Tina and the gang have been running the cafe for years, the experience shows, the food is fab, generous and reasonably priced. If you are looking for dainty this isn't the place for you, step away. The sandwiches are door stops, the big breakfast and drink for £8.50 is a belly buster, not intended for the average eater - CHALLENGE ACCEPTED !!! Lol Jo

Generally good food and drink available at the Museum - limited choice but freshly made and at a reasonable price.

Nice people and really good cakes Coffee a bit basic - but not expensive to be fair - and the fruit cake makes up for it

Off the train from Bridgnorth. A quick pint, a filled bun and a pint and back in the train! Just what we needed.

You know when it's good when you see railwaymen using this place rather than the company eatery. Apart from being in the excellent railway museum (free entry), it is a lovely and popular little cafe well worth a visit - as is the museum...

Finding somewhere for a coffee on a Sunday evening post 4.30pm that isn't a pub (and I've yet to find a pub with a decent coffee) outside of the biggest cities is a challenge. Having almost given up in Kidderminster town centre, passing the Severn Valley Railway site I noticed some lights. Pulling up and going inside I found a pub and two cafes, one on the old station concourse and another inside the adjoining KIdderminster Railway Museum. The museum is a quirky collection of rail signage and old equipment, and the small cafe uses original station benches. The menu includes toasted tea cakes, chilli, and home made cakes. The coffee includes an instant filter type which I found to be better than what you get out of most machines and franchises these days, and very competitively priced. I was really delighted to come across this at 5pm on a Sunday. It is open until the last steam train arrives, which can be as late as 6.30pm, depending on the time of year. Great independent cafe!

Food was tasty, but sadly when i ordered a ham salad sandwich. I thought it would come in a t-cake like majority of cafés ive dined in.. But other than the bread, it was tasty. Fast service & clean.

The food arrived very nicely presented and was very tasty. We ordered extra tea and this also arrived very quickly.Well priced and the young lady doing the serving was very pleasant. Will be back again soon as the menu has some nice alternatives to standard full English.

Popped in for a quick drink, as we were stopping a few doors down, and ended up staying til kicking out time. Everyone was so friendly, felt like we were with friends. What a great little pub. Just a shame we weren't around for the Sunday lunch

Good food, we got it delivered before. One of the big pluses is that this location is open more than a lot of other places in town. They have a very good range of options, including ones for vegeterians and vegans. If you're in kiddy, give this place a go.

Booked a table for Sunday lunch on Saturday and was very glad that we did so. Everything about the experience was lovely. Excellent and friendly hospitality, our waitress had a lovely personality and was very efficient. The food was really well cooked and nicely presented and hot. All in all a fabulous place for those as hoc Sunday lunches served in a homely style and lively surroundings. Highly recommended.
