Had take away from here last night and got food poisoning. I can only presume it was due to reheating the food over and over again?? Me and my partner have both been in agony all day being sick and diarrhoea. AVOID

Question to the owners. Do you not enjoy what you do? Do you know anything about customer service? Why do you have such a poor attitude when it comes to dealing with customers who have a query or complaint? Extremely unhelpful and borderline intimidating response over missing items. You've lost a customer which is a shame because the food is quite nice.

Avoid avoid avoid !!! Attention drivers and customers: I have had a conversation with the cook, who I believe is the owner, and I must say his customer service is lacking. Furthermore, he failed to cancel an order when food was unavailable. I strongly advise against placing orders here on Uber Eats or any food delivery platform. This has been a significant disappointment. Avoid this establishment at all costs.

Order three meat soups via uber before checking the reviews. Big mistake! Not only did it take ober three hours to come(not uber fault) The soup was the consistency of packet noodle broth, three tiny bits of meat that were tough and crunchy?! Should have drank dish water from the sink would have been better. Very disaapointing only redeeming thing was the fried dumplings.

£7.50 for "extra large" vegan rice and peas is a joke. Especially as their extra large portion is nowhere near what you would expect compared to other Caribbean restaurants

Rice had no flavour, was dryer than gandhi's flup flop, was more bone than meat, also no salad, should be better than what it cost, also lukewarm

Nothing special. Ordered meal XL size, polystyrene box full of rice hardly any curry. Salad supposed to come with it got non at all. Won't order from here again.

Food ok, however salad missing.

I just ordered erd a fried chicken and rice with salad and dumplin...I didnt get the salad only veg wich I don't eat and an extra dumplin...id rather not have had the veg as it was all over the rice. There was also not an ounce of gravy...just dry food... there's no option to buy gravy...this could gave been a better meal but was literally just dry with no moisture

although it was late it was amazing well worth waiting for will definitely be ordering again

Ordered on user and they called me after 1 hour to tell me to cancel my order as they don't have anything that I order this place is a joke not even a sorry for the inconvenience nothing I will not be ordering from this place ever again. Disgusting costomer service.

Soup is thin and flavourless. Has the consistency of water and no taste. Very disappointed.

I try to keep most my reviews on the positive side when doing them but It will be hard on this one. The 1st time I had here I had jerk chicken, rice and peas and steamed veg. Definitely not the best jerk chicken I’ve had but wasn’t the worst either. It was dry even with the jerk sauce over it and the rice and peas abit on the wet side and bland. The 2nd time I’ve had mutton, white rice and steamed veg. The mutton was dry and extremely oily!! The rice was poor and the veg were okay but how hard is it to get that wrong? Customer service extremely bad in there like he wants to lose potential customers. Won’t be going back anytime soon.

Do not eat from here you will get very sick they smothered my meal in gravy so when I transferred it to a plate and revealed the rice look at this blue mould absolutely disgusting bad rice is one of the most poison food and look at this they need shutting down

If you want guaranteed food poisoning eat here. Upon entry shop smelled like rotting meat, Lazy gentlemen very rude, which looks high on drugs pretends he can’t hear you, you literally have to shout to get attention, very poor service

Everytime I make a phone order the foods never ready I'm all for supporting our own but jeez get your staff on point or I simply won't order from you no more each time I fool myself thinking it will get better it don't staff just dont care it's very poor service

Went today for the first and unfortunately Final time!! Had large curry goat and large jerk chicken to take away. Got the food home and had about 1/2 leg of chicken and the rest was rice the goat was slightly better but for £20 there was about £1:50 of meat the rest was rice!! My advice don't get ripped off go somewhere else.

Got the flavours yes but portions are tiny. Fish was hard #Refrigerated. Not worth the paper :-/

Terrible service. Ordered at 9pm, on Deliveroo, waited an hour, then the order got cancelled at 10pm because they decided to close without completing the order. Beyond lazy.

First time in. Asked for a cornmeal porridge to be made thick rather than too runny. Took it back to vehicle to consume and it turns out mineral water has more substance!! And to add to that there was no sugar in it. Horrible experience

Im a regular customer! And omg i ordered to chicken soups which was completely off smelt like fish and chicken wad like rubber. It was that bad i wouldn't even feed it to a dog! I

Absolute disgrace. First time ordering from here the order was late. And to top it off I asked for peppered prawns with rice and salad i recieved the complete wrong orders if it wasn’t in stock they should have called to ask what alternative I wanted. Instead they decided to just give me what they thought I wanted. On top of that the presentation was awful and the food was. Everything went into the bin but I refuse to waste £23 and have claimed a refund. If I could give 0 stars I would. I do not recommend

Ordered today 12.13pm, its now 14.07pm and nothing, tracking still saying preparing, tried calling not available, tried online chat, nothing. Never again, what a huge let down.

Ordered a takeaway from the vegan menu. Callao, Ackee and Rice &Peas. Plated it up and started eating. Suddenly we both discovered bits of fish in our meal. Rang to complain and was told he didn't have Ackee so sent Ackee and saltfish instead. We were not told and were expecting Ackee. Rang to complain and he refused to send it stating we could have a replacement if we went and fetched it. I said that wasn't good enough and he should redelivery. He refused and when I asked for a refund he hung up on me. It ended up in the bin and I certainly will not be ordering again. You don't expect to find fish in a meal ordered from a vegan menu and their customer service is appalling.

We tried the jerk chicken, ox tail and curry goat and all three were amazing! Portion sizes are great. So glad I found this gem in my local area!!
