Ordered pizza chips and tirimisu on Uber eats. Arrived 15 minutes after I placed the order. I have never had food arrive that quickly but I’m very happy 👍

Cracking staff, very friendly and good food

Had the Meat Calzone, Tortellini Boscaio with garlic bread and the cheese cake. Absolutely beautiful, very tasty and big servings. Will be a regular. Well worth the drive

£35 for food to be 15 mins late and stone cold. Chicken missing off the pizza and a tub of sauce missing. What a piss take.

Food was excellent apart from the chips (too much chip spice on them) It was very hot and tasty. Delivery was very fast. Would of definitely had a 5 rating if the chips was nicer. Definitely worth ordering and we will be using again

The pizzas we had weren't any better than a shop bought one, if so they were soggy and tasteless. Two pizzas with different ingredients and both tasted nothing but tomato. However the dough was ok.

Finally a fantastic, restaurant-esque Italian takeaway menu! I've now had 2 takeaways from them and both were great. I got the BBQ mix grill both times plus a pizza for later , she had a pasta meal both times. We are making these guys our monthly takeaway treat, we're too far away for delivery but they are worth the trip! Clean takeaway with stylish open plan kitchen too, staff have greeted us with smiles both times as well. Keep it up guys!

Absolutely unreal 😍 ordered a beef stroganoff with veg, calzone inferno, and cheesy chips. Stroganoff was absolutely incredible! Veg was fresh, calzone packed full of toppings, and cheesy chips to die for! All food came steaming hot and arrived within 40 minutes of putting the order in! Perfect service amazing food! Would highly recommend!

Food arrived roughly when it should have, but the quality was really lacking. Ordered the L'Italiano Burger, which arrived semi-cold and in a brioche bun that was rock-hard around the edges. The salad in the burger consisted of a very second hand, brown piece of lettuce and a slice of tomato. The burger itself was dry and bland, with a measly offering of cheese and a solitary slice of Chorizo. My partner had a pizza which had been shown a picture of some cheese and tomato, but that was about as close as it got. The bacon was just the bits you trim off for the bin. To top it off it was cold, despite being 3 min drive from the shop. Do not recommend.

Hi there I ordered from this takeaway tonight the food was excellent and the prices are very reasonable the service is excellent and the staff and delivery drivers are very polite and helpful would definitely order from here again.

Just got our takeaway 5 minutes drive for delivery down the road it was cold and got calzone only 1 filling of meat init chips in a tiny bag not another for 1 person will not be ordering again

Absolutely beautiful food. This may be one of, if not the best Italian takeaways in Hull. Everything was so delicious and full of flavour. I ordered the Gamberoni Mediterrano with rice, my mum had the Beef Stroganoff with rustic fries and my dad ordered the Capri Steak. Everything was presented, seasoned and cooked to perfection. I ordered my daughter a margarita pizza and mentioned I'd like it without chilli or fresh basil (as I was worried it might be cut up or had to take off once the cheese had melted) and they listened to every note. I've already recommended to lots of friends. 😋

We found this takeaway during the first lockdown and what a gem of a find then. However this evening we were disappointed with our order. From ordering to delivery it took 1 hour and 25 minutes, mid week. When the food arrived the chips were luke warm and very chewy, one burger was luke warm but burnt, brown lettuce, dry shredded pork with no sauce whatsoever and dried bread buns, which were both the bottom side of a bread cake! The pizza we ordered, whilst the topping was tasty the dough was very chewy. Not sure whether we will return.

Worst pizza ever experienced. You would find more cheese on a vegan pizza. Was more floppy than my dogs ears. The tomato’s were more sloppy than a Gordie on the weekend. The feta was more chewy than a rubber door stop. If you enjoy being disappointed, look no further!

Ordered the lasagne on just eat came to just under 13 pound with delivery lasagne was 9.75 turned up in a metal carton and it was just a lasagna no salad or nothing then it was 75 % cheese that was melted I rang to say I had ordered before and I got salad the girl told me you don't get salad you got what you ordered after chewing my waybthrew mounds of rubbery cheese I gave upnquater way in and threw it I could have gone to a restraunt and sat down and had my food presented nicely for that price and I'm sure the staff would not be as rude as the girl answering the phone

Such a shame this once loved favourite takeaway is now bottom of the list! 3 times we've ordered, first order completely wrong order. Second order the pizza was tasteless and greasy and barely cooked. 3rd time same again with pizza although this time the pizza wasn't cut! And my pot of sauce missing. I don't know if it's changed ownership but it's truly horrible now. I'd get a better pizza at aldi.

Ordered from here last weekend and they gave me a garlic bread when I ordered the pesto garlic bread. Rang up said I could get it delivered now or get free garlic pesto bread and 20% off next time I ordered. So thought we will have it this weekend as well. Had to ring up and explain what had happened last weekend. All seemed fine. Until my food got delivered and the garlic bread wasn’t free or 20% off so I was ringing the shop as was the delivery man. Ended up sorting it out and getting the discount. I ordered the bbq chicken was nice and really was enjoying it until I bit into a staple not happy at all couldn’t eat anymore it put me off. Won’t be ordering from these again

Always had my custom and money. Always got it perfect. Last 5 orders I have had issues from (nearly always) being freezing cold. Orders Wrong (twice) including Main Meals. Items paid for missing. £35-£40 Orders sloppily thrown together and delivered in 20 minutes yet we live 10 minutes away. Recently paid £40 for order cancelled without phoning us just an email 15 minutes after no explanation (closed early on a Friday night) Every time now we place an order for delivery there's an issue. Pizzas Pastas not the same anymore either. Cold Sloppy Burgers Garlic Mushrooms unchecked (all 5 of the mushrooms - woeful for nearly £5 ) Chips changed completely. For the money you pay and the fact the bosses do not care if you try to complain they won't speak to you just leave the young girls to try deal with issues. I have finally deleted my account and I am taking my hard earned money elsewhere. Very Poor Gone Sadly Very DownHill. You have lost a Loyal Customer- not that you care.

Well prepared and tasty food, some may think it's a little expensive bit it's well worth the price

Food quality in the majority of the cases has been spectacular (ordering a couple of times a month for the last year) - by all means this is THE Italian place to order from in the area. However, please mind delivery times can be a bit hit and miss when ordering from Just Eat specifically - I'd recommend calling the take away directly to place the order - it should avoid most of the disappointment and the staff communicate well if there's any issues. Don't miss out on their amaretti cake - it's amazing.

they shouldn't be call italiano gourmet.....they are a disgrace of the name!!! to be Italian, you must be Italian and follow the Italian culture!!! I feel disappointed as Italian to see this name behind this organisation!!! ask for an Italian consultant if you want to be successful and proud of the name!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED

Not one member of staff where wearing any form of face covering, both girls serving at the counter where both rubbing their mouths then passing orders over the counter! None of the delivery drivers waiting to take orders out where socially distanced or again wearing any form of face covering! Wont be going there again Disgrace

First time using this takeaway this evening we’re having a date night so wanted something different for a change. The delivery time was 45 minutes but it came earlier than that and the food delivered was piping hot and delicious. My hubby and I thought we were abroad in a restaurant somewhere (we wish) We will definitely be using this take away again and cannot recommend it enough ❤️

After having some nightmare takeaways in Hull recently (some that were literally inedible) we decided to give L'italiano Gourmet a go having looked at 5 pages of great reviews... Wow. Pizzas? Amazing. Light yet full of flavour and tonnes of toppings. Only criticism is the lack of stuffed crust and the ability to add pepperoni to a create your own is disabled, other than that I'm amazed. Garlic sauce? The best I've had. Full of flavour, actually tastes of garlic. Burgers? Well I didn't order one myself but was given a bite by my other half and it was thick, juicy and so well presented. Huge portion size and the prices were good value. It's actually nice to see REAL lamb and REAL pork in a takeaway that you can tell isn't just cheap cuts or plant based rubbish. We even got a free bottle of wine and a nice note with the takeaway, great customer service as well as great food = win.

Arrived cold! When you order from a pizzeria that advertises wood fired oven you expect lovely crackly dough! Toppings nice and tasty but very spare, would I order again.... Probably not 😞

Probably the best Pizza / Burger takeaway in Hull. The quality of the food is fantastic, doesn't taste cheap, isn't covered in grease and always looks like effort has been put in to making it. Me and my family have ordered various meals from here and we always recommend to friends. One thing I didn't like but this is just my opinion, i decided to try a pizza a couple of weeks ago and opted for a bbq sauce base, the bbq sauce wasn't great tasting had a funny after taste. Didn't put me off and will continue to order.

I have previously written reviews for this takeaway stating how good the food and service is. However, we got a takeaway from here a few nights ago and the burger order was incorrect, plus I found a WOODEN SKEWER AND METAL WIRE in the wrap!! I emailed the takeaway to complain and have had absolutely no reply. It's disappointing because we ordered from here all the time, and now we won't again.

1st time i went i got a pizza. They do such good pizzas and its worth ordering from their as they have other types of good food too.

Amazing food no matter whether it’s pizza or a grill meal, even sent the wrong pizza and a new one was sent within 10 minutes, hot and tasted lovely as always! And if you love garlic definitely get the garlic sauce!

I've been using l'italiano as my takeaway of choice for at least a year now. The pizzas are done in a proper wood fired oven and the grills/BBQ are really nice too. I've had the mixed grill, BBQ chicken and seabass and all are really good. It isn't cheap. But the extra couple of quid is definitely worth it. The pizzas are even better after a few minutes in the oven to crisp then back up after delivery/collection

The food was alright, except that I ordered a gourmet cheeseburger that was meant to have lettuce, cheese, onion, tomato, pickle and burger sauce - all it had was a meat patty with cheese. The burger was dry and horrible! Also ordered a pepperoni pizza that had one small piece of pepperoni on each slice and that was it. They need to make sure they are making orders correctly and with a good amount of toppings/fillings

Excellent take away authentic pizzas

Found this place online- ordered by phone as I wanted a few different things- poor girl was shouted at, corrected and basically bullied by the chef. After a while she managed to hear what I was saying. The food was ok very over spiced on some meals. Pizza was good. Would I go back? Not sure- maybe someone should have a word with the overbearing rude chef. The assistant on the phone was really nice and apologetic.

By far the best takeaway in the area! Lovely staff too. The chicken wraps are so good with the BBQ sauce.

Tonight is the first time we have had food from here, we came across it on the just eat app and was looking for something different to fried chicken or Chinese, so we came across this little gem, we decided on the mixed bbq grill and it was absolutely beautifully cooked and such good value for the money we paid, we will definitely be ordering again! Try it you won't be disappointed.

Been here plenty of times - food is great. Shame the owner/head chef isn’t as nice. Lad on the till was serving me, mid transaction came over and started shouting about him not serving the other customer first (who had already been served!)...very rude! Then a few minutes later was lecturing the lad about putting orders in the clip to be cooked - saying it needed doing in a calm manner and it wasn’t about stress! Double standards much! Get a job elsewhere kid, couldn’t work for such a rude person! Cheer up mate! Your business is doing great and you look a fool!

I have used this place on a few occasions and I have never been disappointed tasty pizza and good sides. They have a selection pf specials that offer great value If you are into pizza you will enjoy the food they serve and they have very reasonable delivery rates

Visited a relative in this area and I noticed this new place had opened, after looking inside and seeing the menus I thought I'd ask a few questions to test the staff whilst making sure about hygiene and a few other things and all looked very good. So after chatting with the owner ( un be known to me at the time) he recommended 2 of his pizzas, price was very reasonable and I set off home hoping the wife would enjoy the food. After opening the boxes the amount of food for what I'd paid for would of fed at least 6 people, the variety of tastes was astounding and quite frankly the best take away I've ever visited. Try this place and I can't see how anyone could be disappointed with this outlet. Keep up the great customer service, the fantastic food and the very happy atmosphere.

Thought I'd try, as I usually go to ciao but it was lacking in many areas, pizza was just cooked and was soggy underneath. Topping looked like they were put on with a gun, grilled vegetables were OK but the chips and sweet potatoes were just a soggy mess. They looked like they had a good selection aswel so I'm really disappointed.

What can I say this place is amazing, we have tried various dishes from them menu and all are very fresh and cooked to perfection considering this is a takeaway it is definitely restaurant quality food. Guys you must try this place.

Ordered 12 inch pizzas tonight it took 2hrs to come then when it came it was cold and looked like it had just been thrown I the box disgusting definitely not with 49.00 pound

Food was not too hot when it arrived and was almost cold by the time I had got off the phone to inform them the driver had forgotten to deliver my chips. Turning the driver around was apparently impossible and so I was offered an unspecified "something on my next order". Staff were polite and apologetic, but cannot rate any higher than 3 stars as a result. Edit: Following restaurant feedback, I did not get reimbursed for the item missed from my order, and rang the restaurant as the driver had just pulled away. Thank you for your generous offer of discount, but this was not clarified at the time, just that a note would be kept.

It has only been open for a little bit. So me and my girlfriend thought we should give It a try. The food was ready on time of collection. The food was very nice and hot. The chips where very good. Even the salad was great. Overall we will be going again very soon.

Placed an order tonight 12 Inc pizza was cold only lived 2 mins away from the shop didnt rate the pizza at all also got a gelato chocolate brownie that was nearly melted wen picked it up.the chef was arguing with the staff wen I walked in.wen I rang and made a complaint I was told I cudnt speak to the manager as they don't speak English won't be going there again
