose what flavour ice cream we wanted and the price was excellent. The staff were really friendly and I'm definitely going again.

Not wanting a big meal found La Fontana was just what we needed. We enjoyed what we had and went back the next day. It is run by a very friendly family.

Nice little coffee stop on the corner. My partner was impressed by the way the woman made her latte with soya milk with proper froth on top and loved my little macchiato cup and the place was clean and tidy couldn't fault any of it so thank you :)

Lovely coffee shop. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Americano coffee is very nice as is the espresso. Would recommend this place if you want a quick coffee and snack. Even ice cream on a nice day.

Called in for a 2pm lunch to find everything either gone or not available. Ended up having coffees and ice creams.

Used this restaurant for a quick meal before a live screening at Mwldan. The member of staff carried on a conversation with her friend and the food we ordered was poorly presented and badly cooked. The worst pizza I have ever eaten. This may have been an off day, but I would not be prepared to give a second chance.

What a delightful little place 😀 I thought it was an ice cream parlour, which is nice of course, but it is so much more 😀The room was full! I met some friends who were munching away on a lovely looking lasagne with a very nice salad side 😀 and there is lots os baguettes, soups, salads and a host of other menu options. And of course: very good coffee and lots of ice cream flavours for dessert 😀 gleamin' 😀

Great little place at the end of the road. We had a baguette and a milkshake each and was quite reasonable. Vert tasty food and the staff were lovely. Tables outside to eat but we went to the local park to eat.

I bring my children here on a regular basis for the tasty milkshakes and ice cream. The staff are always lovely and polite and very patient with children who cannot decide which flavour they want! I'd highly recommend a visit as the coffee and cakes are also tasty.

Lots and lots of Flavours to choose from, great value. Seating inside too if you wanted to eat as it offers some food. Ferrero Rocher ice cream was amazeballs. Yum

Great little Italian stop for a snack or just a delicious coffee. There are many coffee stops in Cardigan but try to come here if there's space!

Popped in with my mother for a quick coffee, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The place was spotless, the staff attentive, and the coffee hot and delicious. Just go and enjoy it!

Board full of panni's I had chicken pesto and goats cheese it was dry and bland, I had an early grey tea asked for lemon got looked like I had ask for the till register then just said no and walked off. Everyone else was paying at the end I believe because we was English we paid up front "hardly going to run off"

This place does seem to be an ice cream parlour first and foremost.I went for a light lunch and ordered tomato soup and a coffee. I was offered a choice of white or brown bread with my soup. I am certain that I asked for brown but I got white. This wasn't too much of a problem but the bread was just normal white sliced and not a nice bread roll as I had expected. I think the soup was a cream of tomato from a can it certainly tasted as though it was. The owner did seem to know all his customers by name which was impressive! Perhaps with the the same amount of attention to detail in the kitchen the food could be great.

Stopped here for some Coffee's (adults) and Ice Cream (children).Excellent coffee. My mother enjoys a very weak coffee with lots of milk and this was delivered with extra milk if she needed some more. Rarely does she get what she asks for.Our 4 year old loved the ice cream and we enjoyed seating outside in the sunshine.I would recommend this cafe.

We stopped here for a small lunch on two separate occasions while in the area because they have tables outside so we could stop with our dog and it looked so lovely. The first time we both had croissants with cheese and ham, which were very tasty and filled our hunger gap nicely. I had a banana milkshake with mine which was lovely (and i was impressed that the lady serving us was able to make one for me even though the milkshakes are made from whatever flavour ice creams they have and they didnt have a banana flavour that day, it was still very tasty). The waitress also provided us with a bowl of water for our dog and she was very friendly and helpful. The second visit was much the same, helpful staff who talked us through the salad options. We both had salads which we enjoyed and another milkshake for me. Would have loved to go back another time to try out their ice cream and sundae's etc but that wasnt to be. Place seemed very clean too. Would recommend.
