Friendly service, excellent food, prompt service, great screens Staff were warm and welcoming, I was swerved efficiently & the food quality was excellent. Was only passing & I’m delighted I did. Well done Kickers

Close to station so thought worth a punt with some peeps from out of town. Service pretty surly in the main. Coudl do with more staff behind the bar. Food like sub-Yankee Burger. Feels like it wants to be a chain, no soul happening here - go Bob Carvers and save your £££, or go to somewhere on Paragon Arcade to impress someone, but don't go here

Second visit for me. Organised by someone else as a place to meet on a particularly wet and windy Saturday afternoon when we would have been at cricket. Not my usual type of place as I like old fashioned pubs but this place was pleasant enough and I was pleased to see it was well used because a lot of places are struggling at the moment. Not impressed with the bar choice as I am not a lager drinker and the Boddingtons on offer is like drinking lemonade, and the Guiness was average at best, but all the others enjoyed the Camden lager, or whatever it was. Don't like card only establishments, and this is one. What is wrong with cash? I found it a bit noisey to be honest with the background music blaring away, but no-one else seemed to be bothered. Loads of screens to watch sport, and they had golf and rugby league on, we asked for the cricket to be shown and the staff, who were good and attentive all afternoon, obliged. We ordered food, sharing stuff, which was decent enough, and stopped long enough to order some more later. The individual plates looked good. So in a nutshell, for me, one who wouldn't usually use this type of establishment ( on age) I found it refreshingly good with a holiday type of atmosphere, which on a cold wet Saturday afternoon in Hull takes some achieving it is also obviously popular and a good addition to Hull City Centre. It also seemed to appeal to the younger types and it was good to see families in there eating too. I'd probably return with the grandkids.

came with my family for a music quiz night. what can I say absolutely bloody brilliant. I recommend to anyone. staff are brilliant. the atmosphere was just fantastic. I can't big this place up anymore . we had free shots and even free food. the quiz host was absolutely hilarious, came home talking about it and telling everyone. food, staff , beer and atmosphere 10/10 love it!!

1st time trying this place, and and wasn't disappointed. We came to the bottomless crisp party. Brilliant concept, and a definite must for crisp lovers. So many different types of crisps. The atmosphere was really good, the Dj played some really good music throughout the night. The normal food menu looked good as well, the fajitas Wednesday offer looks worth a try. Drinks not badly priced either. Staff were all really friendly. Would recommend a visit. We will certainly be back. Thanks again for a great night.

Fantastic venue the most hospitable of staff gentleman behind the bar couldn’t have been more accommodating 10/10 would recommend will definitely be back thank you for everything mate ❤️

me and the girlfriend was on our first date together on the 28th, we was looking for food places and a nice vibe, didn't wanna get disturbed with the hull game (which later we found out it wasn't being televised lol) this place had some nice music which wasn't really too loud, i myself have sensory issues and it didn't bother me at all, the 2 girls working seemed so friendly and welcoming we had the plain jane burger which came with fries was definitely a decent portion, we then decided to have some cocktails, the cocktails themselves we really enjoyed they actually come with some cute gimmick stuff on them which you can keep like little disco balls i'd highly recommend this place 10/10 didn't have any issues at all and the toilets was very clean

First time visit, exceeded expectations. Always been put off by staff constantly smoking right outside the door. Very unappealing having to walk through a cloud of smoke to enter a bar. Had the fajitas, they were lovely. My friend had a Pie. Definitely some of the best food we have had in town. The burgers looked delicious too. Tried their love island cocktails on recommendation. Wish we had stuck to their normal menu or had wine. Won't be trying them again. Tasted cheap for £9.50.

Went for the football... this place is fairly new so had high hopes as Hull Town Centre has always struggled with bars that are welcoming and friendly for all. This place didn't buck the trend - after seeing some dodgy guys in the toilets up to no good our party got some aggro from another group for some imagined slight - staff didn't seem to want to intervene. Food was bland and nothing was marked as local, home-made or otherwise. Fair enough people want fast food when they go out to an 'American' bar but no healthy options here and it's joining a long line of places that do it much better. Beer options really thin on the ground and again, nothing local, nothing even leftfield just the usual rubbish. Overall - avoid!

Myself and 3 friends pre booked a table for 9:45am with the aim of watching the World Cup games for 12 hours straight. When we arrived we was obviously the first ones there but we were brilliantly catered for from start to finish. The staff were lovely and friendly throughout (we were there that long we saw the staff shift turnover!) they regularly checked in with us and kept up conversations too. We ordered food to cover brunch, snacks and eventually tea with desserts. In total we ordered about 8 different items from the menu and each thing was excellent. Tasted lovely, huge portions and cooked in a timely manner. Extra kudos to the bar staff lady who made my milkshake. I got a bit of stick from my friends for ordering it and they joked and asked for a cocktail umbrella ti go with it, the lady joined in with the joke and brought us one. We even asked for the NFL to be on certain screens and was a bit picky asking for the HD channels but the staff couldn’t be more willing to cater. We would highly recommend this place even if you’re not interested in sports, come for the food as it was magnificent. A special mention

Visited for the first time to watch Huddersfield v Hull City. Staff were great, welcoming and informative. Had the "Kicks" pilsner which was cold and refreshing. Wherever you sit in the bar you have clear view of a TV screen. Once seated we had table service which was great & staff were efficient. Tried the Chilli dog which was delicious and got a mountain of fries with it. Mate had the Pie n Pint offer for £12. Said it was superb. Really enjoyed our afternoon in Kicks. Will be back.

Great sports bar, really welcoming and friendly staff, nice food, love watching football here as there are plenty of tv’s and you can see a screen from wherever you are sat.

Beautiful new bar and grill in the city centre, something that was missing. Wonderful staff too, nothing was too much trouble. Our server (can't remember her name she was a blonde lass) was lovely. Greeted us as soon as we entered and didn't leave us too long to order. Made some suggestions too. The cocktails were superb and for the prices very good value.
