Read a few good reviews and expected - tasty, casual dining experience. The dishes ranged from an unpleasant soggy bhel puri to an inedible kerala chicken which was violently over-salted and had a strange sour taste. The chicken was served with a curry flavoured mayonnaise which is as appetising as it sounds. The cod was another highlight and consisted of a tasteless budget supermarket grilled cod dumped on to some baked beans. This experience cost £85 for two people (one cocktail + food) and was my worst dinner in London over the last few years. Inauthentic, low-quality and unhealthy.

Nice ambience, but the food is very, very bland. It's catered to an entirely english palate and doesn't taste authentic in any way. Also hugely overpriced. Would recommend going elsewhere

What a warm welcome we receive every time we return to an exceptional restaurant. The cuisine is phenomenal and the service out of this world. Where do you go where they even remember that you prefer eating rice with a spoon - thank you Eldis, it makes such a difference! and takes the whole experience to another level. Recently they introduced tapioca papads - one of our favourites. A real tempting selection not found elsewhere. London finally got its version of mishti doi - Kricket’s Bhapa doi. Sublime! Looking forward to another meal tomorrow!

Restaurant is in a superb setting and to be the fair the interior is pretty nice too. But that's where the good bits end. We had a table for three early Saturday evening and the restaurant was really quite. The menu offers simple choices but what you get is a far cry from the menu. The Keralan fried chicken was shocking. It was dry, shrivelled and tasteless and I've had better chicken at KFC. The lamb dish was also poor and just swimming in too much sauce to try and hide the poor quality of what was underneath. And well the croquets....not sure what to say on these apart from they seemed like they were prepared weeks ago and then stuck in microwave. The only good things was a couple of bread options which seems relatively fresh compared to everything else. It's a shame, it's a good concept, in a great location and staff were pleasant but unless I get sense that things have improved dramatically on food preparation and quality, I can't see me ever going back.

Very expensive for very average food and pathetic portions. The waiters are very push to get as many dishes as possible. We were a table of 8 and the waiter was very sketchy with the bill and how it was supposed to be split. I live in the building where the restaurant is located, but will never again dine with them.

Great selection of spirits Serving team were very polite Menu was limited - no issues about that Tried the samphire dish - fried - no taste the bhel puri - i have had far better and felt stodgy the fried chicken - was palatable nothing to shout about the tarka daal - was better than above - it mad more flavour than any of the above dishes no healthy options. no salads. alot of carbs and fried food food really was bland and lacked flavour would i go back ? only for the cocktails.

Delightful Anglo-Indian fusion, with a varied, inventive menu. Masterful balance of flavour. I had a (now-gone from the menu) rabbit kebab - to die for. Set in a thin sauce of mustard wearing a new persona of immutable flavour, the gamey shish kebab both celebrated and outshone British and Indian presentations of meat.

The decor is lovely, staff is nice enough and they have nice drinks, unfortunately the food just isn't as good as it is hyped up to be. Everything is overly salted and sugared - for posh Indian there are many better options in London, though perhaps not many in the area. Expensive for what you get.

Wonderful experience at the White City Kricket branch which in my opinion is the best branch now. Lovely proper seating at this branch unlike the soho branch which has shared benches making it difficult to get in and out with strangers next to you. Food was superb as per usual with Kricket. This time we had the quail, the pork neck curry, and the lamb ribs. All perfectly executed. Would most definitely come back again! Highly recommend the baked custard for dessert too!

This was our first time here and it was good to share it with friends as this is what the menu is made for. Some of the dishes were unknown to us so we very much relied on our knowledgeable waiter who advised on a mix of veggie and meat dishes for sharing, In the end, I reckon we ordered practically the whole menu between us, some dishes more successful than others. Average = whole sole which really didn't take to Indian flavours; spring vegetable - eye wateringly over garliced and a strange tomato dish. Best = fried chicken, lamb ribs, the kulchas and dahl. All this worked out at about £60 per head including beer and wine. I'm not sure I'd go again as the menu is fairly limited so we'd have the same choices but I might try the central London Kricket if it has a different or expanded menu.

This is a case of the emperor's new clothes as the food just doesn't live up to the hype. I don't understand where £180 for two people actually went. I'm a vegetarian and the sweet dishes they gave to me really didn't make me feel like I'm in a high-end restaurant chain. Also coupled with sitting on high stools, or the 'chefs table'?! didn't help.

Kricket serves wonderful meals with generous portions (which is a rare find in London at nice places). Love their service, atmosphere and quality food. Nothing is greasy or sloppy. Loved the fried chicken and the paneer along - the vibe was lovely with good lighting (which sounds peculiar but a relaxed date night or with some pals, this is perfect, gaudy settings are the pits). Non pretentious place too which I really love while not compromising on the food and you are not paying extortionate London prices for a tiny plate. Everyone was really helpful, chatty and assisted us with the menu and what to choose. Outdoor area too for a beautiful evening - inside is cosy without being cramped. We had a fab time. Wine list can be improved but it's not a big deal.

Love the brand new Kricket! Very expansive menu and delicious cocktails, everyone should visit. It can be a little expensive if you’re eyes are bigger than your belly - but it’s a real treat for all the senses!

A good old-fashioned curry house. Nothing fancy, but some decent curries. The veggie ones are especially good.
