We've stayed in Moelfre several times and always frequent the Kinmel Arms. This week we've been for drinks several times and eaten twice. Service is always friendly and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. We had 2 fairly big groups, (7 of us one night and 8 the other) and we managed to get a table big enough both evenings. Every meal was excellent. Huge portions of top quality pub food. Nothing fancy, but really good, proper food. We'll hopefully be back again soon.

Pilot Boat was local for our friends but we weren't overly impressed and went out of our way to come here instead. Both Robinsons pubs, I think one day all pubs will be owned by Robinsons! Not by any means a bad thing. They don't do an ale I like so I just drink the Moretti. Really busy on a Saturday but the staff were working hard and we didn't have to wait too long for either drinks or food. We were in for a couple of hours so no issues. Order and pay at the bar for everything. The food was excellent, we could see it being served and made our choices accordingly. The enormous prawn cocktail was a treat. We sat inside but there are great views, especially from outside. It had just got gusty when we arrived and we were dining. Would definitely return.

Very friendly staff and pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. I had the BLT sandwich which came with a very nice salad and crisps. My wife had the prawn Marie rose sandwich again with a large salad. The kids menu was a good size for my teenage children. Burger and chicken strips they enjoyed. Worth the money.

We were on a family break in the village and staying pretty much next to the pub. One day we just popped in for some drinks, and while there saw how popular it seemed to be, so came back a couple of days later. Staff on both days were excellent, very friendly, appropriately fun and funny, and very attentive. The beer was lovely (Emo?). We had a curry, lasagne, pie, and gammons. Not o e of the meals was anything less than excellent, so much taste and perfectly cooked. The gammon was the biggest, thickest, tastiest gammon I’ve ever had by far! I couldn’t believe it was the same price as at any random generic pub chain for something 1/5 of the size. Apparently the KA is known for this. If you like a gammon, this is WELL worth choosing. Prices good, staff/food/beer/pub all good.

We live locally and have eaten here before and thought it was very very average pub grub. This time we came to have a pizza at the newly opened deck behind the pub however they had sold out by 6pm of everything! As we had a baby and six friends with us we reluctantly opted to eat outside the pub again! 30 minute wait turned into 1.5 hours with forgotten meals, what did turn up was barely edible with cheap ingredients that was badly cooked. If you are any type of 'foody' I would avoid this place like the plague, those that say the food is good here clearly don't get out much! The location is great and that's what keeps this place in business, that and the fact it's the only pub in Moelfre !! This is a tourist hot spot and without them they would be closed in a month. Awful food and service I really wouldn't waste your money. Go to the chippy up the road it's lovely!

Called in for a light lunch as it is my partners’ birthday. Had the seafood platter to share. We were told no taramasalata available and they replaced it with mackerel pate which was lovely. However one of the main components of the platter was a mix of ?prawns/ crayfish and crab I think it was. It tasted odd and smelt bad like old socks. I thought it was my imagination to begin with until my partner said don’t eat any more I think it’s off.. it was also a strange colour. The smell was quite strong. We ate everything else. We told the waitress when she came to collect the plates and said she would tell the chef. We went to the till to pay ( half expecting the chef would have come out to apologise, but he didn’t). The waitress said sorry for that and charged us the full amount ( approx £35 for the platter and two lattes). Very disappointing and I’m afraid we will never call again ( we are also fairly local).

I spent one night at the hotel for a business trip. The hotel is situated in a beautiful location, the person who helped me was very friendly and helpful and the room was very nice with a good view.

Visited on Saturday 3rd June 2023. First visit and very happy. Nice pub with great views if you sit outside, delicious food and helpful, friendly staff. Truffled rarebit on toast and Fish Finger bun (home made Fish Fingers) both amazing. Will absolutely eat here again.

Overpriced pub food. Left waiting for drinks and desserts. Would not eat here again. Disappointed !!! Had to keep going to the bar to ask where our food was.
