It’s closed down. Apparently this place closed down in Aug 22, reopened for a few months in 2023, then closed down again.

Purchased biscuits for children from Christmas fayre and the date was 3 days past. Contacted bakery, who offered refund but then never responded. Below poor customer service

Really excellent little cafe/bakery with outstanding shop items and a well run cafe with lovely staff and great items on the menu. We met our ex work colleague for a Saturday breakfast and were as welcome as ever. Very much enjoyed our visit and strongly recommend this great establishment

Can't recommend highly enough. The staff are absolutely wonderful and produce cooked to order meals. They always give a lovely warm welcome. Various breads can be purchased as well and these, being locally baked are tasty and well produced.

Highly recommended breakfast. One of the last remaing cafes in the area to still do them. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Sausages that actually have taste, 2 eggs ( rare these days). Great toast, from the bakery. Selection of cakes to take away, good coffee. Really nice atmosphere l. Shop over the road if you want a paper to read with food. Debbies Cafe used to be the bench mark, sadly no longer with us, but this has filled the gap nicely.

Staff were friendly enough, service was prompt, however I got a paltry amount of chips to compliment my "chicken" burger....no salad or owt. The meat was actually beef, which wouldn't have been an issue in itself, but the accompanying roll and 'toppings' were for a chicken burger, so I had mayo & lettuce on my beefburger. Not great, not even sure how that went so wrong and wasn't picked up by anyone. Photo shows the combination received, and the largely empty plate, can only imagine the focus was on the brioche branding.

I stayed at The Royal Oak for one night whilst on a business trip. I also was fortunate enough to enjoy dinner and breakfast there. The staff were super helpful and friendly and both meals delicious. I have a couple of special dietary requirements and everyone was extremely accommodating. My room and bathroom were very clean and beautifully appointed. I would like to mention Emma on Reception who was particularly helpful during my stay I highly recommend The Royal Oak.

I've only ever had deliveries from Mayflower. They are pricey than others, but overall, I've found them to be the best that delivers to me in Rushden. The food is flavoursome and tastes good, whereas I've seen others use lower-quality meat. They generally leave me feeling like the money could have been spent better elsewhere.
