Tina and the gang have been running the cafe for years, the experience shows, the food is fab, generous and reasonably priced. If you are looking for dainty this isn't the place for you, step away. The sandwiches are door stops, the big breakfast and drink for £8.50 is a belly buster, not intended for the average eater - CHALLENGE ACCEPTED !!! Lol Jo

Generally good food and drink available at the Museum - limited choice but freshly made and at a reasonable price.

Nice people and really good cakes Coffee a bit basic - but not expensive to be fair - and the fruit cake makes up for it

Off the train from Bridgnorth. A quick pint, a filled bun and a pint and back in the train! Just what we needed.

You know when it's good when you see railwaymen using this place rather than the company eatery. Apart from being in the excellent railway museum (free entry), it is a lovely and popular little cafe well worth a visit - as is the museum...

Finding somewhere for a coffee on a Sunday evening post 4.30pm that isn't a pub (and I've yet to find a pub with a decent coffee) outside of the biggest cities is a challenge. Having almost given up in Kidderminster town centre, passing the Severn Valley Railway site I noticed some lights. Pulling up and going inside I found a pub and two cafes, one on the old station concourse and another inside the adjoining KIdderminster Railway Museum. The museum is a quirky collection of rail signage and old equipment, and the small cafe uses original station benches. The menu includes toasted tea cakes, chilli, and home made cakes. The coffee includes an instant filter type which I found to be better than what you get out of most machines and franchises these days, and very competitively priced. I was really delighted to come across this at 5pm on a Sunday. It is open until the last steam train arrives, which can be as late as 6.30pm, depending on the time of year. Great independent cafe!

Visited without booking ,ordered and seated very quickly. The food arrived very nicely presented and was very tasty. We ordered extra tea and this also arrived very quickly.Well priced and the young lady doing the serving was very pleasant. Will be back again soon as the menu has some nice alternatives to standard full English.

Amazing Christmas decorations going up they have a lot more to go up yet, but we arrived on the first day of decorating and those were beautiful. It was a really friendly atmosphere and a lovely place to start the Christmas celebrations. We didn’t eat on this occasion so I can’t review the food, but we will definitely return

What a fabulous little gem! Front of house staff, Wendy and Charlie, so friendly and welcoming. Extensive menu - something to please everyone! Nothing was too much bother for them, and we sat and drunk tea and coffee and nattered away after our meal. Didn't feel rushed at all! Chocolate Brownie was amazing! All in all thank you for a lovely evening!
