Great place to meet with friends and family especially as you can choose from various different cuisines

Good place to have lunch with colleagues or family it can cater for every kind of group. It has lot of seating placea but can be busy on weekends. The place has bar as well. You can order online from website or order at each individual counters. If you want to order from different stalls, easy to do from online. If you're with a group and need to share, can also be done from the website which you can scan at tables. There are nearby NCP car parks to park for, no free parking. It is wheel chair accessible.

Tried to order 3 meals from 2 different places (2 from chamo and 1 from Seoul shack) but neither had what we ordered available. Reason given by Chamo was they close on Monday so don’t do as much prep on Sundays.

Order two mains and only got one of them. One was brought to my table, I asked where the other one was and they said it was on the way. When I chased it the kitchen said they’d sent it out and it had gone to the wrong table and it would take they too long to make a replacement. Had to explain the situation 4 times to different staff members to get a refund that took 10 minutes. I left very annoyed and hungry. Refund didn’t even come through in the end. I won’t be going there again, the place is a shambles!

Good place with lots of choice.

There's nothing special about this place. The food is overpriced, the service is slow. It tastes good (Seoul Shack) but that's it.

Hamburguesa de pollo de FAT HIPPO se veía increíble en el menú, se veía increíble cuando llegó. Pero eran dos enormes, grasientos y profundos muslos de pollo fritos. En una hamburguesa. ¿Qué estás haciendo? Aparte del hecho de que como consumidor siempre ASUMIMOS que será pechuga de pollo, y el menú NO especificó que no lo era, esto es turbio y mala práctica. La textura era repugnante, el muslo de pollo ni siquiera era de buena calidad o cocinado bien. Entre los otros 5 con los que estuve están literalmente cubos de basura humanos, que lo probaron y acordaron que el pollo era malo (e inadecuado!). Fue una verdadera pena ya que el resto de la hamburguesa estaba buena. Muy mala experiencia. Me lo habría llevado de vuelta para quejarme, pero mi comida llegó tan tarde que mi grupo había terminado de comer y estaban listos para salir. Para ser justos un amigo que tenía una hamburguesa de ternera de allí dijo que era increíble, pero tienes que resolver los chicos pollo. Me quedaré con Cutlery Works la próxima vez.

Nos persiguió a través de la sala de comida para tomar nuestra propia comida, hizo todo lo posible para dejar claro que no estaba seguro de si yo era un hombre o una mujer, y en general no era tan agradable.

LOVED CHAMPO - MUST TRY!! 🤌😍 Visited w a friend and ordered the Mojo Prawn taco meal w tater tots! When I say this taco literally blew my mind, flavour combo was sensational and staff were so lovely! Friendly PSA that you can't miss out on this place 🌮🤌🤌🤌🤌 tacos we're crunchy, and their signature sauce/seasonings was honestly unreal, haven't stopped raving about it and honestly sad I'm so far away otherwise I'd be going back so fasttttt. x3 loaded tacos (and they didn't skimp on the Prawns- what a gem) and tots for £15. The tacos were so filling though, more than enough for 1 person to be STUFFED 🫶

I ordered from urban pizza within the kommune and it was lovely. Nice atmosphere in there. It's cool that different people within your party can order from different vendors.

A food hall with various countries of food , from Thai, Kebab to burgers to choose from. Also impressive vegan restaurant there. Good place to fill the stomach and drinks with friends

Korean fried chicken was great!

El concepto de este lugar es genial. Comimos desde el lugar de los giros y era promedio. Los niños que hacían la comida eran lo suficientemente amables y había un montón de ella también. Preferiría haber tenido menos cantidad y mejor calidad. El vino tinto que pedí era frío y de rango también. En general, no era particularmente bueno y no me apresuraba a volver.

Lovely place and ambience with helpful staff however I advise against coming here for food. We all ordered burgers and tacos and it was COLD. The bread for the tacos was hard and the chips were also cold. If you’re charging £20+ for food please make sure the food comes out piping hot… not on!

Overnight trip to Sheffield and stumbled upon this amazing place. Food was delicious, drinks were superb and the atmosphere fantastic.

Went in today after our hair cut nearby. The Thai was lovely, would give 5 stars but the burger from Unit was undercooked. This wasn't acknowledged by them ("it's fresh"). My partner waited ages assuming he'd get a new one but they just left him standing at the counter. On top of that it seems that the heating is either broken or left off to save money. Not impressed by the standards today.

I came to Kommune to visit the Sheffield Japan fest. Although the food was tasty, at lunchtime, there wasn't anywhere to sit down and eat the food we had ordered. This wasn't because the dining area was full but because there were reserved signs placed on a number of empty tables. We sat down to eat at one of them but were asked to move by staff members because the table was booked at 2pm. It was 1.30pm. We only had a small snack that took less than 15 minutes to eat, nevertheless we were forced to move halfway through eating it because apparently it would take 15 minutes to brush a few crumbs off a relatively clean table. Later on we decided to stay and have some food from one of the resident vendors, at this time there were plenty of tables free, however, a member of staff came over and plonked a reserved sign on our table and said we had to leave by 5pm as the table was reserved. There was no need for this as there were plenty of other tables not in use that the reserved sign could have been placed on. The whole experience made us feel very unwelcome. Frankly, I find it odd that you allow tables to be booked in such an informal dining area, it's not a restaurant.

Not a bad place, it's good if you can't decide what you'd like to eat, plenty of choices but not always is every kiosk always open but you'll still find something good to eat. Good place to meet up with friends and have a chilled time chatting, drinking and eating. Prices are middle of the road, but worth what you pay.

What a great idea. Never been here before and walked in speculatively with a colleague. Tuesday evening, quite early with a buzzy atmosphere and friendly staff. Different types of seating to suit all parties and a fantastic range of food and drinks. Ordered pizzas which were delicious.

Unfortunately the food outlets that you like keep diapering or changing so can't guarantee its going to be what you want or expect or are looking forward to.

Went to Kommune today for the first time in a while, left after nearly two minutes. Because the one place I liked ordering from, was gone. And by gone, I don't mean it's been replaced by something with a different name, I mean gone. Like there was no menu, the cooker was gone, everything. Disappointing.

The oven pizze there is the best

Food is very expensive here and the app no longer works which was not clear. Staff were not easy to find. Really sad as it used to be really nice before. It is okay still but it has changed hands recently.

Como familia, este es nuestro lugar favorito en la ciudad para comer La hamburguesería a la que va mi hija. Tiene alergia al maní, pero siempre limpian para ella. Muy razonable precio y siempre genial. El resto de nosotros hemos probado todos los demás alimentos que se ofrecen y cada uno de ellos ha sido genial. Normalmente tengo envidia de la comida cuando veo otros alimentos como todo el mundo recibe una gran comida. Gran vibra, música y energía. Incluso cuando está ocupado. Definitivamente reservar si un grupo más grande o va Fri después del trabajo.

Hice mi pedido para el puesto de comida de Corea, me quitaron el dinero, recibí un recibo y un mensaje de confirmación. Esperé unos 25 minutos y vi mis bebidas que ordené poner en el mostrador. Unos instantes después las bebidas fueron retiradas del mostrador. Fui a preguntar dónde estaba mi pedido de comida y bebidas, negaron haber recibido mi pedido. Tuve que mostrarles mi extracto de cuenta bancaria para probar que había pagado y mi recibo en línea. Aparentemente se ha hecho el reembolso de dinero, pero tomará hasta 3 días. Así que perdí un montón de tiempo para terminar sin comida y £ 25. No se ofrece compensación. Lo evitaría fuertemente. Siento que me han estafado.

It’s a lovely spacious food court filled with amazing cuisines! The staff there are great and they take care of you! I cannot wait to come back and try more food from the other restaurants. It’s a hidden gem and I highly recommend a visit!

Went to the Fat Hippo for my friends birthday, all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful especially when I asked them to microwave our cake :)

First time, the woman didn't understand us when we said we had a table booked. It was noisy and that might be why, I had to tell her 3 times. We were shown to our table and said we could order on our phone or at the individual counters. Not once did she say the Internet was poor and Google pay didn't work. Anyway after about 20 minutes I was still trying to order 2 drinks I went to the bar. The woman didn't know how to do it, basically she could be arsed to tell me Google didn't work and I had to put a card in to order, which I didn't have. Anyway after 30 minutes I finally put my partners card in and ordered 2 drinks, my daughters food was ready and I sent my 13 year old off to buy his own. Anyway I started now trying to order food, I gave up pretty quickly and went to order at the counters. The food was basic and too many carbs, there should be more salad options. I left all the fries. It was so expensive for something that I would say is similar to mcdonald's or Wetherspoons. The other thing that I thought was really bad that it charged me £1 for ordering the drinks online which was a substanded facility. My partner then went to the bar to get drinks after our meal, he stood there for 5 minutes and the bar staff were serving people who had come after him. He came away empty handed. So off to the pub we went, your loss, not ours. Would I come again, no chance!!!

Estuve en varias ocasiones. La comida siempre estuvo buena. En esta visita la comida es la misma y sigue siendo buena sin embargo... Individuo sin hogar permitido en la recepción. Permitido comprar cerveza y acosar a los comensales en las mesas pidiendo lo de siempre etc y también sentarse con usted! Olía muy fuerte a orina y sucio. Al preguntarle a un individuo en recepción por qué se le había dejado entrar para acosar a los clientes, su respuesta fue ‘ohhhhh mi amigo le está pidiendo que se vaya’ con una voz blasfema hablada suavemente. El camarero le pidió que se fuera, pero aún así... Muy mala experiencia arruinada por las débiles decisiones tomadas por el personal de recepción y el hedor de dicho individuo. PD, esto no es tener una oportunidad con dicha persona sin hogar per se. Envió un correo electrónico a Kommune directamente, pero sin respuesta de nadie. Pobre attitdue

Comí comida callejera india por segunda vez. Quedamos muy impresionados con la comida, sin embargo, hice una visita al inodoro después y cuando salí vi al tipo que había hecho nuestra comida que también había estado en el inodoro, por desgracia, no se lavó las manos, lo que fue desagradable por decir lo menos!

Absolute gem of a place, I feel like not many people venture off the beaten track of High Street. However 1min walk from Castle Square tram stop & en route towards Kelham island I can see this place becoming more popular when the word gets out. A perfect link between Kelham & Town. Huge amount of space for corporate events, several quality food vendors. Definitely worth a visit

Really mediocre food. I've ordered things that looked gorgeous on the menu on my many visits here and I'm always disappointed. Avoid Hanoi 75! Avoid Hippo burger! Avoid The Monkey Jar! They're all overpriced and the food quality is seriously lacking. I've had a bland, flavourless curry at The Monkey Jar, a dry stale burger (with some absolutely tiny greasy battered chicken burgers) at Hippo burger, and a very greasy portion of chicken and rice from Hanoi 75. It's just not a great place for food, I'd highly recommend going somewhere else as there's lots that's better nearby.

Got the railway lamb that cost £12. The portion was small and certainly not worth the price.

Food from herbevourus was absolutely delicious and the cook was so kind and polite. I forgot a photo I was that excited. And the donuts from project d were out of this world!!!

I recommend the mix gyro with chicken and lamb, generous portions and the meats were juicy and not dry. The salad and sauce just works so well in gyros! I don’t recommend the birria taco, we ordered the oxtail mutton one, the meat was a little dry even after dipping it into the consommé, it just didn’t hit the spot like other birria tacos I’ve had. The food court itself is very quiet for a weekend but spacious.

The food was delicious . They have lots of seating and the building is very nice . Inside kommune there are lots of other mini restaurants. I love all the options of food and different cuisines.The building is wheelchair accessible and they have lots of vegan options. I got a meal from the Indian street food section it was incredible .

Able to have a meeting here behind the screen. Really nice food brought to your table(order at the counter). Good choice of drinks and very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend

Can get very busy. Lots of different food courts available and plenty of options to meet dietary requirements. Fat hippo was great for vegan options and have a lunch deal available as well.

The food options and reasonably priced drinks make this a good starting point for an evening out. I had the pizza and my wife the Greek food which she couldn’t finish because of the generous portion. Recommend

It is a genuinely new experience with every cuisine under 1 roof. It was a little hard to find as I was looking for 1 of the restaurants within it and hadn't realised Imit was part of the Kommune. Easy to order via an app and great atmosphere. It is very much a canteen-style rather than restaurant but great overall.

Went yesterday and was a little bit disappointed since there was no single vendor to order a coffee from in the whole venue (Café Tucci was closed for some reason). I even asked at the bar and the bartender suggested an espresso martini, but there was more coffee foam than the actual liquid in the cocktail glass. I mean, I could see there was still more in the shaker, but he would have overpoured since there was definitely too much foam in it, and the foam didn't settle. His cocktail making skills need improving imho as considering the drink's price £8.50, it was not really good value for money. I should have asked for a new one tbf. Can't really comment on the food since I only had ice cream from Yee Kwan which were delicious and scoops very generous, but not too many flavours to choose from.

Really good venue for a relaxed Sunday lunch. I had fried chicken from Roosters. It was crisp and piping hot. Portions were massive too. Barman was very pleasant and happy to chat. Fairly decent value overall as well.

Went to watch the England game. Massive screen with a good view, some good drinks deals and we all had good food from 4 different vendors. Kid friendly as well. Ideal

Called in the other day while waiting for wife in Sheffield Can I say I'm not that impressed open plan multichoice eatery But if I'm honest place looks grubby and kitchens looks dirty And £5 for a cup of tea is rather steap Shan't be calling again

Birria quito, went with a group off lads the food taste amazing didn’t wait long to get my food, the service was great they were really friendly and didn’t have to wait long to receive my food

We went as a family , we were show to our table, which we had pre booked. The drinks were expensive , the queue at the bar was quite long and it took a while to get served. We had pizza and fries which was very nice, and the service was good. Thr toilets are unisex which is fine. They had a toilet brush which was filthy and the taps squirt water on you. We enjoyed it but would not return

As a group we have visited Kommune a number of times and are never disappointed. We chose from a range of sellers and the food from all was great.

Easy to order but was disappointed by the food choice. Mostly overpriced burgers and the bar although well stocked with friendly service served a sad and limp margarita. Also had a paneer Kati Roll from Delhi kitchen which was inauthentic and bland. Wish I'd gone elsewhere 😞

I've been here a few years ago before I did reviews a d didnt think much of it. For me, poor choice in food what I like. This time round I went to project D For £4.50 I think the price would be worth it if the dohnuts were filled. But they feel like inflated dohnuts with the the tops being decorated. Very fluffy and light though inside. Wouldn't go back unless they updated they menu. Would say go Do-dos or some type of Chai tea shop for dohnuts over this. Not as big but can get better value for money and a better variety of dohnuts..

Visited on Friday evening with a friend. We shared all of our meals so we could eat/try more food. We had Chinese - sweet and sour chicken with egg fried rice. Greek - Chicken Souvlaki platter. And then Urban Pizza and Pasta - Nutella pizza and pistachio tiramisu. All of the food was delicious, we ordered via the app and then collected from the vendors Tables were clean and cutlery ready available Staff were very friendly and cleaned away our dirty plates efficiently and politely We were rather upset that it was quite quiet for a Friday night but the Cambridge collective has only just opened too We will be back soon!

Don't bother coming here. Food is ok, but since changing from the app everything has become far more difficult to make an order. Just avoid of you don't want to be annoyed with ordering or if you're in a party of more than one.

Wow what a fabulous food hall! This beats the others I’ve visited in Sheffield hands down. No greasy smell on leaving, and great service, with a new dedicated vegan vendor which is amazing! Love this place :-)

First time I've ever been in. It's like Meadowhall's oasis but much much smaller and mostly Chinese kind outlets and pizza outlet. A separate bar. You order and pay at your table's QR for the outlet you want, then when it's ready you go to that outlet, pick up your order which is put on plates and take it to your table. If you need help to do this then ask them to help you. Go to the bar and buy yourself a drink.

Great food definitely will be going again

Can’t fault the food but the overall experience isn’t great. Music too loud, you can order your food on the app but it’s an extra £1.00 for every order as well as an extra £1 for a drink but if you go up to the vendor or bar you don’t have to pay that £1. Then you have to go and collect your food, collect your own drink. Whereas before u could order on the app and it was delivered to your table. Toilets are shared which as a woman I don’t feel comfortable with . Don’t know if it’s been taken over recently but it’s gone downhill

Food took ages to arrive and was very disappointing. Had the Korean chicken which was very different from the last time we had it. Greasy and pretty tasteless. Expensive and low quality.

Bustling venue. Maybe it was our food choices but I was very disappointed with the food quality here. No flavour to the ramen and one dish was served cold but that wasn't made clear in the menu. Two stars as a chicken side dish was good.

Vegetarian bento box was the best! Very confusing ordering system... Much better to just go to the 'kitchen' of choice and order directly. Noisy.

Wonderful variety of food options in a friendly and warm environment. It's mostly self service, so hard to score 5 star for service, however those serving the tables and preparing the food were friendly and warm. Highly recommended for a large group with varying tastes and preferences. The kids enjoyed the arcade games too!

Love the space but the food was subpar.

When meal came it was mainly chips covered over by what was ordered, fire alarm kept going off which in turn turned off the gas and therefore one of our guests didn't get their meal, no one knew how to arrange a rebate of what they payed and so our guest had to wait for two days for it to be refunded

Great food. My niece ordered at the table via app. Good service. Overall, i was impressed Was a little loud as the people at the table next to us were shouting, and it was distracting.

Theres lot of choice and an app to order from but it can get quite busy and loud after 5pm most days so bring earplugs if you plan to come here! They change it up every so often too so its nice to try different options but wish they had less fast food but suppose a foodhall needs fast turnaround times not cooking from scratch much fried options but theres a new sushi and poke bowl place we have to try out soon would appreciate a ramen or burrito bar or Mexican one, there used to be here but its now a greek place they look good too but we must try out at least once.

Very busy. Was a little worried we hadn't booked a table for 7 of us however the hostess promptly found us a table. Tables cleared away so quickly and service was OK, one person's order on our table was a little slow but otherwise OK.

Great quality food at great prices

Ordered a Pulled Pork Pizza, I was told it'd take between 15 - 20 mins. After almost half an hour I went to see what the delay was and was told that I'd given them the wrong table number. Which I hadn't. As the table number they told me i'd given them was only 4 tables away from where we were sat if anyone had come with a pizza looking for me I'd have seen them and approached/gestured to them. Why would I have given the incorrect table number unless I wanted a cold pizza for my lunch. No offer was made to discount my meal or offer me anything for the inconvenience.

First time visit to this place. Good selection of food to enjoy. We ordered a Nduja special pizza, bao bun, and chicken gyoza. All this food from different food stalls. Love the flavours, worth it

My friend and I came here this last Saturday evening. We enjoyed food and drinks from all the different vendors. The tofu boa bun was a favourite of ours.

It was very busy so had to wait a bit for our food but worth waiting for

Arrived at 8.45 on a Friday night. Member of staff at front desk tells us they will stop serving food in 5 minutes. This was not true. They were serving for at least another 40 minutes. He didn’t have a clue. We were rushed to choose food as we assumed we only had 5 minutes. I ordered from Pokimen. The tofu was wet, mushy and insipid. Looked like he’d thrown a can of tinned sweetcorn on some rice with some raw onion and a sad piece of lettuce. Very very basic, and frankly not appetising, for £10. My boyfriend ordered from Fat Hippo. Although the burger was nice, the service was bad. Rude staff and eye rolling. The food hall itself was dirty. No napkins on our table or any near us, and tables were not being cleared once customers had left. Staff were hanging around chatting rather than clearing tables. Cutlery was stained and the main reason I wanted a napkin was to clean the cutlery. Drinks were okay and fairly priced. Ambience was okay. Overall, definitely not worth the money. Won’t be back. Cutlery works is far superior. Surprised I haven’t got sick.

Nice atmosphere, japanese food was authentic, especially recommend the gyozas at edo sushi, although portions were a bit small for the poke.

I enjoyed my burger. It’s quite a noisy place, but I went there on a recommendation so I knew what I was getting into. An interesting mix of food options.

Great selection for food vendors - all the major hitters, pizza, burger, Chinese, gyros etc etc. Not a huge fan of the app/order website but that's the only issue.
