Este es nuestro restaurante favorito en Crystal Palace. Generalmente pedimos kish Mish como comida para llevar, ya que a veces no siempre es fácil salir con los niños. Tenemos gemelos de 5 años y demolieron los pollos tiernos y patatas fritas. Comimos aquí por primera vez en años y Dios mío la comida sabía mucho mejor comiendo. El pollo estaba tan tierno, Todo estaba delicioso 😋 La atmósfera es tan fría con música ligera sonando de fondo. ¿Puedo decir que algunos restaurantes no siempre hacen bien con las bebidas, pero las manos abajo los mejores cócteles se hicieron aquí! Gracias a Dios que tienes una licencia de bebidas ahora La última vez que comimos aquí no había una Así que fue una sorpresa encantadora. Comida increíble y pociones generosas. Y prácticamente todo, aparte del pan naan, es sin gluten, lo que hizo que fuera muy fácil para los celíacos de la empresa pedir.

Recientemente cené aquí con un grupo de amigos, incluyendo dos compañeros iraníes. Si bien la comida me pareció muy agradable, especialmente como alguien no demasiado familiarizado con la cocina persa, mis amigos iraníes pensaron que era bastante promedio. Cuando lo visité, inicialmente asumí que el cargo por servicio incluido en la factura iría al personal, así que no planeaba dejar una propina adicional. Sin embargo, más tarde descubrí que ese no era el caso. Para rectificar esto, me quitaron el cargo por servicio y propiné al personal en efectivo directamente. Si decide visitarnos, asegúrese de cuidar del personal trabajador. Se lo merecen de verdad.

Ok, so being married to an Iranian I have been to a lot of Iranian restaurants in London and of course in Iran. Kishmish in Crystal Palace ranks very high for their food, arguably one of the best tastes in London. Our meal last night was simply great. I would whole heartedly recommend this sweet, almost hidden gem to anyone who enjoys kebab and authentic stews, probably the best meal money can buy outside Iran. Well done Kishmish!

We have ordered home delivery for the past two years, from Kish-Mish Crystal Palace, and it is of wonderful quality, the Poussin Chicken is just the best-grilled chicken I have ever had. The chef really knows how to make perfect kebabs and perfect Iranian rice. The lamb is so delicate and without any gristle. And amazing chili sauce, Superb! If you go there, to the restaurant, then it is a lovely place, hidden away. Lovely very friendly staff. Highly recommended. But don't go late, it starts closing early 9pm-ish. One of the best restaurants in Crystal Palace, not cheap, but high quality.

Great food spoiled by absolutely crap service. Before I booked a table there, I rang the restaurant and was told that they closed at 11pm and that the kitchen closed at 10:30 pm. Half-way through our main courses, they told us that they were closing at 10pm. Before 10pm, they brought the bill, even though we were still eating our desserts. They then proceeded to hassle us out. I paid the bill but will never go back there again and will discourage anybody else from doing so. In the current economic climate, restaurants that treat their customers in this way deserve to go bust.

Recommended by a friend and the food was great. Shame about the service. They didn't wait until all of us had finished our starters before they asked if they could cook the mains. We were told part way through the meal that they were closing at 10pm instead of 11pm then hassled us out. In the current economic climate you'd think they would value their customers. Never going back.

Lovely authentic style restaurant with a calming decor and an array of objects to enhance the Persian experience. The staff were initially friendly while we waited for people to arrive. I'll come back to this part of the experience, a little later in this review. The positives: Lovely hot and delicious food. A wide choice and many dishes were particularly spicy but not to uncomfortable as can happen. It is a BYOB type restaurant and you are charged a surcharge for the alcoholic drinks you bring otherwise the restaurant offers soft drinks and hot beverages. Initially, the waitress who served us was polite and patient and took our orders professionally and efficiently. Overall, the restaurant experience was good but v good is the only rating I could pick because it was better than average. The negatives: Waitressing service was becoming a little annoying with hints to hurry up and order foods, drinks and once we had eaten to leave. I'm not sure if this is customary or cultural of the Persian experience but it was extremely off putting. It is not nice to have waiters or waitress just butting into conversations with requests to order now because the kitchen is going to close or the table needs to be wiped when your business hours state that you close at 11pm. This was at 9pm this evening. In order to retain custom and gain more visitors, this aspect will need looking at closely. Maybe somewhere on your menu or on your tables you need to inform clients in advance how long they have a table for or just allow conversations and socialising to flow. This is a consideration to revisit this restaurant again or even recommend to other friends. I dine alot in Crystal Palace and unless I am dining at some establishments, I do not expect to be rushed into ordering, eating and leaving a restaurant. ADVICE: Customer Service Training is needed for your waiting staff!! Your waiting staff need to do the following: Be more tactful when addressing your clientele; wait patiently at the table until you get the right pause to make a request and consider the tone in which your staff speaks, in obtaining what you want, without it being rude and abrupt as what happened today. It was clear that after being told that our bill was ready to be paid, we ordered two further drinks and this seemed to irk the waitress as it meant having to reprint a new bill!!! Now I am not sure whether she was in a hurry to go home or some other reason but the customer is King or Queen until your establishment closes. We had an additional member of our group arrive later and she was not asked if she wanted a drink, hence why it was ordered later on. Other than that, the food saved your establishment from a more critical review BUT front of house is just as important as the food being cooked, eaten and then paid for.

Have visited this restaurants on 3 previous occasions and loved the food but the waitress service was always lacking, verging on hostile. What a pleasant surprise when we visited for lunch today and were greeted by a professional waiter who went out of his way to make our visit memorable. The food as always as delicious. So glad we were brave enough to return.

Amazing experience - the best food in Crystal Palace - authentic - great staff and service - you must try the dessert with saffron ice cream (wow!!!)

We visited for a family celebration. I am very partial to Persian cuisine but some recent attempts had been disappointing. I am happy to say Kish Mish proved to be excellent. Nice ambience, good service and good food. You bring your own alcohol which is a plus. Although there is a hefty charge for corkage it still works out cheaper than paying typical restaurant prices for drinks.

Food is great and reasonably priced. Lovely atmosphere. Huge portions. BYOB although we didn’t drink today. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area. Lots of veggie and vegan options

Kish Mish is a lovely little gem hidden between Crystal Palace Triangle and Crystal Palace Park. I already made two visits there and was very impressed with the menu. I was sat down on the terrace on both occasion - very pleasant settings. I tried one of the vegan options - Gheimeh-Bademjan (Stew) - amazing split yellow peas with aubergines in tomatoey sauce. On my second visit I tried Ghalieh Maygou Stew - beautiful herby stew with freshly cooked prawns, slightly spicy, but they also serve you an incredibly light herby garlic sauce (so do ask for it!). Worth mentioning there were plenty of king prawns in the dish, rather than your usual four or six in an Indian restaurant. The portions are generous, especially if you go for a naan option rather than rice :) This place is absolutely a pleasure to visit, staff is helpful and chatty. I will definitely be back to try more Persian dishes.

Got a falafel wrap for delivery at lunch time one day, and it was excellent. Nice amount of spice, and good falafel in the wrap.

Having driven past this place numerous times I would've had no idea it was here. We booked a last minute table and due to the covid 19 curfew of 10pm we were warned we would have to order very quickly which we agreed to. Our food was cooked fresh and brought out to us. Both dishes were lovely, our waitress was nice and even though we had less than an hour to eat and vacate the premises we didn't think the service was bad. The only thing I would say about this place is the decor is quite dated but then that does add to the cosy feel. I will definitely be back.

Yesterday we went for a bite of persian food and my husband recommended to go to"Kish MisH." They were welcoming and we were pleasantly surprised. The service was brilliant and meat items were good. But the vege item was beyond our understanding as we ordered the vege kabab and they brought the baked courgedde with tomato sauce that was totally different to the quality of the kabab. Overall it was a pleasant meal although portion sizes could have been bigger plus they should change the name of dish instead of the vege kabab they should called baked courgedde.

My friend and I visited this establishment yesterday evening and what an experience it was. We were shown to our table where there was a piece of paper with instructions and may I add not very clear instructions. One of the instructions was that we had the table for 1.5 hours. After about 5 minutes the waiter came to take our order but we had menus. He said we had to tap our phone on this symbol on the wall so another 5 minutes lapsed. He took my phone and tried but it did not work so he then gave us a paper menu. After about another 5 minutes he came and took our order. We ordered our starter and main course. The starter arrived and was ok. After approx 10 mins he was back stating our main course was ready and wanted to bring it to the table we replied "no" we would like our main course served hot. Our main course arrived and the harassment commenced. In the restaurant there were 8 customers and a few seated outside. At the table opposite there were 2 ladies and after they had eaten their mains. They wanted dessert and tea. They were advised their time was up but they wanted a dessert there were 4 people behind us and they too were told time was up. It was then our turn we were told we could not have anything else our time was up To add insult to injury they never asked for any comment on the food if it was ok etc.but proceeded to add service charge. Now this restaurant was not on the government deal so were paying their normal price. My friend has been there on several occasions and found it to be a really pleasant eaterie. Basil Fawlty is alive and kicking in Crystal Palace.
