Khan's Tandoori in West Lothian

Used to be hands down my go to. Ordered pizza and garlic sauce,sauce looked lumpy with bits in,tasted sour and off. Called in,was told the garlic sauce was mixed with mint sauce???!!! And no offer of replacing it or refunding it. I ordered garlic sauce, I've no idea who would mix mint of all things with garlic,so couldn't use the sauce totally disgusting, then worse still they told me they had been doing it for months,as if I shoulda known that. So long story short ..I'm done with that. So sad actually the amount of pizzas and loyalty to this shop for over 5 yrs, wouldnt have seen the day of a bad review, that's changed,and for just eat encouraging this cost cutting behaviour, won't be using them again either.

Staff very friendly. I go in to pickup my wife's take away. She prefers Khan's to all others, and we live 3 miles away from them. Food always (chicken bhuna)good and she loves the naan bread he makes.

I have been using Khans for over 2 years and I have never been so disappointed as I have been tonight. I asked for the curry to be mild and over the course of the last couple of weeks they havent been making it mild but I have just put up with it. It was so spicy I could hardly talk. I phoned the restaurant and the womans attitude made the situation worse. Saying she asked the chef it they read the instructions when they are obviously going to say they did, when they clearly didnt. After being, what I consider to be condescending, with the conversation going no where I asked what was being done with the meals as we werent happy with the spiciness of the food. Reluctantly she agreed to replace them. Needless to say I am not happy about this as I have always enjoyed Khans but after tonight I wont be back - I will be looking for a new Indian take away to order from twice a week, were they do read the instructions and actually care about their customers instead of challenging them. Do better Khans - whoever the woman is answering your phone needs spoken too!

My son introduced me to this place yesterday. You have seen and tried the rest, now try the best in town for kebabs and pizza. Lots of take aways in this area but the quality and quantity of this is second to none. Well worth a visit if you have not been there before. I will return.

Curry was very watery and had one bit of lamb in it. Was meant to be a mix of lamb and chicken

Person who delivered was really nice however it was INSANELY EARLY which I wouldn’t mind if it said it would come at that time, but it didn’t! Khan needs to improve his work ethic or I will not be happy. I’m Usually one for abit of Indian food and I ordered a mixed hogie for me and my wife as she likes chicken tikka and I like donor meat and I must say these were up to standard with shas palace (Kilmarnock) however the bread was subpar.

1st timer, usually use Dhillons but thought I'd have a change. Tracker advised 70 minute called after 100minutes, think they were expecting the call, knew who I was before I spoke and was told driver had just left, arrived within 10mins, Wife had cheese burger meal, not as hot as she likes, didn't get the Irn Bru, relish was just tomato sauce,, Me, King mixed Kebab ,reasonable size, donner a bit dry and warmish, chicken tikka was hot and spicy and very tasty as was the Pakora sauce. Not drastic but don't think I'll be back.

Gave it a try again after 3 years and still not changed kebab meat like old shoe leather n crispy , food was look warm , avoid

If you’re willing to wait 25 mins longer than an already crazy quoted delivery time of 70 minutes then this is the place for you! I was craving that bangledeshi bhuna sauce to be pumped through my veins! I was left like a heroin addict waiting peering out the window waiting for his fix! The food itself was great, tikka masala was a mild korma at best, rather futile. Sort your wait times out and I would consider reordering, SPICY NIGHTS next time I get the Indian jakey shakes I think it will be !

Always amazing food . Loads of dishes to choose from . I have loads of favourites - chicken pakora, mixed kebab with garlic nan, grill box , pizza, calzone, curries . Great service and very friendly staff. No 1 takeaway in Bathgate by far . I definitely recommend

Don’t not buy from here, lamb korma honestly tasted like someone had eaten it then vomited it up , it was disgusting, chicken pakora mega greasy, with no onions or salad, been eating from here for few years now and it always seems to be a busy night the food goes seriously downhill , I spent £30 and at most 2 bites were eaten , I might aswell thrown the £30 away .

I have emailed with my concern asking for a refund as I did not receive my order. I tried to phone to cancel once it went past the order time as I was not longer going to be in, however the phone kept going to voicemail. How can I organise a refund?

Absolutely great food! The rice, the naans, popadoms and the fantastic flavoursome curries that contained tender and tasty pieces of lamb!

Why do these places take your order if they cant deliver it on time then they take phone off so you cant phone them should be closed down by the licensing board

We ordered tons of times from them, always happy with the food and with very quick deliveries. Lately we had to call every time after 1h to check what happened and each time the food hadn’t left their premises. I’m not sure what changed but they seem very unorganised now. I don’t think I’ll be ordering again for a while, I’m tired of being kept waiting for ages…

Always get the set meal for two which is more than enough to have left overs for the next day! Love the cheesy garlic Nan as well it’s top notch. Thanks again for another lovely dinner.

Oh,, So Good ! Tandoori mixed grill was excellent Lamb & chicken excellent quality, kebab meat also 👍 great quality, korma curry & rice also really delicious,, without a doubt the best Friday night takeaway I'v had in Bathgate recently., Highly recommended.

Left my food outside without even a phone call saying it was there!, I’ve been in doors all evening and haven’t heard the door , a phone call or something would’ve been grand

The pizza was ok but it was delivered more than 1 hour after the expected time. It was clearly forgotten and only after I called did they start to make it.

For all I could eat ANYTHING on your menu, the Mrs is the funniest most picky eater ever, but she LOVES the pizza I always order her. And to quote her: “this is the best pizza outside of Italy!” Nice, thin,not doughy & super tasty, crispy crust which she loves. The delivery guys are always brilliant. Quick and friendly. Keep up the great work guys & in the name of the wee man, BEVER CHANGE YOUR PIZZA MAKING TECHNIQUE. 999/10 ANY day of the week.
