Automatic screens to order a bit vague you can't order exactly what you want service was friendly but the kfc model isn't brilliant you do t k ow what you are getting untol it's handed to you it's a chicken lottery I like the coating but would be good to get the piece of chicken you prefer

I had came here with my best friend hoping to enjoy a tasty meal. The waiting time was atrocious and when i was trying to eat my dry, over-cooked, hard food, this large man was sat beside us and did a massive burp. We were in disgust we were gagging and large green smelly smoking cloud came wafting over us. AWFUL

Always great food, good service and food hot, unlike other well known takeaways where the food is often cool.

Stood waiting for someone to take my order staff are pre occupied with there just eat orders had to phone to place an order while at the checkout after 20/25 minutes order was placed 10 minutes for meal to be prepared minus the drinks I had to interrupted staff to establish where our bottle of water was then I was presented with flavour less 7up and a large pepsi that was the previous ladys order. On a positive note after the poor service and the and cold taste less beverage the meals where both nice Update poor response from kfc no need in hoping our next visit is a better experience it is apparent this particular branch needs much improvement I would personally start with the management and staff

Food has dropped in standard and lot smaller peices of chicken and young staff very unprofessional handling hair and not washing their hands long wait seemed the blind leading the blind

I recently visited the KFC in Skegness, and it was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. First off, we decided to sit in, thinking we'd get our meal promptly. Unfortunately, it took an agonizing 30 minutes just to receive our order. For a fast-food restaurant, this wait time is completely unacceptable. When we finally got our food, we thought the worst was behind us, but we were sorely mistaken. The state of the restaurant was shocking. The toilets were absolutely disgusting—nappy bins were overflowing, and it seemed like they hadn't been cleaned in ages. The bins in the store were also overflowing with trash, and the entire place was messy and unkempt. It was clear that cleanliness is not a priority at this location. To make matters worse, the staff, including someone named Abbie, were incredibly rude and unhelpful. When we needed assistance, they simply ignored us, pretending like we weren't even there. None of the other staff members were wearing name tags, but they were just as unpleasant—rude, standoffish, and clearly uninterested in providing any sort of customer service. Overall, this experience was a complete disaster from start to finish. I would strongly advise anyone thinking about eating here to reconsider. There are plenty of other places in Skegness where you can get a meal without the dreadful service and filthy environment we endured. I won't be returning to this KFC ever again. The service is as terrible, the “restaurant” was so unhygienic - reallt surprised their hygiene rating was a 5*. Clearly just for show. This is a FRANCHISE owned by someone with initials DT - they also own another kfc in Grantham (Harlaxton road) and the reviews and outcomes are also the same here… no wonder - poor management. If you have great hygiene standards, you would have someone emptying the bins as and when needed and doing a routine check every 1-2 hours to keep on top of it Don’t eat here.

Cold, hard and over cooked chicken served in a dirty environment with food all over the floor. Full/overflowing clearing station bins. Waited ages for the food, when we eventually got our order it was just shoved at us. The seating area was a freezing temperature too. All in all, this was the worst dining experience we’ve suffered for many a year, everything was simply awful 🫣😔

Ordered a delivery half the food didn’t turn up after being on hold for 45 minutes got told they was nothing they could do will never order from them again and would advise others not to

Something is very wrong here. Senior Management need to take a look at their business practices. They close at 11.30pm on a Friday, just been in and ordered a desert and coffee after paying I am told we don't have any hot drinks you can switch to fizzy or get refund. I asked why and was told the machine takes ages to clean, it does not take 40 minutes plus the one in wetherspoons is similar and takes 5-6 mins, who knows when they turned it off it could have been 8pm! A chap came in after me to order some food and was told its a 45 minute wait for food.. in a fast food restaurant, wtf! . . This was done solely to put him off ordering as the staff smirked at each other. They had cleared up, no food was ready, ovens switched off and cleaned with chairs on tables... they may as well of had their coats on and turned the lights off. This is very poor, if you state you are open until 11.30 then you should offer the same choice as the rest of the day until closure, then clean up and rinse coffee machines etc once the door is locked, it's part of the hospitality trade I'm afraid yes you will not leave until 40 minutes after closing perhaps, but that's part of your job, if you don't like it change profession. the customer should come first at all times and I'd hope someone higher up reads this and looks at your takings for the last hour of the day, and checks cctv to see just how much custom you are turning away at this branch with your tactics to get home ASAP.

Forgot half our order took so long to arrive aswell and only one person was on the cashier

Messed up my order missing 8 hot wings, when I called them I was given the don't get rude treatment for asking for my money back. Chips have always been soggy , someone needs to help this site hire more staff they always seem low on staff or food. And probably some better managers, someone who pushes more.

Fast service clean and tidy just becoming super expensive now for takeaway

After waiting in a que at the drive through for over 10 minutes with 1 car in front of me I was asked at the speaker to park up and come in to order delaying our service further. Unfortunately this is not the first time the service has been terrible at this restaurant. I have had similar experiences several times before and have given them the benefit of the doubt to many times now I won't be using this restaurant again. Do not recommend.

If you love kfc like me I would avoid skegness branch long long wait for the wrong meal sad thing is its always the same after several optimistic visits

I visited kfc in Skegness 22 th November 2024 for our dinner and the food was not nice and very greasy and we paid £4 for 2 latte you bet it would be for a full cup but it was half full cup

I was a bit apprehensive after reading other reviews, but new to the area and wanted a KFC. It was early evening, the service was quick and polite, restaurant is very clean and the chicken burgers are probably the best we have had from a KFC. Everything was very fresh and tasty. Chips were warm by the time I got back but that was expected. All in all, a very pleasant experience and I will be back.

Took 1 hour 20 minutes to get food. The 2 staff serving was rushing round sorting uber eats and delivery order's first instead of looking after the 30 or so customer's that had paid and waiting for there order's. ( 1 customer only ordered a coffee that took 35 mins). Yes it's out of season for coastal towns but 2 serving 1 cooking and another walking round like he was frightened to do anything. Also asked for owner / franchise operators number and was refused so will contact kfc head office instead.

How does a KFC not have gravy it’s the main reason to got here

Went in for tea before a show at the Embassy. Quick service. Food great. Clean and tidy. Not very busy. Would go again.

First things first - the chicken was extremely greasy & dripping in fat. We had to get 6 paper towels to place the chicken on so it soaked up the hot fat. On the positive side it was very hot. Not due to the place being overly busy . The chips were a bit wrinkled & not fresh .. but luckily it was a paltry portion . Very small portion for a person. Ok for a toddler. Didn't even fill the paper chip-bag/holder the 'fries' get served in. Despite 'ordering in', the food was served in a paper bag which filled up in the bottom with the fat from the chicken. No tray. No paper plate. No serviettes. Not asked if I wanted a straw for my drink, serviette, mayo, ketchup .. nothing. The staff seemed sulky + unhappy. Free Mayo & Ketchup kept behind the counter , hidden from view. Had to ask for them .. No serviettes included. Chicken this fatty/greasy definitely needs wet wipes - which I believe are no longer done at KFC. Cleaner was keeping the place clean though. Toilets were lovely. Cannot recommend for food or drink.

Poor experience slow to get food waited 5-10 mins bits of order ready then waiting on remainder and still didn't get what was ordered swapped beans for corn but got beans in order seemed to have no urgency in getting orders out

If I could give no stars I would. 25 minute wait for food. When it finally arrived it was awful. Lukewarm soggy overseasoned chips. My zinger burger was drowning in spicy mayonnaise so the bread was soggy, the coating to the burger was soggy. Won't be going back.

The food was cold, yes they changed it, but that wasn't hot. The drink was awful. You couldn't drink it. A few people complained, but they would not remove it from the menu. It really was awful 😖

The staff at this restaurant are shocking. Never smiling, slow, looking miserable. No attention at all. The restaurant wasn't even busy at that time and the place was a mess. Tables left to clean, the floor all dirty too and once again no sympathy at all from the staff. The food was not bad but we waited 20 minutes to be served and with stuff missing. Never again.

Just came to this KFC 2 get summit 2 eat Ordered Mighty bucket Then when we get round 2 the next window & we paid 4 it Then the woman says 2 us we will have 2 wait 20 mins 4 the chicken 2 get “gutted” when clearly chicken comes in bits already Chickens don’t get slaughtered in KFC do they Don’t think so It put us right off our dinner But gladly they gave us a refund which is good I guess But the service is absolutely dreadful I must say Everyone avoid this place at all costs Bloody fuming 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Been here plenty of times & usually praise the staff & food. Today I got cold & soggy chips, and for the 2pieces of chicken meal I was given 2 little fatty drumsticks. When I said I’m normally served a piece of breast and a thigh/drumstick I was rudely told ‘you get what you’re given’ as though I was Oliver Twist in the workhouse. Rip off & rude. It wasn’t as though it was busy either, they could have sorted it.

Atmosphere was low. Because it was lunchtime. And midweek and close of season.

Upon recieving our food, our chips were cold and then opened our drink lid, which I tend to do all fast food restaurants, only to find a bug in it the entire time! It completely put me off my food and drink. I told staff, just got a shoulder shrugged and no offers for a drink replacement or refund! Very upset. KFC you’ve let me down.

Went here out if desperation as everywhere else was closed. Food was cold and portion size ridiculously small.

Chips undercooked. If the chicken was any 'Greasier' John Travolta and Olivia Newton John would be in it! Not at all impressed.

We were waiting almost a whole hour for our order. We initially waited 30min before asking where our order was, she then said nothing and went to the back. Then after 5 minutes she came back and said that our order was deleted and that someone was making an order in the back. Finally, 10 minutes after we got our order however 6 fries and chicken popcorn was missing. We told her, and she said it won’t be a minute and then processed to wait 15minutes until we asked again. After a couple minutes we finally got our missing items. There was no apology given and I knew that there was other people waiting similar times to us. It was literally a disaster, some people couldn’t get their receipts from the kiosk, there was no mash or gravy, and staff were being very rude. Never go here!

Slow service. No Atmosphere. I was going to comment on the food, but calling it food would mean telling porkies. The Colonel would turn in his grave., rather than eat here. His special recipe coating fell off the chicken, actually I think it was trying to commit suicide. I think I might know what part of the secret ingredient is. Cherry Blossom boot polish, judging by the colour. The fries had definitely been fried, I just am not sure I could name which century. Maybe I will try Antiques Roadshow for an estimate. Just to say, however, I had a fabulous meal. Waste not, want not. I ate the serviettes.

Went about 5.30 expected it to be busy but 40 minute wait for food was taking it a bit to far. The chicken pieces were so overcooked they were nearly black and the chips so salty I had to get an extra drink

Coke watery and no fizz. Complained and was told machine was not working correctly. I asked why they were still using it , no answer. They did exchange drinks but only for still drinks. Chicken 🐔 was usual KFC quality.

Politely requested some tap water for our dogs, having just spent £35, told we couldn't have tap water would need to buy a bottle. Rude attitude from member of staff won't use a KFC again

Fries were disgusting and yes I think forgot to serve me the whole serving . Definitely been to countless kfc’s .. the fries quantity does not add up . Pathetic

9.25 on a Sunday night and they are virtually sold out of everything to eat. Incompetent ordering comes into mind, knowing that is was PRIDE weekend. I will NEVER use this one EVER again.

We went there to have FAST food, but it wasn't so fast. We've been waiting over an hour for food, and when finally had it, there were missing items from the order. I get it it was lunchtime when we were there, but this place can't coope with lots of orders. They weren't prepared for so many people, but they should - it's FAST food.

Just had an order delivered. horrible nasty cold extremely greasy and massively over priced for the absolute awful quality of the food. this store should be shut down we live here and used to order often but never and never will we use skegness KFC again.and that's the advice we.will.pass on to holiday makers absolutely disgusted

Absolutely vile customer service. Went in for something nice and easy while on holiday and was ignored (we didn't see the sign saying order at kiosks because it was to the side) then after we ordered a friend of Faith came in and she served them instantly with a lovely smile. After chatting to other customers while they were waiting the agreed the customer service was absolutely abysmal. We got greeted with a "yeah" when we paid for out food.

Drive through Party bucket. 6 Fries, Popcorn chicken, 8 hot wings all missing when got back to Chapel st. Leonards. Extra mash? Refused dip at collection window, told to drive round and order again. Avoid!

Used the drive through on Tuesday.Ordered food at the 1st Window..proceeded to wait at second window..the order was a regular Popcorn Chicken for our Son,who is Autistic and we were leaving Skegness to return home. Car in front was waiting at Window 2..another Irrate customer waiting at tge window whilst on foot.Who had to retirn his order 3 times whilst we were waiting. Well 35 mins later we were still waiting for our order..no apologies from anyone at KFC at all..could not get out of the driveway as car in front was next to be served. By this time my Son was having a meltdown and we just wanted to leave. I got out of my Car went to.the Wimdow and asked for the Manager.Who I was told was at the back of the Shop doing "Something Admin Based" I told person at window to get the Manager and get an update and come Manage the problem. Then a woman came to the window who claimed to be a Manager..she was so rude and not even apologised for the extended delay.. I did tell her to do something and manage the problem,which am sure she would of known what was going on. She had now customers in carpark as well who had been waiting..another big lad was delivering orders to customers who were stating the orders were wrong for whatever reasons...this Manager was not helpful at all..she should of come out and helped but she was the worse case I have ever encountered..I explained that all I had ordered was popcorn chicken and if one has a child who is autistic and has meltdowns one would understand...it upset my Wife as well who was really sad by the service like I was.. By a sub standard service by an Extremely Sub Standard Employee who did not represent professionalism

Food took for ever 7 chips in a bag

Sunday 18th Aug Absolutely shocked by the service tonight. Myself and dozens of other customer left waiting 35 mins plus for orders placed at the self service. And then many of them to only find out food was missing. What was even worse was the 5 people at the checkout waiting to order and pay by cash. Only to be totally ignored. When I defended them asking why you haven't taken there order. The staff said we haven't got time. Yet spent 10 minutes arguing stating the reasons why they can't be served is it would take to long. Yet that 10 minutes arguing would have cleared the orders. The staff are totally the wrong type of people to work in that environment. No people skills and totally out there depth. Also rude and unhelpful. If that was my own businesses, id definitely would deal with this branch. My partner who has a youtube channel with 36k followers will be posting a review of this branch if there is no follow up to this review by the owner.

Jesus. Best microwaved meal ive had in 3 hours. Good job i love my lettuce soggy and brown and drooping down the side of stale bread. I would feel guilty to give it to a homeless person. I can only apologise to Mr Sanders. Cheers skeggy kfc

Scamming customers by only giving them half of what they ordered. I received my drink filled only 2 inches from the top of the cup. When I complained how empty it was, the staff on the counter replied they’re told to do this. Compare this photo to what KFC advertise!

Hard to pick what was worse......restaurant filthy, food cold and stale, also the order was wrong, staff rude and uninterested when asked to put right......definitely one to avoid, buy food from one of the local food places

2 staff members serving at 10pm. Restaurant busy. Constantly arguing with customers when they confrunted staff about missing ordered items. I myself fell victim to this and the lady serving smirked at me and told me my bbq wrap was a twister. She snatched the reciept from my hands and wouldnt give it back. After arguing that i should have had 2 wraps, it took her colleague to tell her she was wrong before bringing us the correct item. Very rude staff. Unprofessional. Took 30 minuets for food to be ready and even then it was wrong. Kfc head office - this branch clearly needs retraining and staff. Quit being tight with the millions you make and hire more staff to take the burden off those already underpaid and overworked.

Arrived at the drive-through window at 1038pm with their closing time at 11 pm and got turned away. I said to the staff member that they don't close until 11 pm and simply had the window shut on me with no excuse. As a festival catering company CEO myself I hope this doesn't happen again. I would also like to add turning off the automatic doors at the front entrance and making paying customers leave through a fire exit shouldn't be on. If working in a busy fast food environment isn't for the staff members maybe they are in the wrong job and I wouldn't like a successful business to fail due to incompetent staff. My pregnant partner went inside to use the toliet while I was trying to pick up food round the drive though, she went to the toliets which where in horrific condition to find no toliet roll in the female and male toliet she approached a staff member to report this issue to find a cocky lady staff member who approached my pregnant wife and said can you move I need to get in there. There's still people waiting at 11:05pm for there order and people dieing in. This is not on

Half an hour wait to get our drive through order. Good luck if you're hungry

Went through the drive thru and ordered a 10 pc variety bucket and the woman in the window said there's a 30 minute wait on boned chicken' How does a chicken 'fast' food restaurant have a 30 minute wait on boned chicken absolutely vile won't be going there again

Don’t go through drive thru as they clearly don’t know how to serve you just leave you waiting for over 10 mins, you can also hear the staff members talking utter crap through the speakers while they ask you to wait, bit diabolical really, no professionalism from the staff members at all.

Good food drive through clear could do with better and more fries

I went went it was busy so ended up in the drive through. It's tight to get around with a big car, my sensors just beeped constantly. There's no one actually at the order booth, it's all remote. They also missed part of our order, the only drinks without aspartame they had were unavailable. I shouldn't need to explain my medical conditions to someone at a fast food joint to get a refund on a drink that will make me unwell.

Terrible service, the worst and slowest service of any fast food place I have ever been to. Don't even bother standing at the ordering part because they just ignore you. Rude staff. Layla was especially rude and obnoxious to deal with Also missed items from our order

Excellent and friendly customer service but two nice ladies in the front. They were patient enough to listen what I wanted and explained me my options. Food was fresh and hot, prepared instantly.

Just got served by a miserable girl at the drive through (27/05/24 @ 8pm) who clearly couldn’t cope with having to speak through the headset and serve people at her window. After rudely shoving my food in my face while speaking to the next customer through her headset and not a word to me, I told her she was rude for her to reply “ok!” And close the window 😂 terrible service! (and she didn’t give me a straw for my drink to top the experience off!)

Absolutely shocking , the staff are so rude !!! They said they would not be taking our order till they had no orders left on their screen and was waiting for our food for over an hour I will never ever be coming back to this kfc I would avoid at allll costs !!!

Well after 22 minutes waiting for our order we gave up, not what I would call 'fast food'. Uber eat orders and drive thro' getting served but massive queue inside and no orders coming out! An absolute joke of a place, needs some serious training putting in place, the staff were clueless, unhelpful. The eat in area was unclean, food on floor, dirty tables. Glad we asked for refund think we had a lucky escape, never ever again!

Very clean and tidy place plenty of window seats..good organisation from the staff...very helpful in telling you their deals and offers that they have at k.f.c....

Had food from here while on holiday. 2 nights ago. Had to wait 25 mins for it to be cooked. We ended up in hospital with food poisening for 12 hours. Only one who hasn't got it is my 3 year old that had a McDonald's instead... Will be staying away from here in future.

Was about 21:50pm nothing going on the tables were sticky ordered a zinger meal and sweet chillie chixken and Oreo crushem. My friends had finished there order before I even got my food plus they didn't have no hot wings for my meal so it wasn't even a full meal will only get refunded a pound. The food was cold and disappointing. Worst KFC I've ever had.
