i waited over 2 hours for my food to turn up and by time it did my food was cold and soggy, i had called the restuarant at the time it was supposed to arrive and they told me that the food had already left with the driver, so the food had been out of the restuarant for atleast 45 minutes before arriving.

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever visited. The traditional Indian table dancing was fun and added a little low risk danger. The interesting mix of exquisite Indian cuisine and Stoke elegance. We had the Thali which was a load of tasty dishes made specially for a couple of tasty dishes 😉 was absolutely mesmerising stunning and as my husband said it blew him out of his boots. We had one of the incredible cocktails that they offer. Mine was bananas and custard and my husband had water and sprite cocktail, both made us smashed but in a good way. Definitely come to this place on your own or with friends or even people you tolerate a bit. Perfect for an overnight stay or passing through or just if you live next door. Visit! Don’t hesitate!

Lovely food and great service. Having had an average experience a year or so ago, I must say how much things have improved and how nice everyone is. We will be back soon.

Always great eat in or takeaway

It was my mums 70th birthday and we picked this place on the off chance as she fancied a curry. It was amazing. The service was amazing and thw atmosphere was homely and friendly, all the employees were chatty and couldn't do enough for us. If you fancy meat and not alot of sauce try the "king of the grill" it was huge but delicious, we will definatly be going again. Oh and the host presented my mum with a shot for her birthday, she was loving it. Thankyou for a lovely night

Great curry, great staff, great place

was delivered on time, couldn't eat the chicken as it was very tough not tender like it normally is, hate to leave a review like this but the chicken in both curries was not good sorry

My order arrived on time however the starter wasn’t edible, I rang the restaurant to ask for a replacement, this was actioned but it took nearly another hour to arrive which was disappointing as the mains part to the order wasn’t as fresh as it should have been, the curries had been kept on a low heat, causing the chicken to dry out.. Overall the meal was ok once it was rectified so I would use them again but I’d be mindful to attach a note so this doesn’t happen again.

Our first time dining this evening at Kismet in Hartshill, I must say we were slightly apprehensive after reading some mixed reviews but I'm very happy with the outcome. The service was marvellous, the food was wonderful, the atmosphere was was very inviting, and price was reasonable. I have no argument in paying good money for good food so I have no quibble on this subject. We had a selection of foods and all was cooked brilliantly. Prices were very reasonable to for alcoholic drinks too. I will definitely return.

The food was Cold, I had to warm up the food and the popadoms were cold and soggy

Lamb was hard sauce was to thick other fish was delish

Came in about 6 and got sat down right away. Took our drinks and starters order and it came out straight away. Food came out quickly after that and it was lovely.

The keema rice was good and the curries were tasty but greasy, the lamb was beautiful but the chicken was tough and had a piece of gristle in it, for the price you pay, it's quite disappointing, especially because you don't even get any free items even after spending 20 quid, no poppadoms and no sauces like you'd get in restaurants generally. We have had the chips from here previously and they are really horrible, tasteless and soggy and we have had the lemon rice before too and although it's very tasty and lemony you do end up spitting out tons of pith and peel which kind of ruins it. Not to mention the delivery price is a bit much for a delivery that is literally less than 5 mins drive away.

Great food and service as always. Let down slightly by one server having poor personal hygiene but he did only come to out table once.

We really enjoyed our meal here.. the service is excellent, really fast and friendly. The food was delicious and really good for the money. Chicken tikka masala was top-notch, and the naan bread was amazing, even the plain one. The atmosphere is nice and cosy.

Very disappointed with our meal last night. Booked in at 19.30 and had 1 starter and poppadoms. All ok. Had to ask for our mains at 2100 as one of the party is diabetic and it was a long wait. Other people came after us and had their meals before us, when our meals eventually came, we had to send 2 back for being lukewarm.They came back exactly as we had returned them, with a half eaten prawn, so just reheated. Food hygiene😡 Raised the point with staff and asked for manager, but no-one came. No follow up, and then they quickly arrived with the bill. Very poor customer service.

I have called them up and they said they are sorry and really busy and unfortunately my food can’t be delivered for 1hour extra

The food delivered was really late, food was cold and chips weren’t cooked. On the app it showed they have delivered the food, but in reality it was not delivered. Very disappointing to be honest, would not recommend them at all.

lied about food being delivered at 10 past 8 and again at 10 past 9 finally got food at half past 9 chips were soggy I got chicken Madras despite ordering lamb absolutely shocking

I thought id try this place as friends had recommended and also they had won an award. Lets just say it was average food and have had better. Decor/furniture seems outdated. Firstly they had no mocktails on drinks menu-what a let down, as I look forward to my mocktails. Secondly popadoms were stale. I asked to have them swapped. Then when we received the first soft drink it was luke warm! Grilled starter wasnt all that and it was so hard to cut through due to being not so hot too that my fork went flying off the table. For what they gave it wasn’t worth the price either. Then a group came in later-got too noisy and it was like a nightclub towards the end of the evening as the music got louder & the party at the back were so noisy we had to start shouting at each other in our conversations. So been there done it, but unfortunately wouldn’t recommend.

Wasn’t the best but wasn’t the worst. Poppadoms were stale, no snap in them. Pakoras were soggy. Had great food from here before, but will probably be the last unfortunately.

would give 0 if possible. 1st time ordering. delivery was an hour later than stated leaving children very hungary. only to find when we did get it the whole order cold. chichen chatt watery. other starters dry like there days old. chicken in dishes was awful chewy like they had used the worst part of the chicken breast and hadn't prepared the chicken from fat etc prior. nann breads were doughy and thick. yougart mint dip that come with the meal was watery. would not return at all
