KFC Salford - Rossal Way in Salford

I've been to this place a lot. This how KFC should be, always fresh and juicy. Staff are lovely and polite despite working in Salford. This is one of the good ones.

There were no chips and the food was stale and at the very most lukewarm, if not cold. The gravy was like jelly. Honestly the worst kfc I have ever had. The staff were apologetic for the wait for the food and not having any chips.

The service provided by the team was great. They were friendly, the service was fast. I was able to get everything I wanted. The restaurant was also nice and clean.

Ordered 12 piece boneless box, recieved an 8 piece instead. Ripped off by £5. Do not buy food from this outlet, the staff can clearly not count to 12 which is worrying when they are dealing with food products .

We love KFC as a treat , but make sure you check your order before you leave We ended up with no coleslaw , but 4 gravy To be fair when I emailed customer services they did give me a £6 voucher But still disappointed to have no coleslaw when we got home

Just ordered the 8pc boneless banquet and was so disappointed, the chips were just emptied in a paper bag and we never received the drink. The only thing that saved the meal was the gravy

I got a home delivery and the chicken was disgusting it was as though it had been warmed a few times. Threw it all away never going to salford branch again everything was cold.

I phone over 10 times and no answer I can’t order my food because there’s no option for plain or remove sauce as I’m allergic to mayo someone should be there to answer the phone when customers ring disappointed

Oh my God, these fried fillets are so salty, I can’t believe it! They’re horrible and disgusting. What on earth did you send us? I can’t even describe how salty these chicken fillets are. I’m truly disappointed with the management of this KFC branch. I threw the food straight in the trash—it was garbage and way too salty!

Place 3 separate orders and unfortunately all were missing items.

I visited KFC recently, and while the food was great as always, the service was unfortunately disappointing on the drive thru.The staff member taking my order was quite rude. I had to shout my order because she claimed she couldn't hear me, and when I asked if their system was broken, she dismissed my concerns, saying it wasn't her problem. It's frustrating to receive such poor service, especially when the food is consistently good. I hope they can improve their customer service in the future.

I have had to re-review this outlet after my original average review of two years ago. Since the refurbishment and new team all the negatives have been addressed. The staff are always polite and waiting times are now in line with other KFC franchises. This has been complemented by the high food quality. Today I was served by violeta and Maisie and they were excellent all round. Every time I come here the service is spot on. Thank you to the whole staff and management for the positive changes.

Staff can be rude talking in groups in the kitchen about personal life and what they Are doing . .. Restaurant is dirty.... Tables not cleaned ... floors not swept And they can get order wrong even though printed on screen

Didn't get my drink and lettuce in rice box was different (ice berg) and red beans were missing.

The food wasn't bad but they forgot and messed up half the order. We had to go back, but the staff responded appropriately and corrected the order.

Awful place, was served raw chicken in my rice box. Staff throwing rude looks at me and rushing me to leave even though it was still way off closing time. Definitely avoid there are nicer kfc’s in the area.

First time here in a year. Stopped coming as they are unbelievably slow. Been stuck in the drive thru over 20 mins now and not moved for at least 10 mins. 3 cars in front of me as well. I cannot believe how hard this lot make ‘fast food’. £22 for 2 meals as well so not cheap. I won’t be back again.

Staff and food are fine, but out of office hours, place turns into a youth club with no adult supervision. Plenty of tables, but does that mean staff don't need to clean them?

Wow. It's rare I've entered a fast food joint so filthy! Greasy scraps on furniture, litter all over the floor. Ordered food and collected a table number in the mistaken belief that this may lead to table service. No, the staff here have learned that glaring over the counter and aggressively yelling the order number will eventually cause starving clientele to collect their own food. The only good thing was the food was super hot and portion size reasonable. Can see why folks are getting deliveries or drive through from here. Recommended if you enjoy consuming your food in a rubbish skip like environment.

If I could I would give this KFC 0 starts as I went today at 21.25pm and got told "we don't have any more chicken"......ARE YOU FOR REAL!!!!????? you are a chicken fast food company that has no chicken!?!?! Never again.....

This is the second time I have ordered from this KFC and there has been items missing from my order. There is no way to call the store as they do not answer their phone and I have to get an Uber to go there to get what is missing from my order. What is so hard about double checking your order that are being delivered. On this order I am missing four fries and a mash potato. This is ridiculous.

Waited for 30 mins in the drive Through. I was at the order point 15 mins and had to eventually knock on the glass before anyone answered intercom to take my order. The manager Atique said he'd only been there 2 wks. I said I've been 3 times to drive through and had to wait 25-30mins each time. I said I wanted to put in a complaint as service wait was shocking and poor. He said he'd worked at KFC 15 Yr and that he doesn't care if I complain, he doesn't want me as a customer again and that he will come to my store and see me there. I said is that threat? He said I'll see you there. I said your customer service skills as a manager are poor telling a customer who's waited 30 min that you don't want them to come sgain as customer just because they had a complaint to raise. Atique was rude, threatening and blamed the customer for making a complaint. He needs to be re-trained as a manager and learn customer service skills urgently as they are shocking.

So far this is the worst KFC we have ever been too, lazy staff in the kitchen! Food was awful, complained to KFC and even they were bad in their responses, so happy there are so many other better chicken shops available, never again!

Chips are always soft. You can know what the previous customer ordered from the desks and chairs. Bin is always full. I won't blame the staff there, they are very hardworking and competent. It would be better if there are one more staff for cleaning.

Fast food this is not. Unless your an uber driver don't bother going waited over 30 min for the chicken wings I ordered with meal and ended up leaving with out them as all I kept getting told was 5 more minutes as evertime some came out they went to an uber order. No apologies, no refund. Very bad experience will stick to Trafford Centre in future

One of the worst experiences I have ever had with KFC. Food is highly salted and not suitable for eating, and freshness of the chicken god knows when was it cut and prepared.

This KFC never fails to disapoint. I've visited this restaurant 3 or 4 times in the last 5 years, usually when i'm coming back from work late, dont have time to cook at home, and always when I've forgotten how awful it was the previous time. Every single time I've visited this branch, tables are littered with old meals, dirty trays, food crumbs, serviettes all over the floor. It genuinely seems the service staff and the management just don't want their customers to dine in a clean restaurant. Last time I visited, every single table was dirty, smeared in old food and staff stood around servicing drive through orders whilst the restaurant was littered with rubbish and filthy. When I asked why it was so dirty, I was met with a shrug of the shoulders and a dismissive smirk. This brand has fallen so far from the nice and professional place it used to be in the last 90s and early 2000s. I can only imagine the health and safety horrors that lurk behind the counters in the kitchen. Head office need to shut this branch down, it really is an awful place run by dirty staff who care nothing for their customers or even the most basic food hygiene.

Fresh and not as greasy as others ones

The attitude of the girls that work here is appalling. Constantly looking at my family with dirty looks. The music in the restaurant was far too loud. I am unable to have a chat with my partner without having to shout above the music. The staff are acting like it's a social event in a nightclub. They refused table service even though we clearly gave a table number, but they're far too arrogant to actually take food to a paying customers' table. Also noticed them being arrogant with other customers and shouting at them to get their food, even though they clearly had a table service "Bucket Beacon" at the table. My partner is heavily pregnant so the table service would have been useful for us, and as one of the staff members was also pregnant. You'd expect her to understand..

Terrible service, man named David (apparently his name). Left me after asking me for my order and then just ignored me for 5mins and then came back on microphone asked me what I want to order, he was so rude left me with my window open while it’s was raining ! Then another girl came on & when asked what that man’s name was who has ignored me for 10mins now and was very rude she asked WHY ? took ages to get through then save at the till couldn’t even look at me, my food was sat waiting ages & was freezing & went in the bin !!! All together pointless !! Will not be back ! Sort your staff out !!! And get your manager to actually manage, may I always add I asked for manger to meet me at the paying station & they were nowhere to be seen !!!

I understand it's a busy place and maybe they were short staffed but someone needs to keep the tables cleaned....

Food has mostly been good here. On the odd occasion via drive through, we have had missing items once we have driven around and come in to the store to inform them, they have replaced with no problems. The queue for drive through is normally quite long but I know they do work as fast as they can and are generally quite friendly. I wouldn't advise to dine in as the tables and chairs are normally really dirty where people have left food and rubbish everywhere with no respect for the establishment. The toilets are always unclean also with wet flooring and toilet roll thrown about. It's a shame that they don't have someone on floor duty and bathroom duty at all times considering how busy this KFC gets and customers leave tables all cluttered and dirty.

My forgetful son left his bag behind so I rang up they found it kept it safe till I went back to pick it up so that was nice. The food was yummy 😋 the area inside was packed noisy and nowhere had been cleaned up even the toilets were manky.

Quality of meals pretty poor, not a first KFC with really bad and not tasty meals with long wait. That mean that no one cares about staff and salary.

Service is shocking!!! Every time I've been its been like a 30 minute wait!! This is not fast food!! Wouldn't mind chickens already cooked so why the hell is it taking so long!!

Despite the fact that the restaurant was packed when I walked in about 30 minutes ago, about 1 minute later the lady behind the counter was already taking my order and about 3 minutes after that I was already eating my food, bear in mind it was one big bucket. My food was delicious, crispy and hot. The staff in that place really work some magic. Thank you guys.

After giving my order I was 4th in line at the drive through still took 25 minutes to get our 6 piece family feast and it was the worst meal we have had from any takeaway chicken was tasteless and chips tasted like the oil in the fryer hadn’t been changed for a while 😡

There's usually an issue when I visit here, from getting really dried chicken, forgotten items in order, or having to wait 30 mins for my order and not being advised of this and having complained on several occasions, I've decided not to go back.
