La Fonda de Maria in Haringey

Lovely place to feel the south american atmosphere! It's not only frequented by Colombians. The whole south american community can be seen around!! Large option of food and beverage!;

Fuimos a probar la Fonda de Maria para un almuerzo encantador y soleado domingo y pasamos un rato muy agradable. Hicimos dos entrantes, langostinos y cheviche mixto, 2 platos principales, lubinas y carne y no había espacio para el postre, por desgracia... todo nos encantó y sin duda volveremos para probar otros platos que sonaba muy sabroso!!

Nice range of South American dishes. We had nachos to start, 2 main courses and a bottle of wine and paid £66. There was a good atmosphere in there, it was busy and the service was good.

La comida era deliciosa y los tamaños para servir son grandes (aunque por el precio, era exactamente la porción que esperaría), sin embargo, tuvimos que esperar mucho tiempo para nuestra comida y en un punto esperamos 25 minutos para una jarra de margarita, y la camarera me olvidé de traer mi postre. Se agregaron cargo por servicio a nuestra mesa de 2 sin mencionar, y estaban haciendo obras de construcción muy chillona en algún lugar en el restaurante, que era molesto. Eso sí, no había papel higiénico en los baños. Es una pena que los deliciosos y auténticos platos son tan decepción por el medio ambiente.

went with a group friends, very bad customer service, poor communication between staff, we were moved table then by another member staff told that the table had been reserved.

Muy Lucky tener tropezamos con esta joya en uno de mis favoritos de los sibaritas Londres cazas, Stockwell! Probamos las empanadas, corteza de cerdo vientre, gambas al ajillo y choruzo seguido de de marisco y carne sankocho de cazuela! Hacen unos cócteles elaborados con frutas sur americanos. Y a un precio muy razonable.

I visited the restaurant with my husband and my son, my husband order bandeja paisa and the meet look re-heated, the rest was very dry, when we complain they offer a new pice of meet that was better but the rest was less than averaged, I ordered a cazuela de mariscos, it was very oily and the seafood did not teased fresh.... Waitress were not very friendly and their appearance wasn't 'tidy'.....Never coming back :(

Lovely atmosphere inside, and very nice deco. Worth visiting in summer as well as it has a nice patio-garden. Congratulations to the chef for the quality of the food and the attention of waiters.... Very tasty Latin American cooking here. I had flattened fried plantain with shredded meat for a starter - amazingly tasty. Main course I had grilled chicken, beef and pork steak - cooked to perfection. Really quite smart inside. Great service from charming staff.
