Loved it had a brilliant night, fitted in with the locals, so much different from what that secret drinker said about it, we intend going here as much as we can, landlady was so nice, and the prices were very good aswell

From the outside it looks closed but when you go inside it's like a different world.the people are so friendly there was music and everyone was dancing even the landlady,prices are very reasonable and the beer garden is very big, loved it and would highly recommend you go here if in the area

This is a proper pub. The locals are friendly. The garden is very good. There was a karaoke on and some talented singers turned up. I tried a pickled egg; that was the only thing I wouldn't recommend.

Great pub, great service bar staff came to our table straight away for our drinks order and we were served in minutes. Very efficient. Nice beer garden at the rear which would be great in good weather

We as a group were booked in for a reunion at the hotel just up the road,which had no beer. So we descended end masse to the Kings Head, who were most accommodating to a large group of ex matelots and wives. We spent two good nights in there , very enjoyable ,many thanks for your hospitality.

We had a babys 1st birthday party here today, it was so perfect, the garden is lovely with adequate seating and parasoles. Sarah and staff were amazing, very accomodating. The pub was very clean and spacious. Highly recommend this pub for a private party

Great pub under new ownership of Annmarie & Nic. A proper local once again , with a couple of great Ales and plenty going on. Fabulous burgers too !! I’ll be back !

We go to the King's head every friends birthday and normally Xmas eve. We was disappointed that they changed the date to the 23rd this year. We was having a good time tonight until the disco music was so loud it was hurting our ears. We asked about 9pm if the music could be turned down. They done it and we chatted and danced then about 9.45pm the music went back up and we ended up leaving. It kinda ruined our night to be honest.
