KOKORO Enfield in Enfield

Had the noodles with sweet chilli chicken & sweet and sour chicken it was delicious! Large portion and fresh and tasty even though it was close to closing time. The sushi was also really good!!! Customer service was excellent, the lady serving us was so sweet, generous and accommodating making the atmosphere so welcoming and inviting definitely will come back again when in the area. 10/10 Japanese fast food in Enfield!

There was literally hair in my chicken. I ordered just the chicken in chicken katsu curry and I was about to take a bite and I see black hair stuck inside the chicken. I thought it was hair that flew in when I went outside with it but no the hair was cooked within the chicken. I tried to pull it out but it was within the chicken. I threw it away and then I noticed another hair stuck inside the another chicken. It was literally disgusting. I would’ve went back to complain but I had got on the bus even I noticed. I recorded it but I can’t post video so heres screenshots of if it

The best thing to happen to Enfield Town. Amazing food, great prices, great portion sizes. I've been ordering from them almost every week and it arrives really fast and hot. Katsu is delicious, the chilli chicken is absolutely amazing, their noodles are so nice. Really nice sushi. They even gave me 3 apples with my order?? I love them. I'll be trying their whole menu.

i was involved in an incident of theft. I believe that the staff looked down at me as i’m young and took advantage of my age. I was completely distrespcted by the staff and was mentally abused by them. this has affected my social skills as they were manipulating me. I do not recommend for the younger generation as the staff believe they can take advantage of our age.

Everything about this place was perfect

Today afternoon I was served by the fair skinned young lady wearing a headscarf. I was having a really bad day and my head was all over the place. She was so helpful, I came in not knowing what to order and she explained the menu in such a kind and gentle manner that it turned my day around. That was impeccable customer service. I am so impressed by how nice she was and her professionalism. Please tell her thank you for being such a great staff member.

Food is absolutely wonderful. The service is also very good. What else are the pros? Very clean? Yes and my cons is that we should be able to have more than two toppings even if it comes at a charge. Also it would benefit with having some wipes to wipe her hands the packet wipes And finally just a little ambience some music not not too loud because if you’re not in the fan in the background, the silence is deafening other than that I would most definitely come here again 30 quid two large meals a drink and some sides yeah love it

It seems that one of the requirements to be hired is to be edge and not smile never. Of all the times I’ve been, only one lady that I’ve never seen before was the most lovely

We often struggle to find a takeaway delivery option that we're all happy with on any given Saturday, but I suspect that riddle's been solved now we've found Kokoro. The food we received tonight was sensational - each of the nine or so dishes we ordered was absolutely superb. Portion sizes were good and it also included decent, very usable, wooden cutlery (chopsticks, forks, spoons). It all arrived warm and in good time - and on that subject, the delivery driver was perhaps the jolliest fellow to ever deliver food to our door. I should imagine we're going to be regulars from this point on. The strongest of recommendations!

My favourite place to eat in Enfield. The staff are always so lovely, friendly and take the time to smile. For me, the staff, especially Mo, make this place wonderful. The food is so nice too!

I went to Kokoro Enfield yesterday and it was lovely. I was served my a lovely girl called Keely. The portion sizes and the quality of the food was impeccable. Definitely coming here again!!

When you order noodles and they have to heat it up in the microwave- not good. You can make it better at home.

Gorgeous tasty sweet and sour chicken with noodles, try them you won't be disappointed. You can sit in and eat out takeaway. Service was quick and staff were polite. Price was reasonable.

Staff have basic grasp of English language which made ordering difficult . Had to change the order twice when they asked what I wanted then proceeded to just ignore it. Chicken quite fatty aswell

My daughter loves sushi, for me the hot dishes served. The large portions are large enough for two people. They are all tasty

The teriyaki chicken was amazing sooooooooo flavourful !!! The rice was also tasty. I was served by Mo she was really nice she gave me the best service here. I will definitely be coming back here again.

Excellent eatery (in or take away) with good variety including sushi & vegetarian/vegan options. Generous portions and at good prices). Cash or card, spacious for wheel chair, friendly efficient staff, a real gem in Enfield.

Staff are always friendly and helpful. If you want the best customer experience and that perfect rice/noodle and sauce ratio, ask for Mo, she is the best by far! Also better to go in store rather than order from deliveroo. My favourite Kokoro chain, wouldn’t go anywhere else 😊

Closing times are not reflective of their actual opening hours. Drove quite a while only for them to not follow the closing times published online. Quite annoying to be fair. They have also responded to my review with a lie of being open which is very unfortunate. I was quite upset having driven a while in order to make it to the Enfield branch so it is actually quite disappointing that after not updating their times or being accommodating on my arrival, they also are lying about being open? Unless they just did not want to serve my friend and I. Wont bw returning

The sushi was very dry, the rice was not proper sushi rice and felt very hard. The sushi was breaking as I tried to pick it up with the sticks. Quite disappointed to be honest, hopefully they get better in the future as it is one of the few sushi places around.

Congratulations! This place served me by far the worst food I have ever tasted! Have a stomach pill ready after enjoying the food. I also suggest them to at least mop the floor once in awhile.

Pros + Noodle has delicious seasoning and is cooked well + Chicken portions are big + Katsu curry sauce is tasty Cons - Katsu Chicken has a bland taste - Service is slow - Protein is on top of the carbs, it should be served side by side

Their Chicken Katsu Curry is so delicious and yummy. I keep coming back for more. Good location and friendly staff. Mo is such a sweet and kind person!

I have ordered takeaway from here a few times and I quite like it. My favourite dish to order is the Tofu Katsu Curry (£6.25). I thought it was very good though not as flavourful as I expected. I think I mostly liked the texture. I also ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry (£6.75) which I was a fan of, this time it was too much flavour.

Went to this place in last week .had sweet sour chicken .very good portion and tasty food.definitely will go back.they also have sushi

Lovely place, great staff and nice food. The team are always super helpful and will help make sure you get the grub that you want. A shame there is not much seating, but their take-away is all good!

I love love love kokoro and have done for so many years. I always ask for less rice in my bowls because they love to pack the rice in. The portion sizes are amazing. My favourite it the katsu curry and spicy porky! Be ware though, the spicy pork is super spicy 🌶 have been a super fan for years and now they have their own branded aloe which is wonderful to see. Customer service in the Kingston store is super nice and fast and efficient. Always recommend.

Amazing food and lovely staff! A great combination of food including high quality of sushi, dumplings and hot food (sweet and chilli chicken and chicken katsu are must have). The portions are very generous. A very welcome addition to Enfield town! Highly recommend to anyone in the area.

We popped in today. The food was excellent. The place was spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly and ultra polite, (particularly the charming gentleman who served us and asked us a few times during the course of our stay, if everything was ok.) I had the spicy Tofu and rice which was a generous portion and very tasty. There are vegan and vegetarian options also, which is great. Highly recommended.

Portions are good and prices are good. The noodles were quite saucy and the spicy tofu was the right amount of spicy! Sushi’s were good...

This was my second time coming to this kokoro branch and the team were absolutely lovely! I was served by the lovely team leader Mahmuda who was genuinely so kind. The food was piping hot, fragrant and delicious! The serving sizes were so generous and the mix and match option meant I could try two mains options on one deal.

when the Enfield branch opened up, the portions were big and meat to rice ratio was close to 50/50 . You will be disappointed if you visit this place now, the rice is hard and the toppings doesn’t taste the same and quantity is not good. You get 80% rice and 20% meat. It’s just not the same. Shame really the use to be top on my list my previous 3 visit not been that great.

They have Tofu Katsu Curry. I give 5 stars to any Kokoro that does Tofu Katsu Curry.

Overpriced, tiny portions, very poor quality

The chicken teriyaki with rice is so delicious. I've been there twice and the first time the chicken definitely tasted better and seemed more fresh when chewing it. A bit expensive given current times..

It wasn't my first time at Kokoro and as much as I always loved it, this time around I wasn't satisfied at all. Either the recipe was changed or not followed properly as noodles and sweet and sour chicken tasted totally different and definitely not better. It is a shame really.

I ordered two of Bibimbap - a rice bowl with chicken terkiyaki, sautéed vegetables, a fried egg (yes the egg) with a sweet and spicy sauce. I’ve had this dish twice already this week and it’s delicious! Ordered and collected and couldn’t wait to get home and eat! Got in and noticed the first meal - the middle of the egg wasn’t cooked at all! I mean there is runny and there is the egg actually running away from the food! So I checked the second meal and they were nearly the same, again not cooked in the middle. We couldn’t eat this so I called them and explained what had happened. Now if it was only one dish, fine - I would have binned the egg but the other meal was just as bad. Both eggs yorks had sunk to the bottom of the meal. The egg whites were way too runny/ jelly like consistency. So we spoke and they gave me 30mins to get back to them and collect a refund. Supposedly the manager Mo’ was leaving early. Okay, no problem, so I left immediately after the phone call. This was a Friday night by the way, still hungry, no food and now dashing back to get a refund on a time frame. Seriously! SMH Throughout, the person that served me and dealt with the phone call was Luke - awesome dude, polite and kind. Give this man a raise! He fully deserves it. So yeah! There could have been a number of reasons as to why he may have not cooked eggs properly but dude still wanted to serve them to a customer? Salmonella?! As mentioned, I’ve had this dish twice already this week and I know what it tastes like and it’s delicious. And this wasn’t it! Manager, Mo: Defensive straight off bat as he cooked the eggs. He said to me he been making this dish for 9yrs, erm okay… He started telling me what traditional Korean food is lol. With this type of egg 🤦🏽‍♂️ He has no idea what I do as a foodie lol I offered to show him videos + photos of the food he made (twice) in which he replied, no. Even when I was getting the refund, it was awkward, just run the refund so I can leave man! It’s Friday night, I’m hungry and I still need to find dinner! This spot has been opened for just nearly 2 years now and I won’t be returning. Good place to get a variety of Asian fusion, I m not impressed by the fact that they open at 11am and you can not get a delivery option other than deliveroo which doesn't come to out pcode

Enjoyed my visit to Kokoro in Enfield. You order at the counter picking a main course and pair it with rice or noodles. All dishes are Asian with a particular focus on Japanese food. You can order each dish as a regular or large. I had the regular Katsu Curry and it really filled me up and tasted great.

Change your Sunday timing to whatever time you actually close. It says 10:30 and you guys have closed for 9. Travelled 30mins plus looking on online timing. Be more efficient

Loved the chicken teriyaki - Hot and flavourful!

Very tasty food I 10/10 recommend . I love how cute the the packaging is for all the food items and the atmosphere is so relaxing the food is very healthy there are vegan and vegetarian options. The best sushi place I've been to .

First time coming here as I thought it would be a good idea to try somewhere new in the area. Great hot food. Got the chilli chicken and sweet and sour chicken hot boxes. Large ones of course. Enough for 2 meals if I am honest as I could not finish it all. Even the next day it tasted really good. Good value for money. Will try the sushi next time & let you all know! Definitely come back when I am in Enfield.

Just as a note to any vegetarian/vegan, food is not stored separately, and likely cooked with meat too, expect cross contamination. Left waiting for 15 mins as we were forgotten about after placing our order and being asked to wait 5 minutes. Other than that, the wife said the food she got was nice.

Not nice place they are charging for extra money I'm okay with that but to to ask to put it in separate bag it's no even if u pay for it and yeah the staff they are barely understand the words and at the end I had to leave. Just stay way from this place

Ordered the sweet and chilli chicken rice bowl from here and it was horrible. The flavour was very unpleasant and was much spicier than the one chilli led me to believe. I asked the lady if I could swap it for something else as I was very disappointed and struggled eating anything at all, she looked at me and said she couldn’t do anything about it. Very unhelpful and will not be returning here which is a shame because I had gone to the Maidstone branch of kokoro and it was very pleasant, perhaps if the customer service was better it could’ve salvaged my experience but alas I am left £8 short, disappointed and still hungry.

I love Japanese food, and am delighted a Japanese restaurant has opened up in my area. 3 stars because they operate as a franchise, and my franchise do not offer poke bowls (as suggests on the Kokoro website). I would however still visit this place to grab a bite to eat, as there is still plenty on offer. You could say its a competitor to Wasabi (the restaurant) - similar food options on offer. Wasabi (i believe) probably has slightly more, but thats likely because they are a bigger company.

Good portions of food for good prices

Katsu was below average as opposed to other branches, ordered a large but portion was definitely not. They also have a new spicy chicken that is not spicy at all but it salty. 2 stars go for thr staff as they were lovely.
