One of the only bars that allows kids in untill it closes, food is great value for money, and the Sunday carvery is the best around. Staff are very friendly and kids can be kids.

Been here before but the food wasn't as good this time. The chips were very greasy and the potato on the inside had disintegrated.

Went to browns for Sunday lunch, was recommended from a friend.. WOW!! Superb quality fresh veg, proper roast beef , turkey and the gammon..decent proper Yorkshire puds.. fast service with very good kind staff, they ask what meats you want., then you help yourself to veg gravy n sauces. And to top it off a decent pint of lager £4! Now where I live it costs £ 6.40 for the same pint. We didn't feel rushed either, the venue has a big room. Very clean 👌 all in all, mega chuffed!! Will be visiting again for sure, thanks for a great Sunday lunch!!!!!

One word for the this 'family friendly' pub. Aloof. Not a nice experience. One and gone.

We got the last few carvery meals on Sunday afternoon, washed down with a couple or four pints of Tetley Bitter for the girls and a white wine for the lads. Look at my other reviews to see where I've been!

Visited today wanting something to eat for lunch.Greeted by the shop assistant who pocked her finger in a pie to see if it was warm and picked up a sausage with her fingers all without gloves. She asked what we wanted to which i replied nothing and walk out. I think they need to look at their hygiene training.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, and appeared to enjoy their jobs 🙂 Food was amazing. Everything we had we fell in love with. Booking is advised and it gets busy

So sad its closed I live in Australia and when ever I came out to visit every few years I would look forward to their King Prawn Curry and Fried Rice it was worth travelling halfway around the world for, they were lovely people as well but hey life goes on I will have to find a new place when I visit North Wales next June
