It was a really nice place to call in for a pint. Right next to King Billy's statue (William lll). It is a good pub with the bare wooden style of a lot of the bars in the area. There was a good range of beers, lager and cider. The staff were very friendly and the service was very quick despite the place being very busy. Only open weekends.

Bar to small and only one staff working she was very busy not a place I would re visit

Lovely food and great atmosphere but I wish all the guests food came out at the same time , one thing about parties is I like to eat the same time as my friends but this wasn’t the case. Also a couple of people felt their meat feast pizzas could have had more meat , the loaded fries could have had more meat too was just pieces of ham and pepperoni but was lovely though 7/10.

Tried to book venue for daughters 21st, lack of communication is shocking!!!

Nice pub with a huge outdoor seating area and free to play arcade machine! I would recommend.

Great venue. Recently played at a gig there and had a great time. Sound system is amazing and the layout is great with an outdoor bar area

Went for a wedding do. Nice place and I like the Twin Peaks-esque couch in the corner.

Furry party was ace, good event location and friendly staff both at the doors and behind the bar.

went for a planned event the other week staff were amazing but the security guards were super kind and very approachable because of this I would feel more than safe attending again outside of an event :) thankypu to the security staff on the front door and thanks for having us

Great venue and lovely atmosphere. Always really attentive to everyones needs and short wait times on drinks / food. The beer garden is a super cool area to be in with lots of colour and sheltered areas.

Place looks great! Lots of street art and colours, free games, lots of music. Went for a booked event, unfortunately they ran out of pizzas by the time I got round to ordering food, so I had cheesy chips.

I attended the venue a few days ago for the hull furs meet but was extremely disappointed with the lack of access and disabled toilet. The main entrance is flat so you may think it's going to be ok but there is a step to get into the beer garden area and a kerb sized step up onto the decking.

Really good, free shuffleboard as well

Went here on staff Xmas party , what a tip ,scruffy , expensive, pub. Asked 5 times for outdoor heaters to be put on, no chance . Never ever again WHAT A DUMP

Surroundings very nice. However establishment ran out of Larger/ Beer ! Sourced Multipacks from Tesco & charged £5.00 per can (Fosters) Is this legal ?

Ideal for small parties & events (I performed there for Hull's Comedy Festival). Good use of different rooms. Centrally located near the Minster. I don't drink, so can't comment on the selection of beers & spirits. Seemed like a friendly place.

Great venue and function room, had a 60th birthday party there and was a memorable night. Definitely would recommend but drinks was a little bit more expensive than usual

Great done out venue, however, putting drink prices up half way through a private party is a bit of a pisstake

Great venue for private parties and corporate entertainment events. Helen and team are very professional. It's a great space and very versatile. We opted for a buffet for our event for 100+ and had so many compliments on it during and after the event. The vegan options were reportedly delicious.

Great venue, friendly door and bar staff, amazing sound system, quality music and is in a prime location. Cant speak highly enough of this place. A credit to the underground House Music scene in Hull! 👌🏽

King's is ace. Land lady is so nice and is a lovely chat. Her dog is amazingly cute as well. Drinks are not expensive and there is loads of room. They take requests so you can get a nice string of tunes on. All in all we go there nearly every night out in Hull and we recommend it! 5 stars long may it continue.

Unfortunately refused entry because of a dress code, saying I'm out to cause trouble.

One of my favourite pubs in Hull. This place drips with history and gravatas. The land lady is lovly and came to talk to us and other tables through out the night and her dog was also walking around which was so cool! I really recommend you may a trip here for a drink.

The service and servers are great! The Hull Pies delicious!!! The venue is ok, love the beer garden. The lower rating is due to the music and seating. The music could have been not so loud and I suggest maybe a quiet area for food services. We did not feel comfortable there.

Would not go again seeats inside was very hard not comfortable at all

What they have done at KINGS is amazing! They have kept the front as it’s originally iconic self but as soon as you walk inside you’ll see how they have brought in the modern era especially in the beer garden which is such a great size! They have also been mixing it up with the nights they are putting on, accommodating for as many people as possible!

This is a magnificent golden statue placed in the middle of the street, I didn't see a real explanation as to why. It's still pretty cool though, and very well looked after. Apparently its been there since 1734, so it's pretty old and got to be there for a reason. Worth a little look if doing the historic Hull old town trail
