Worst chippy, I’ve ever had. Food delivered at 4:45pm and the pizza scrunch was a reheat from yesterday, couldn’t cut it let alone eat it. Brick hard outside and soggy inside. Chips are soggy, horrible colour and the taste was vile. Can’t believe a chippy in 2024, still does reheats. Save your money and defo don’t eat at Livi express

Food absolutely disgusting. DO NOT ORDER. Fish raw and covered in bones, chips so greasy and horrid. Service is awful brought up my concerns and was just passed around to different people and refused a refund for the raw meal i was served. such a money hungry greedy disgusting business, £40 to make us all feel ill. Thank livi express👍🏻

I've decided this place does one of the best Pizza in West Lothian, very good proper ingredients! One of my go-to places in the local area for a very tasty pizza, kebab/burger or indeed just straight fish and chips, always fresh and tasty.

Worst chippy in Livingston. Far too expensive for cheap and nasty food. AVOID AVOID AVOID !!! Very sad business owner who has to get his COOK to leave a review.

I went to this chippy with my family best chippy I have hand ever

I order pizza normal with ham and I got some horrible(halal) ham propobly beef. I'm not sure becouse it taste like pate. We are in Scotland we like Pork ham and salami here. If u give not pork u should tell me that it's something different something disgusting. 99% people here eat normal pork ham and salami. Last time I order something in this place.

Cold and stale “large” fish and chips , terrible , used to be the best chippy in town , never again

I wasn’t personally there as I ordered on an app but overall it was okay, came delivered fine, in a decent time and was still hot. But the kebab tasted rotten and the chips tasted strange. I also had battered mushrooms and pizza which were both pretty good but seriously I could barley manage to eat more than two mouths of the kebab, it just tasted so strange.

Just ordered scampi and chips and tub of curry sauce was £3:60 and the tub was only half full and the chips were all black , called them and the manager wasn’t interested first time there and won’t be back

Just ordered for the first time will now be the last overpriced so called homemade burger and disgusting chips do yourself a favour go somewhere else only giving stars for the girl at other end of phone

Local chippy Not the best place but for sure not the worst in the area.

Can be a bit pricey like £1.60p for a can of juice

Used to be top notch but recently has become lacklustre and lacks the same quality it used to have, was getting from this chippy all the time but now have moved on due to dissatisfaction from the last Few orders, don’t know what happened to the quality as it seemed to have plummeted

Giving 1 star because you have to, this place doesn’t even deserve 1 star! Absolute disgrace of a takeaway! Not only is it extremely expensive it Took nearly two hours to come (22.30 it arrived) after 3 calls to the shop, each time I spoke to 3 different people who were extremely unhelpful and just kept saying driver was on way! When driver arrived she seemed to be out her face slurring her words, squeezing past the cars in drive (when we have a path) to then say she didn’t see the cars whilst laughing and joking with her friend who also came out of her car! Food was freezing cold and ended up in the bin! WILL NOT be ordering from here again!

Used this chippy for ten years now, but won’t be back ordered a large fish super at £9.50. Got two of the smallest fish I’ve ever seen. I called up to complain about this and was told that’s exactly what you get. This is just a rip off.

I ordered the food 2 hours in advance so that the whole family could eat together, it was supposed to be delivered at 6.10pm and I got it before 5pm and was supposed to leave a few minutes before it was delivered. I took this order because I was in a hurry but the fish was very greasy and the chips didn't look like chips ...It was shredded potatoes or something that was supposed to look like potatoes. I ordered food from Livi Express for the first time and I won't do it again because it was bad and over an hour and a half ago which has never happened to me...I wanted to eat a meal with family, but someone in the kitchen must have been in a hurry...🤦‍♀️👎

A regular customer so decided to try something different We Got usual single special fish For a change Spaghetti bolonese with garlic bread, pakora and a half fried pizza supper The fish was over cooked, garlic bread and pakora burnt and spaghetti wasn't too bad did enjoy the pizza supper but will be sending stuff back next time it comes like that!!!!FIRST BAD TAKEAWAY FROM YOU,S SINCE WE STARTED ORDERING FROM YOURSELVES

expensive Charger £4.8 for the single batter sausage, Fish not fresh, Got told the oil have beef dripping add on, not suitable for vegan, Won't go again

Ordered a pizza crunch, batter was over cooked which wasn't an issue but when you're pulling a hair from inside a chip, sorry that ruined the order.

Beef dripping does the job right. Crispy batter and tasty chips.

I think the very least you should expect is to get what you ordered. Me: orders garlic pizza bread without cheese (I ordered other things too) 20 minutes later delivered garlic bread with cheese Me on the phone: you sent the garlic bread with cheese LE: let me speak to the chef …. LE: the chef said he put a small sprinkle of cheese on Me: I can’t eat cheese LE: ….. Me: you sell garlic pizza bread and garlic pizza bread with cheese. I ordered the one without LE: let me speak to the chef …. LE: we will put another name one in for you and it will be with you shortly. 40 minutes later (twice the time it took to deliver the original full order) garlic bread shows up after all other food has been eaten Great stuff

Just had their food, best kebabs, wraps we have ever tried in Britain so far xx We we’re travelling to Scotland from London and have tried several kebab shops, this was best ine so far xx Know where to get food next time in Edinburgh 💕

Absolutely disgusted with my order today I order a chicken kabab and the chicken was raw I’ve ordered from here before but this time very disappointed today

Tried the calzone here for the first time last week and was delighted, absolutely delicious. Ordered again here tonight and have to say the quality was in total contrast. Calzone burnt on top and chicken over cooked and dry. Really disappointed as have been raving about this place since my last order. The Calzone was clearly over cooked, disappointing that rather than making a fresh one, the box lid was closed and sent substandard.

Got a kebab delivered food was fantastic but the one thing that put a wee smile of my face was the wee had wipe they sent with it loved it

What I want to know is has this chippie changed hands? I ask because I have been ordering here for years and always enjoyed but recently it's been awful and I find it hard to believe that kadir would allow food to go out in the way it is, and considering how much I spend since there is 6 of us is just not good enough. unfortunately we have had to start going elsewhere, such a shame

Both rump steak and pizza scrunchie ruined due to staffs inability to put a piece of plastic over the sauce to stop the packaging sticking. As such when the paper was removed it took all the batter off both rump steak and pizza. Shocking lack of common sense from a chippy that generally makes good food

My mate ordered this for a fiver... half the topping is stuck to the paper. So basically paid for the crust! Shocking value for money!!

Love this chippy. Best in Livi (and I've tried them all!) Food is fresh and crisp and the staff are lovely. Delivery is quick too!

Spent 20 mins asking female on the phone if u got half smoke sausages with a supper was told yes many times other and repeated my self several times but not surprise again they faild sent me half smoked sausage on a supper and a single sausage get this in dedridge close buy . not far at all and 18.50 for a single sausage and a full smoked sausage supper which was half smoked sausage and the staff where so rood and not helpful at all . Will order from mama Mia from now on as there prices aren't nearly as high and I get what I order each time plus more that's A chippy

I just got a fish supper and it was bloody fantastic.. best chippy in livi .. iv tryed them all in Livingston and this is the only one for me

It’s been a while but I ordered a stuffed crust chicken and mushroom pizza. It was superb!! Hot and hit the spot! My dog was not impressed she didn’t get any. Thank you

ordered a fedo came melted, one word disappointed

My order was so cold when it arrived . I opened the munchie box up the pizzas base had no cheeses on it is as hard as a rock .kebabs meat so like dry it was like chewing someone a old boot Chips were reheats from the night before My food is absolutely disgusting tonight. tried call but has no after paying £29.00 STAY AWAY After tonight meals This is the worst food That i have ever had off livi express This will be the last time i order from livi express I want a full refund

Chips were dried out and unevenly cooked. Salad for kebab was already brown. Would not recommend.

My favourite chippy. All burgers are homemade and are nice, thick and tasty.

Fish was excellent, in fact, it was superb. Chips a bit soft though, could possibly have been finished at a higher oil temp.

Decent pizza on fresh base, also, I love the chicken pakora.

Very quickly became a fave! delicious hot food and the chicken kebabs are always fab!!

Watch your money and change very sleekit wee place just got a single fish and a sausage supper..got stung for £12.70 did think at the time is was a bit expensive but was distracted by the gang of teenagers hanging around outside 15 plus phoned and got utter cheek and the chip portion on the sausage supper was ridiculously tiny ...will NEVER be back this is a true review not a fake one 100% ..

Ordered through Just eat, forgot a couple items but were happy to sort and deliver to us, the staff were so nice on the phone and found delivery driver funny. I definitely recommend you try the homemade burgers from there, you really cant get any better.

A rlly nice chippy with some nice options and staff are rlly lovely but the sausage supper i had was a bit bland the last time and i dont know if ill get it again. Even with some salt and pepper it was still bland. Mabye add some seasoning into the sausage or the batter, buy new sausages or just something to add a bit of flavour. I know its a chippy and not a 3 star restaurant but i would definitely do something else to the food as ave went to other chippies in the area and their food was alot tastier. Would DEFINITELY recommend though, rlly nice chippy.

Awesome doner kebab amazing fish and chips

Disgusting!! Phoned for collection asked for no battered mushrooms in the Munchy box and they were in it all the pakora was rock solid, chips were soggy, partner took 1 look at it and wouldn’t eat any of it!

Avoid this place like the plague. Massive increase in prices, with no corresponding increase in portion size and/or quality. £30 to feed two people. I've spent less to feed 4 from Dominos. Save your money, and order from Marinis, or Marmaris, or practically anywhere else in Livingston to get better quality and better portions for a fraction of the price. Really disappointed, will not be ordering again. It's a shame - Used to be my go to place.

Actually I'd give 0 if available, had a fish supper chips was ok, parts of the batter was like a brick heck knows how long it had been sitting. Ditto I eat it yip I'd have eaten horse meat if it was offered.

Pretty decent chippy. Ended up going here 3 or 4 times in the 3 weeks I was temporarily living in Livingston. It's not the sort of place you'd go out of your way to get to but if you're in the area and don't fancy cooking then it's decent chippy food

Good customer service very friendly

Illegally charge a "service charge" for using a credit card (regardless of value). Food is cold, expensive and slow (even when waiting in the shop). On the (minor) plus side, when you reheat it is fairly nice. You can order online and get a discount (even although paying with credit card) but the website is totally insecure, meaning your CC details are visible to anybody.

I ordered chicken strips (which I always order) and the restaurant failed to provide information that they had changed the chicken strips to chicken goujons and they are absolutely disgusting. Never been so disappointed with a meal from livi express

Jack of all trades. Does the lot. Chips kebabs etc. Not bad plus free parking outside and right next to to the convenience store so you can order your kebab and while they sort it out go next door and get the cans of lager in.

Well im sooo disappointed...I hv went into livi express lots as a cust decided tonight we would order, omg it arrived luke warm hv had to put oven on to heat!!! Called and spoke to manager no apologies just it shouldn't be cold thts all i can say i asked him to come and taste as joke!!! But end of day no sorry nothing.. Well i wont be bk apology not no cust services...😡

awful service i would avoid at all costs, an hour and a half to have an order delivered, the order when delivered was freezing( i had to reheat and it was not that good ) and when i called to complain I was told they were sorry and would give me a free bottle of juice the next time i order, I will not be getting my free bottle of juice as i will never be buying from here again

Really good chipshop! They are currently doing a Diane Burger special which is delicious!!! Quality is good and the staff are very friendly!
