I thought id try this place as friends had recommended and also they had won an award. Lets just say it was average food and have had better. Decor/furniture seems outdated. Firstly they had no mocktails on drinks menu-what a let down, as I look forward to my mocktails. Secondly popadoms were stale. I asked to have them swapped. Then when we received the first soft drink it was luke warm! Grilled starter wasnt all that and it was so hard to cut through due to being not so hot too that my fork went flying off the table. For what they gave it wasn’t worth the price either. Then a group came in later-got too noisy and it was like a nightclub towards the end of the evening as the music got louder & the party at the back were so noisy we had to start shouting at each other in our conversations. So been there done it, but unfortunately wouldn’t recommend.

Wasn’t the best but wasn’t the worst. Poppadoms were stale, no snap in them. Pakoras were soggy. Had great food from here before, but will probably be the last unfortunately.

First time at Kismet Hartshill, restaurant is beautiful, staff are friendly and helpful and the food is amazing, will definitely be going back

would give 0 if possible. 1st time ordering. delivery was an hour later than stated leaving children very hungary. only to find when we did get it the whole order cold. chichen chatt watery. other starters dry like there days old. chicken in dishes was awful chewy like they had used the worst part of the chicken breast and hadn't prepared the chicken from fat etc prior. nann breads were doughy and thick. yougart mint dip that come with the meal was watery. would not return at all

Delicious food, lovely bright, clean and welcoming restaurant.

I went to the kismet on a Friday night and I was greeted by the staff in a lovely way, seated straight away and they took my order in less than 2 minutes and my drinks arrived instantly. The food came piping hot and delicious, cannot fault them! I always come here and the service is brilliant and the food is always 10/10 quality and I often order delivery service and this is the same! Shohid Uddin was our server and he was polite and attentive, will be returning!

Food is delicious. Really fast service. We were seated, ordered drinks at the table, and were served pretty much immediately. Our food was served in good time too. Our waiter kept an eye on us throughout and made sure we were well looked after. We had a really lovely evening. Highly recommended. We're going back soon.

This is our families favourite restaurant, any occasion (any excuse) we go to Kismet Hartshill. Staff are amazing and so is the food, we won’t have curry from anywhere else.

Staff are friendly and the food is very good. Prices are reasonable for the area. Parking is limited and around the back streets so be prepared for a 30 second walk.

Went with partner for valentines day. The food was delicious and the staff very accommodating. We had an emergency and had to leave early but the staff kindly packed up our food for us to take with us. Would recommend and definitely will return!

Not sure if they were having a bad day as this is our go to takeaway but the food wasn’t the usual standard. The chips were underdone, the nan breads were just about warm and the pakoras were cold and very overcooked and rock hard

From the moment we first sat down at the table to finishing our food we were rushed. Weren’t even given chance to look at the menu before being pestered to order. This was all in 2 minutes of arriving. Then halfway through eating our food the waiter starts clearing down our glasses unused utensils etc. We then ask for desert but to be rudely told there’s no desert even though a waiter walks past with desert plates in his hand. We only been in restaurant 40 minutes by time we left. And to top it off we were booked in a room where halfway through a party of at least 30 kids were included. The noise was ridiculous. Should be a separate room for such occasion. Food was alright but if you love noise, rude, fast service McDonald’s is a better dining experience than this place.

Rice wasn't cooked & the chicken in the Balti was very tough, struggled to cut it!! really disappointed this time, we understand they were very busy for valentines and hope this was a one off!, however the cheese & garlic nan & the chips were spot on.
