Kebab shop, open, great food, and even somewhere to eat it, nice.

Unsure if this business has changed ownership BUT. It seems the price goes up the qaulity and portion go down. I ordered a mixed kebab that mixed kebab comes with salad BUT it would appear the shop mistook my order for the mixed kebab with salad as a salad with a mixed kebab because I had more salad than kebab after paying £10.40 for the kebab with an additional £1.50 for a nan bread that was not edible in any shape or form. The only thing I can say that was good about my order was the cheesey chips and garlic mayo. Safe to say the reputation of this establishment if it isn't already at rock bottom it won't be long till it is. I will now be ordering from yummies in the future. The lamb donner is BEEF!

Will be the last time I'm having a delivery from here, I had to wait over an hour and a half for a doner kebab I would have turned away if I hadn't already paid. Would highly recommend yummies for anyone looking for a fast delivery of quality food, personally prefer king kebab for doner meat but shame they can't deliver at a reasonable time

We had Pulled off motorway and have ordered 2 large chicken doner with chips no salad when I open the box we had a box off chips just covered by a thin layer off chicken it's better if you go to the pizza express near this pour place

Pulled off motorway to try them. Staff unpleasant not very welcoming at all. Kebab for £9 was rubbish taken out of hot warming tins so definitely not fresh and worst of all it was only just warm not hot and considering I was in store it should of been boiling hot... donner tasted weird snd the chicken was nasty too

Found a hair in our pizza, called and they didn’t care. Was very rude, just said send a WhatsApp photo but it wouldn’t be resolved tonight, so I hung up and here we are!

We usually have kebabs or burgers which are so good. But decided to have a 12 inch meat feast pizza tonight for a change. The texture, topping and flavour was spot on, one of the best we have had for a long time, the edge of the pizza was chewy which we didn't eat but that was purely through choice there was nothing wrong with it. It was fully cooked thankyou🍕😋

Order a lamb shish and kofte kebab and cheesy garlic bread. Half of the tray (at first sight) was salad then when I picked up the meat it was hiding onions, I had a total of 5 pieces of meat which cost me £9.90 and an extra £3.90 for the garlic bread! Will never order again! Wish I could show you the photo

Very nice pizza from these guys, a little bit of a wait because they were really busy, which is always a good sign, Sat in the van outside and waited and they gave me a shout 10 mins later. Friendly staff and reasonable pricing too!!

The worse ever. Hour and a half wait and was cold.. This was a large.. Mint mayo burst inside bag...Half salad was missing.No tomato. No cucumber no onion. Never again

They don't accept card payments, don't wear masks, and the mayo is weirdly sweet. Overall not worth the effort you have to put yourself through.

Visited this kebab shop whilst staying in Monmouth for a weekend. When we entered I was served immediately, but my friends had to wait almost 20 mins for pretty much the same order and I had finished eating before they received their food. Quality was ok but service very slow.

Had family over with young children , ordered food to be delivered. 3 hours later still no food . When telephoned to ask where it was , their attitude was one of disgust to me , no apologies to say it’s going to be late . Leaving family and young children disappointed . Ordered food at 8pm , still no sign of it by 11pm . Would not recommend this take away .

Good Kaba shop clean and helpful staff

3 times I had to say I wanted a single burger with separate chips. He kept asking what I wanted on second burger. DIDN'T WANT SECOND BURGER. he didn't look pleaded either.

I was hosting family at home and placed an order online at 9 o'clock with a 60 minute delivery time, after 3 phone calls believing it was on the way, two and a half hours later it arrived, family had left hungry, to top it off the order was wrong and mostly inedible.

Love visiting this kebab shop.. the food is gorgeous and the staff happy and very polite. We have had deliveries and eaten inside and never had a bad meal

Can't thank these guys enough. We we're in a remote holiday cottage and our tesco delivery did not show up, waited until 11 and, faced going to bed with a great hunger.... I called king kebab and explained my predicament, they had finished delivering for the day but their driver was prepared to come all the way out to us to bring us a takeaway. Pizza was great too! Thanks guys, you are awesome

Shabby place, sticky tables and there's a huge bin literally in the middle of the room. Service was not particularly friendly in my case. To be fair I only tried one dish, doner kebab, but the quality of the meat was very, very poor. I don't know if doner meat is always like this but in comparison to German or Swiss doners this one was different, to say the least. The only good things were the salad and the onions which were fresh and the prices are not too high.

Ok. A drunk review is probably not the best but I loved the food tonight

The pizzas are great - made to order and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful and the service was quick. The lamb shish kebab was tasty, too.

I was dragged there by a friend after a night out in town almost against my will, as I really dislike Kebabs. the staff did its job, we ordered, they gave us the food. I ate, I felt sick within a few hours. No, it wasn't the alcohol consumed before as I only had one pint for the whole evening. Maybe it is only my own gut bacteria that cannot handle the rich fatty kebab food from any kebab shop and you guys will be fine. but never again for me.

Always been very hit and miss. Now not serving anything considered good. Cheapest kebab shop in Monmouth, but for a reason. Kebab doesn't look or taste like meat, and be warned: if you ask for sauce, expect them to put a huge amount on, probably to mask the taste. Chips are usually green and soggy, and the staff have a habit of not washing their hands after sneezing, coughing or handling raw foods. Be warned.

Bad news I have recently been speaking to a close family member who works at king kebab who has severe sickness and diarha, alltho the manager/owner is fully aware of this they are still allowing this person to work! If any1 has fallen ill wiv these symptoms then this is possibly where you have caught it from, it's a shame cause the food at king kebab is good and I thought there hygeine standards was higher than this, make your own call people but I shan't be eating there again

Hot sauce is very spicy, BUT THIS IS THE GREATEST KEBAB I'VE EVER HAD. THE CHICKEN IS TOO GOOD!!!❤❤❤😋😋😋

We popped in for a kebab after a night out. I ordered a lamb shish and donor combo with garlic bread. I got a box with the meat dumped in with no pitta and the garlic bread wasn't even half cooked. All this for £9.75. Absolutely rubbish kebab shop

Not one for posting on here but just had a delivery from King Kebab. Pizza toppings trashed in transit, kebabs items missing and wrong. Phoned back to discuss, lovely telephonist, couldn't be more helpful...unfortunate the owner then phoned back quite snotty not willing to resolve food issue... won't be going there again! Check your order before you pay!

The pita bread was dry, the salad was limited and the sauce was hot but not much flavour. Sorry but I won't be returning.

Went once, was decent enough... Went again, wasn't the same... Went the third time, what the heck happened? Chips were green, undercooked and soggy. The kebab didn't taste like any kebab I had ever tried. Then, stupidly tried it again being one of the only kebab shops in town. Even worse. I'd avoid unless you've had a hell of a lot of booze and you are prepared for a spell of illness.

Just yummy food perfect when you carve something fatty and junkie. With lovely staff. I can't help but feel people are crital because of the reputation the town has for being quite upper class. But thus is the type of place you'd find any normal part of the country. I love it!

Good food and the give the "bread" separately so you can fill it how you want. In the town centre close to shops pubs etc.

Have tried this place once and never again. The Donner meat looked anaemic and under cooked. The chips were all soggy and undercooked. My partner wouldent have anything due to the low score by the FSA (1)

I've had a few donner kebabs and pizzas from this place over the years. My sister rates the pizzas especially. All have been nice enough, though the last 'donner & chips' had too spicy chilli sauce (should have been a more average sauce). It's one of the few places that deliver in Monmouth and the quality is nowhere as bad as the few existing reviews say. I'd use it again.

I was drunk, I'm sure it was cooked. Was hot anyway ha ha. It's a kebab house and u r drunk, do u really care if it's clean or stuff. U always need food when u drunk

Husband ate a pizza here and was very ill afterwards (no, he hadn't been drinking) with what appeared to be food poisoning. We wouldn't come here again unless it looks a bit cleaner.

It's a kebab house - you don't visit it expecting gourmet food, but we did hope for properly cooked basic food from a clean environment. The food was pretty nasty - grease with everything, pittas soaked with water from the token salad, pizza bases just soggy. The salad involved vast quantities of onions and the dressing was gloopy and vile. Non-descript burgers hidden in enormous bread buns, again soggy from wet tasteless salad and sauce. Onion rings and chips were undercooked, pale and clogged together. The large mixed kebab was especially unpleasant with chunks of grisly, hard-to-identify 'meat'. There were no redeeming features since the service was surly and approximate - some of my friends' orders were not as asked for. The small seating area is also greasy and mucky looking, as are the general surroundings. Looks like a good scrub and some bleach may help. And it's not even cheap. If you've had 10 pints and are past caring then this might do. Otherwise, it's a no-brainer: go somewhere else.

Doner was even more than usually greasy and unpleasant.
