For the price, the best I have had in South Birmingham - the food was the best of type since we last visited Japan. Service was prompt, inobtrusive and helpful. Clean, bright without being soulless, family friendly and cheaper beer than the pub just up the road...

I came with my girlfriend and we were not disappointed. The ambience was lovely, the staff were friendly and the food was delicious. The sizzler was scrumptious and the cheesecake was one of the best I've ever had. We'll definitely return.

Fantastic restaurant. We were just driving by and took a chance on eating at the restaurant as we were going to eat elsewhere. The food was exceptional! We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere was second to none. Would recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic food at very decent prices! I've been coming here for a few years now (so even before the rebranding) and the food is consistently amazing, can't think of a single time I was disappointed! The owner/chef is so nice and always very welcoming. Popped in recently and tried the new Bento lunch box, can definitely recommend it!

Song was calming. I like quiet dining so this was a quiet and perfect Monday evening (8pm) experience for me. Service is a 4star because when I entered Noone was at the reception. I had to go find her in the kitchen area (only 1 person was working that night). The food came pretty fast. I didn't enjoy the jasmine tea as by the time it got strong, tea was already cold. Food is excellent. I enjoyed the pork texture and seasoning!!

This restaurant offers a fantastic blend of Korean and Japanese cuisine. The sushi and kimbab was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, while the Korean BBQ boneless was a standout, with tender meats and bold spices and Of course donburi was so amazing with healthy vegetable. They have vegan and gluten free option available which is outstanding 👏 The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff was friendly and efficient. Whether you’re in the mood for sushi or a hearty BBQ meal, or healthy food this place delivers a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic flavors from both cultures!

Sakura is swiftly becoming one of my favourite spots to eat in Moseley! Tasty Korean and Japanese food at a reasonable price. Staff are always very friendly and great location. Good portion sizes too. Would recommend !

The food quality, taste, and service are outstanding. It is a lovely atmosphere. We had 2 free starter, Korean Honey butter garlic chicken, and tofu pancake. They have special off in January only. We had Miso ramen and chicken yakisoba. I definitely come back. Thank you for the free starter.

Food tasty, but portion is very small.

Lovely food and very friendly service. We had gyoza, okonomiyaki, noodles and ramen. It was all really light. All the dishes were equally great. The ramen had a really deep flavour and had meltingly soft pork. Thank you for the meal ☺️

Tasty, warming food in a clean and pleasant atmosphere. Friendly staff and a good selection of food including veggie and vegan options. I stopped by for lunch and will definitely be back.

I went to this restaurant last week. Having visited many East Asian restaurants, I can confidently say this is a truly authentic Korean/Japanese restaurant, which is quite rare in Birmingham. The food quality is terrific—I especially enjoyed the kimbap, beef, and tofu pancake. Highly recommend! Note: Kimbap is only available on Thursdays at the moment.

I had a Miso ramen and sizzler It was very taste and freshly cooked. Stringly recommended!!! Definitley I will be back.

They use gluten free soy sauce so for gluten free guys it’s amazing! The beef sizzler was lovely. Also for everyone else the Katsu curry was a hit. Highly recommend!

I came with a friend who had never been to a Korean restaurant before and she loved it. My food was beautiful as always - I had my usual Korean friend honey and garlic chicken and tempura prawns. As ever cooked to perfection and flavourful in every bite. Loved coming here and the decor in Mosely is really lovely. I've only been to the one in selly oak before and ordered take away too. Massive fan and would recommend to anyone.

Great food and helpful waiter with the items we were unfamiliar with. We had starters, mains and sides for 5 with wine and beer for just over £30 per person. Good value.

Food is really delicious, authentic, and satisfying. The interior is nice and clean and staff are friendly. It's so great to have such a nice restaurant nearby. I highly recommend to give a go. Here is definitely the pride of our town.

Popped in as a family for a late lunch, had the Katsu, Topokki and Korean Fried Chicken Wings. Food was really delicious, reasonably priced and service was great - nearby parking is not possible on the narrow and busy road but that's sort of a general problem in Moseley - really recommended.

Ohhhh boy! This was really special. After having a long day, we needed to grab something, anything and Kimchi hit the spot 👏🏾 The service was bang on, the honey boneless chicken pieces I had blew my mind and the pork miso ramen 🫨 it’s definitely in my top theee ramens ever. Bravo kimchi! Bravo!

It was an authentic Korean cuisine👍 I had a yukgaejang (hot spicy meat stew), and it was soooooo delicious 👍 Highly recommend. How does a real Korean enjoy yukgaejang is mixing stew and rice... and then enjoying them together!

Delicious food and great value with a chilled atmosphere. I took my family here and the two front of house ladies (Sharon and Gera - so sorry if this is an incorrect spelling) were absolutely delightful. They interacted so beautifully and naturally with my little boy, playing hide and seek, and making paper aeroplanes - he had the best time. It was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be visiting again. Thank you, Kim Chi. First class!

Absolutely delicious, I've been to other Korean restaurants before, but when I tell you this is the best I've ever had, I mean it. I was in love at first bite, the food was absolutely delicious, if you have never tried the pork mandoo(dumplings) before, do they were heavenly, every single bite of food we had was perfection. The staff are very attentive and helpful, they made our experience even better, we are 100% going back again and I would definitely recommend this to anyone

5 star place for Korean food. May be a bit slow if you hit the peak hours. But overall, I would say top 2 of my Korean restaurant choices in birmingham.

The food was amazing (with great vegetarian options) and the dining experience was lovely. The service was particularly great, our waiter was a very sweet and friendly young man. Would highly recommend.

Super tasty food! We went on a quiet Thursday evening. Starters and main were brought out together and both of us are all for that type of shenanigan. Will go again as there is a fair chunk of choice from the menu.

I have visit this lovely restaurant in Moseley with friends. The staff truly cares about our experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted was so good (we have ordered ten menus with four people) especially Galbi tang. Absolutely the best meal we had while in Moseley. Highly recommend!

I really love the starters here, pork pancake, Pajeon and especially Korean Boneless chicken with honey butter garlic sauce. They are amazing! You guys have to try😋 Japche beef is my favorite main dish as well, so delicious!

I can't complain about food as it was delicious, but service needs some serious improvement. It took 20mins before we got menu, 35mins for a starter and over 1h before we got first main dish and only one person received it. My wife had to wait another 15-20mins for her food. Booking a table online was also a challenge. On a good side I can say it's very clean restaurant, but also feels empty and it has no unique character. I felt like I've been in hundred similar places. Oh, and I also had a trouble finding a spot to park my car, so be warned.

Absolutely wonderful experience, the presentation, taste, portion sizes and service were fault-free. I would be adding this restaurant to my favourites in Moseley. There have been very few places in the UK where I have been satisfied with customer service recently (seems to be a downward trend) and this is definitely one where I was pleased with the service.

Wonderful dinner in Kimchi. Love the food so much. We ordered Dolsot bibimbap, Pa Jeon, Kimchi Chije etc. Highly recommended to try their food.

I'm so glad to have come across Kimchi! Delicious Korean food, very friendly and polite service and reasonable prices. The lunch deal is particularly good value for money - £8.99 for miso soup, kimchi, the main meal of the day, and a soft drink!

One of the best Korean restaurants that I’ve found in Birmingham! The chicken wings with honey butter garlic sauce was perfect as a starter. We then had dolsot bibimbap and spicy pork sizzler as our mains. Every single dish was so good!

Delightful place, gorgeous food, pleasant staff. I discovered this place during the summer and have been back many times since. Very reasonably priced too, and I've never had a bad meal even though I experiment a lot, trying new things.

I went to this newly opened authentic Korean restaurant run by a Korean lady. The restaurant is lovely, chill, with simple decoration and serves good authentic Korean food！ I would say this little restaurant has brought Korea to uk in real deal！ fried chicken with homemade garlic sauce is addictive, chicken is moist and crispy. fried rice with good portion for a big man and seasoned to perfect bit. we added noodles and cheese into toppoki, the level rose to a roof you cannot reach！ there was also a generous amount of sammjeng came with dolsot bibimbap （stone pot rice） if you are a Korean food lover, this will be the best place to go. This review is written by a Hong konger, and I love Korean food. They really nailed it. And don't forget to say komsahameda after enjoy their food and service！

What a lovely little gem! Came here today for lunch and had some fried chicken, seafood pancake and beef bibimbap lunch special. The food was fresh, tasty and delicious! The chicken isn’t kfc - it’s a light crispy and lovely batter that isn’t greasy or heavy. I could eat loads of it! The pancake was very tasty! The bibimbap was soooo scrumptious. Lunch special comes with a soft drink and miso soup! The restaurant itself was clean and cozy. The whole place was super tidy even bathrooms were spotless. The service was friendly and prompt and not overbearing. Staff was knowledgeable and very nice! 5/5 Stars I will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu!

I dropped by Kimchi in Moseley today, sadly i only had time for a coffee as i was working nearby...the restaurant is very clean and the staff who served me were also very pleasant, next time iam in the area i will make sure i find the time to stay for some food..

There has been an explosion in the number of Korean restaurants in recent times and I've had mixed experiences, but I'd say this is the best I've been to so far in Birmingham. The food was delicious, with super fresh ingredients. I had bibimbap, which was really nice - but crucially, also felt really healthy, which isn't always the case with this cuisine (particularly if you like fried chicken as much as me). Really good service too - will definitely be back soon!
