Kookies is a small but very welcoming little coffee shop just outside Stoke Newington train station. I happened to come across it whilst waiting for someone in the area. The coffee they serve is great and has been well selected! I had a wonderful chat with the owners whilst I waited and spent some time people watching outside. Definitely somewhere I will go again if I'm in the area.

Such a lovely little place with warm service and great coffee. Glad I missed my train and found it. Will be back.

Kookies is adjacent to Stoke Newington station, probably not the nicest part of the area, but this little cafe was warm and the servers welcoming on a rainy February morning. Lattes were lovely, we didn't sample the menu, just had biscuits and toast on our way to visit Abney Park cemetery just up the road, but the staff were friendly and we stayed for more coffee/tea. If you're meeting someone at the station and turn up early (or they're late!), pop in for a drink and a croissant - or a sandwich, salad, smoothie, cake.

We saw a member of staff handing out samples on the street and tried some delicious sausages. Went inside and bought some burgers to have on the BBQ, Good price, quality of meat is excellent. Lovely food!

Canapés, cocktails and a fantastic barbecue...a brilliant start to out wedding breakfast!! Not to mention the glorious weather which made this terrace garden even more perfect!! We want to relive that moment all over again!!

This gastro pub is amazing, lovely athmosphere and really kind staff. Good quality and beautiful food presentation. The menu has something for everyone - traditional fare as well as something slightly outside of the norm. The selection of flavours are both inventive and successful.

There was no one at the Tent when I arrived. Espresso at £2 was expensive for the area (twice the price of 405). I sat outside in the sunshine which was nice but spoiled (not the Tents fault) as two women smoking sat down right beside me. The rest of the place was empty!
