Kwong Hing Take Away in Tameside

Called for takeaway fish and chips. Chinese food may well be good but the fried fish was terrible: 'Fish' was basa, like with many Chinese chippies and even the batter had a strange lightly unpleasant taste. At least it was crispy I suppose. Chips were ok. Never again.

Best Chinese in the area by far. We’ve tried a lot over the years and this is our favourite. Amazing food every time! Always busy but always worth the wait!

We are family of four, ordered a special Chow mein, salt and pepper chicken with chips, fish and chips with gravy, The portions were huge and delicious, I'm looking forward to going back again.

Great food, well cooked. Always busy. Honestly, once you've tried this place all the others just don't come close. Closed on Sunday evening and if we do fancy a take-away on that night we eat Indian or Pizza, won't go anywhere else.

A popular, collection-only family run chippy serving chinese dishes of an excellent quality at a decent price. The sweet and sour dishes from here are first class and pair well with the chips with salt and chilli. Although I've found not all the chinese dishes quite live up to the same high standard I'd still give the place 5 stars based on those tried and tested. For me this is the second best chinese takeaway in Ashton, Duki and Stalybridge combined, that's of around the 20 or so places I've had food from.

Definitely best Chinese food in Tameside. Great variety always piping hot . Really good portions and friendly staff .

Hi all, not been here for years. Thought we would order our Friday night takeaway and give it a go. We were very impressed with the quality of the food. The price was reasonable and delivery times were on point. We will be back...!

We love the food from this chippy. I haven't tasted a chow mein as good. Unfortunately parking is poor and you may have a little wait.

A good, well run chippy. All the family chip in (pun intended) when busy. Chinese and English food of a good standard for a traditional fish and chip shop.

Probs nicest Chinese takeaway in stalybridge yo my reconing! Always busy & food hot, fresh & big portions. Not the cheapest but worth a go for sure.

Two words for you. Special Fried Rice! Well thats three words but you get the gist. They have that funny red pork on top. No one knows why its red but the red tastes mighty fine.FYI - The spit from a bird is what makes birds nest soup such a delicacy in China but thats a different story.
