Kings Head in Conwy

The food was pretty tasteless and for £17 for a main you expect much, much better. There was also stuff floating in the bottom of my beer. The service was good and atmosphere seemed nice but I won't be returning.

Great place for food and drinks

Went for dinner which was lovely. Had the steak and ale pie… a proper piece of pie. The only let down was the most beers we wanted were not on and the specials had run out.

Rats and mice running everywhere, keep your eyes open, might see one.

Stunning place being the oldest pub in llandudno it has a fair bit of history and charm inside is real old world atmosphere it's.fantastic serving good pub food and drinks lots of outside.seating and very dog friendly too sited next to the tram station that's ready to take you to the top of the great orm give this pub a look it's well worth it only down fall not good for wheel chairs but it is an old pub

It is a lovely pub. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There is more tables to the rear of the pub were you order your food. Ask for a table there which seems so much more of a welcoming site to eat. It was probably full when we booked.

First visit to this pub, it was chosen to meet up with friends. We ordered fish and chips. the fish was totally overcooked so it was so brittle it couldn't be eaten. The chips too wee over cooked. Not impressed I won't be returning

Stunning Sunday dinner. Walked in, no booking. Both of us had the mixed roast dinner. Perfect portions. Highly recommended

Booked table for 6.30 on Saturday evening, pub was relatively busy but not overly so. We we're seated in restaurant at back of pub and basically just left, a lot of staff milling about not appearing to do much. Placed food order, and waited about 20 mins for 1 starter, not too bad. Then waited over an hour for main to arrive, husband had the special of lambs liver, small portion, smaller than the starter, very tough and not much taste. I had the steak burger, not a bad burger but served with frozen fries and shop bought coleslaw, not really worth £17 Overall quiet disappointing

The food here was delicious and there is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. The staff were friendly and helpful. But unfortunately, there is no wheelchair accessible toilet.

I needed a table for 19 people for my dads 70th which was not easy to find but kings head has a lovely room in the back. It’s really nicely decorated and lovely and cosy. Despite them warning me that they were having kitchen staff shortage problems as a lot of places do these days, everything went really well and the service was excellent.

This place is really nice. Clean and friendly. Well priced. Will defo visit again, just a shame we live miles away.

Sorry guys but despite the great atmosphere outside The restaurant bit inside needs attention Disappointed with the menu, not much choice and all very similar dishes on offer The "crispy" pork belly wasn't Aldi burger and lidl skin on fries should not be the best part of £20 then to forget one of our groups meal altogether well.......

Lovely pub, good beer (Abbotts Ale) great food, we enjoyed a very tasty traditional Sunday lunch, service was attentive and quick.

Perfect pub location. Right next to the tram station. After visiting the Great Orme, I wanted nothing more than a beer in that very hot day.

Booked ahead on Thursday night said we wanted food and take part in the quiz and the person on the phone couldn't have been more lovely. Put us on a cosy table in the pub so we got all the atmosphere. Every member of staff there were so friendly - the quiz was fantastic (and the quizmaster was so patient sorting our faulty connection on the app) and the food was very high quality. I had the chicken supreme and my friend had steak pie - both were brilliant. We had a laugh with the regulars and had a brilliant night. Highly recommend :)

Situated just behind the tram station in Llandudno. The pub served good beer and food. It is a friendly pub, but the one thing that really made it a 'go to' place was the bar staff. .. nothing was too much trouble. One of the guys went above and beyond on a couple of occasions, in the name of customer service, I didn't catch his name, though. Recommended!

A charming and historic pub, but unfortunately, they charge nearly £10 for a small 20cl Prosecco. This pricing is hard to justify, and for that reason, we will not be returning. Your justification below is inadequate. Selling a product that is roughly 1/3 the size of a full bottle which is 3x the price suggests that the full bottle is even more significantly overpriced. Such pricing strategies, perceived as exploitative and driven by excessive profit motives, can ultimately alienate and drive away consumers.

Great beer selection, fantastic location. When the sun is out, the beer garden is amazing. Separate restaurant inside but can eat anywhere. Dog blankets were available. Some of the staff were a little cold but well worth it.

Inspired to visit this ‘historical’ pub from the history & other reviews. We left without even finishing our drinks, something we’ve never done. Upon arrival we were overwhelmed by the musty smell, the lack of interest by the bartender that apparently didn’t even know what Campari was, to soldiering on in a room where parents let kids run amuck & dogs licking meals off “something”. Don’t waste your time or digestion here.

Lovely pub with large beer garden. Can watch the llandduno tram passing by. Lovely atmosphere inside. Good selection of drinks. We didn't eat but the food being served looked lovely. Wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

Great location on a nice day as there is plenty of outdoor seating. Maybe most importantly, there were no seagulls present whilst we ate our sarnies.

Considering we turned up booked in as a group of 16 on a very busy sunny Bank Holiday Sunday, the staff were excellent and attentive and the food came out quickly and was fantastic - all credit to the staff!

A great pub. Large selection of food and drinks all at reasonable prices. There is plenty of inside and outside seating. We sat outside, which is a great place to watch the Great Orme Trams pass. Highly recommended.

As there were only a couple of couples eating while we were there there wasn't much of an atmosphere. Barman said it was quiet as other places have said also. My hubby ordered steak burger which he enjoyed, I, on the other hand had the lamb shank, which was spoilt by being swamped in gravy. When the waitress eventually came to clear the plates & asked how it was, I said mine was spoilt by being swamped in gravy & her reply was they usually put it in jugs & that people always ask for more! So why mine wasn't put in a jug? No response. Really disappointing as we went there because of all the good reviews but so disappointing. Also the foreign girl who brought the dishes out could do with some people skills.

The oldest pub in Llandudno. Wooden panels all around the place. Great big fireplace burning logs. Large flag stones on the floor. A couple of tiered levels as you move from the bar.There were a few real ales being served and food available. Nice old worldly pub. Beer was good, staff were friendly and helpful. Worth a visit. I enjoyed my visit.

Local pub go in all year round, Thursday is open mic afternoon, it's brilliant

We popped in here for a hard earned pint after walking up the Great Orme. We then decided to book a table for the evening. Alls I can say is the Sunday roast was amazing and probably the best I've had. My partner had the Lamb shank and I had the roast beef. Would 100% recommend anyone to try the food here.

Lovely cosy, welcoming inn, the real fire is gorgeous. Food was delicious and there was a good selection of ales. We went on a day of torrential rain which chilled you to the core, our dog was unhappy too. This lovely place provided large towels to dry your dog which I thought was very considerate of them.

It's a lovely looking pub with a nice roaring fire. It's an old pub with a homely feel. The beers are good but a bit expensive.

Great service at this quaint pub, Darren went out of his way to provide excellent customer service for me and my two dogs, thank you. Would recommend the fish soup, delicious and a good ale to boot!

Twelve of us stopped here for lunch en-route to Betws-y-Coed. We were able to pre-book and it was nice to find the tables set for our arrival. The menu was good and reasonable. It was also nice to have all the food served together, the service impeccable. The only downfall is that there is no carpark and street parking is very tight.

If you pay by card make sure you check what you have paid, because it cost me £32 for 2 pints of cider and 2 glasses of wine. I made the mistake of not getting a receipt. There must be a scamer behind the bar
