L4P Cafe Hornsea Freeport in East Riding of Yorkshire

My wife & I visited the cafe after a day in Hornsea & a visit to the Hornsea Freeport before returning home. We were warmly greeted by the young lady behind the counter who took our order. My wife had carrot cake & I had blueberry & banana cake. Both cakes were delicious. Fresh, tasty & a decent portion. My wife had an americano & I had a latte. The coffee was also good. Served hot & a nice taste. The staff were very good, excellent customer service skills & pleasant, chatty & polite

We were visisting Bugtopia and went here for refreshments. The shop opposite, which also serves icecreams and milkshakes etc is part of the same business. It is a very nice, spotless and well staffed place to go. The kids' icecream milkshakes were "amazing"; as were the regular icecreams. I can't coment on other food as we didn't have any; but it did look very good. Lots of tables inside and out and of course plenty free parking and discount outets to visit.

Wow!! Afternoon tea for 4 was amazing. excellent value for money, staff looked after us. Will be back again. Was even allowed to take home what we couldn’t eat😊

When shopping at the Freeport, do you feel that you have earned a treat ?Of course you do. You are worth it !! You seriously need to make a bee-line for the trail's end restaurant in the square. They have a sugar rush special which consists of a chocolate orange hot drink which is then loaded with tons of cream and as much choc orange bits and other choc bits and little marshmallows on top. They play a game of how much they can balance on top before presenting to you ! Loved it. Apparently I was the firsat to try it. You lot are seriously missing out ! Get down there and ask for it. Only £4.50 for a taste of heaven. Go on, go on, go on !!

Sat in the sun chilling with a great cup of coffee letting the world pass you by and debating should I have another coffee

My husband took me for a snack, we had pochard eggs on toast and beans on toast, it was really nice. Staff very friendly will go agai.

Was very quiet so got served quickly. Great coffee and cake . Seat by the window kept my young grandson happy as he has more space to move around while waiting for food Feel comfortable here .
