Nice surprise. This place is at Bushey Arches and looks a bit of a dive from the outside but we were on foot and hungry so we gave it a go. Glad we did, food was great, staff on their game and no Deli Belli next day. They’ve got no booze licence so you need to get your beers from the offi round the corner.

Absolutely dreadful and not for the first time. This place is steadily going downhill. Service has never been great but tonight had to leave after 2 hours with no main courses served and the manager who is useless unable to say when they might arrive. A lack of staff and a kitchen who can't provide food within a reasonable time. Avoid this place plenty of other Indians nearby who can provide a decent service.

The place is cold and not very welcoming. The staff are very slow and had to wait ages for our food and the restaurant was empty. portion's are very small not a lot of meat just in lots of sauce. I got a prawn dish there was 4 prawns in it and they were burnt I couldn’t eat them. They are under staffed 2 waiters and very unorganised. Will not go again and would not recommend to friends as they will come out hungry.

13 of us went to Kismat near Oxhey Village Thursday night and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. A couple of us shared tasty lamb chops to start and an average King Prawn dish. The mains were very good inc an exceptional chicken dhansak, great nan breads and decent mixed veg / bindi side dishes. Whilst service was a little slow, the staff were great. It was very good value as well.

I must say this place is a gem. The food is fantastic. The staff are fantastic and so friendly and give you a warm welcome.. I would recommend anyone to eat here or takeaway. I would say if you have a regular tandoori establishment I would say please try this one. Shah the owner is such a very nice person.. And as I said you feel so welcome.. Such a difference..

I have been to Kismat twice now and both times the food was excellent, the service exemplary and the price very reasonable. Based on our experience I would definitely recommend.

Great Food, service and price. It is BYO at the moment while they await their licence. The owner/manager Shah was an excellent host.

We were visiting the NEC for the day and staying in the town over night, we walked in without a reservation around 8pm and they were packed. Luckily they were able to find us a table after a little wait. The menu is extensive and tempting, we opted for just popadoms and main courses, which was a good move considering the sizes of the main portions are crazy! They are huge. The food was hot when served and remained the same whilst we were eating. The flavours were incredible and it was one of the nicest curry’s we have had for a very long time. The service was a little slow, but they were busy, so I can’t hold that against them. Visiting from down south, we a pleasant shock when we got the bill, as the cost was considerably lower than it would have been at home. A great meal, lovely food and at a great price. Highly recommended

This review is for a take away only, had a stunning Chicken Tandoori balti, however it came in a small plastic container and wasn't even full, also no complimentary poppadoms or salad as all other restaurants in Coleshill do.Thats why only 3 star
