Once again, just beautiful food. Staff are always friendly and quick as can be. I don’t mind waiting, always fresh and great great food! Thank you (And sorry, I reviewed the wrong Kingfisher) Simply the best!!

The chips were overcooked and the sausage in batter was too. The curry sauce was tasteless and barely warm. Perhaps they had an off day. But has put me off going back.

Always use this chop shop whenever we have a takeaway which tbh with the cost of living as it is lately, isn't often! But the food, service and general atmosphere is always consistent 👌 beautiful chips 🍟 😋 every time ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A very friendly chippie, you can get great service and fast freshly cooked to order. If you like curry sauce with your chips, then you'll not be disappointed.

Not a problem with the food, service isn’t great, ended up waiting nearly half hour for a very small order, the one on the fryer wasn’t listening, very busy chatting to mates so hasn’t started on the food, the girl who took the order asked for the third time once they realised, no apology, if anything still had time to giggle and whisper with each other rather than applying good customer service, disappointing.

This is the best and cheapest fish and chip shop I have found in Southend, the staff are very friendly and the service is very fast.... the only thing is, it's very busy on a Friday and parking can be difficult. Excellent food.

Appalled at the quality of the chips I received tonight was very unimpressed The chips were hard and soggy, they tasted like old chip fat oil and just mank Ruined our dinner will definitely be reconsidering eating from there again

This kingfisher as been my local chippy for long as it opened Standard is good but tonight after long day we pop in 7.45pm ordered family food My chips were too much salt but that I can let go My fish horrible it's definitely sat on shelf more longer than time allows So burnt that it all batter burnt no fish If I wasn't so tired I would go back I hate chips but threw fish away Just hope it's one off never happens again

Half of Chips were all hard bits .and about 5 of ribs were burnt up.did not enjoy.reason i put 3 star .was because staff were polite and pleasant

Favorite fish and chip shop in walking distance of Southchurch, been going there for years, reasonable prices compared to other places, just a shame that they close at 8pm (like for real what take away place closes that early, especially when the google opening hours said 9pm)

So gutted I always order from here and there food is delicious but this time the chips were under cooked on every meal and the battered sausage was dried out gutted to as not had fish and chips in 4 months due to corona virus

Had a take away of plaice and chips which came to twelve pounds which is a lot to someone on disability. The plaice was covered in uncooked batter and the chips were rock hard, obviously been cooked more than once. I contacted the restaurant and gave them the chance to rectify but nothing. So be very wary of ordering from a business that doesn’t accept feedback and won’t offer refunds

I'm an old employee just wanted to say the guy who made the food never wore his mask whilst making the food and would occasionally throw some of the uncooked chips that would go onto the floor back in with the others.

Recently had takeaways weeks apart, both on Sundays when the regular bloke wasn’t there, and the chips were really awful, really greasy, not sure what the fryer staff are doing, but u can see the grease on the chips and the wrapping paper is greasy and the batter on the other item was soaked underneath, retraining required, I still feel ill 12 hours later, Feels like they are being lifted and chucked straight into a bag without being allowed to drain, not going in from now on unless bloke is there, he does ace food , but avoid if he’s not there

Fish and chips were fine, nothing to write home about. Saveloy wasn't great, nor was the burger. Kids meals have the beans dumped on top of the chips, rendering them a soggy mess.
