Sad it’s closed no update on if is permanent or not

Staff are extremely rude we was looked at like dirt for passing cash over instead of putting it in a plastic tub so she didn’t have to touch it. Completely refused to talk to us to explain we need to put our money in the box rather than just passing it to her. The scollops were rock hard and the meat and potato pie was gone off as it smelt and tasted really bad so that was binned after one bite. I got curry when asked for gravey so I had some luke warm chips for my tea as everything else was inedible

I went here tonight with my son the chips were cold and hard the muffins were dry and stale and the scollop were also hard we could not bite it one time it use to be nice but last night were a disappointment. I won't be going there again

Love this local chippy. Can't go wrong. They take a little while but it's expected I'd they don't have it premade. My usual is salt and pepper chips with crispy chilli beef which is sooo yummy. But the fried rice is amazing too 😍

what a joke this place is got 4 tickets on Groupon an come with food an drink for kids only to be told they don't come with chips so basically ya get 6 popcorn chicken bits an a drink an when we first come in told us it was full even tho I rang up an told them we was coming VOID

Food was hot, not the best, but not the worst.

Been eating from here for years and never lets us down, amazing service too.

Special rice was bland and looked to be reheated tbh, salt n pepper chips were just chips ( soggy) with a few bits of fried onion and salt, horrid. Fish was all hard batter and bland mush inside. Friday at around 7pm. Avoid.

Thought I'd try here as my local Chinese takeaway was closed, never again bland fried rice & chicken curry was awful, honestly never tasted chicken like it, I spat it out & went in the bin

Asked for an item and actually had a discussion about it, then when packing my food the lady checked everything off. I said an item was missing she assured me it was in there, gets home and it wasn't, goes back reminds her of the convo and how the price went up after she added it so she must of added it, to then be waved aggressively a peice of paper with Chinese writing to prove it wasn't there, she was happy to replace if I paid again and waited whilst my food sat at home going cold walked out disgruntled and won't go back

Poor attitude and service don't bother going if it's after 10PM They will only serve what is already cooked asked for 2 Fish and was told by the old woman that she wasn't doing any fish because it was to late Great Customer service Not!!!

Awful chips were so hard and pie solid due to being kept hot for a long period.

Very busy even at 8:30pm, must be good. Enjoyed my sausage and chips. Wanted Chinese but they said it would be 30 mins. Glad they were upfront and honest

Not bad as a quick fix. I hAd egg fried rice and curry. Filled the gap. Portion size quite small though :(

The best chippy in ashton we have found we would'nt go any where else the food is just the best and the service is excellent

Never got to sample the food here cause I sat there for 15 minutes waiting to order and didn’t even get an acknowledgement from the lady on the till so I got fed up and left. There was only 4 customers so not sure why the service couldn’t be quicker. Im not prepared to give money to someone with no customer service skills whatsoever. Complete waste of time after a long day at work.

Best chippy in Tameside without a doubt and the staff are very friendly. The salt and pepper dishes are amazing 😁

Good value. Large portions. Nice food but not special.

Food is good, but when they are busy you can be waiting for ages. Waited 45 mins for portion of salt n pepper chips and a couple of other bits.

Nos dieron la comida para llevar desde allí regularmente y nunca he sido decepcionado. Buena comida, personal agradable, servicio rápido, ¿qué no? Es una pena que no valen y no hay menú en línea, pero la calidad lo compensa.

La comida es deliciosa, podían abrir un restaurante. Ha cambiado de manos pero resultó ser tan buena como la gente que tenía anteriormente

We go here time and time again. Their chicken and sweetcorn soup is the best. A varied Chinese menu at great prices. A family favourite in our house. Staff are friendly and it's ideal that you can phone your order and pick up later

Food is great, fish is not greasy and the portion size is very well sized compared to other chippys.

Best chippy for miles around! Always good quality food, highly recommended!
