KFC Belfast - Ballyhackmore in Belfast

Omg! The staff seem unable to get even simple orders correct. There is always something missing or wrong. I’ve given up on returning to the restaurant to pick up missing items. As for the food, Grease running of the chicken. Chips a soggy mess! Only my children enjoy it I would never order from here. This far you owe me 2 large fries, 3 tubs of gravy and a 3 mini fillets. 🤦‍♀️

Girl on the phone/till is a real pain. Was sent the wrong order on just eat so decided to phone up, the girl accused me of scamming, I phoned again with my mum on the phone to prove that I am genuine, she went silent. Eventually after numerous calls she blocked my number. Went there in person, met the girl on the phone, she stated that there was rude remarks and laughing on the phone to her (I was in a silent living room with my mum), complete utter lies. She hid behind rules and regulations so now I’m stuck with a deficit of £30. Girl on the phone is a real pain.

I walked up to the counter and was waiting for a staff member to serve me BUT TO MY SURPRISE I HAD WAITED THERE FOR 15 MINUTES AND NO ONE HAD ACKNOWLEDGED ME THIS MY JUST BE THE WORST STAFF EVER I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK

Worse service order wrong charged to much food cold staff don't care never be back

incorrect order received. When I tried to ask for my missing drink it took a ridiculous amount of time to even get someone’s attention and then even more time to be given my drink by which time my friends had finished their food and my food was cold. The place was filthy with chicken bones lying on the seats and food on the floor. Will never be back. STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!!!

Decent service, good was reasonable, prices are still to high.

Went for a drive thru and sat at the microphone ready to order for 4 minutes with no acknowledgement that I was there. It's not the first time this has happened either, a simple hello we are working through orders and will be with you soon would be the way to go. Was about to drive off when finally got some service which wasn't worth the wait, attitude and snappy. Finally got to the collection window and they were training a new start who was being talked through everything, which is perfectly fine, just felt sorry he was being trained by the tattoo clad lady with the attitude. Service has really dropped over the last year would probably go to a different branch from now on. Also toilets are always disgusting probably from the army of school kids that are always in it around 3pm, have tried on several occasions to take my daughter in and usually covered in urine and no toliet paper.

Worst kfc I've ever been to. Went here with friends, got all 3 of our orders wrong. Gave us too many drinks which still had syrup at the bottom, it wasn't mixed. Chicken was alright, skin was far too greasy to the point it just was a chore to finish. Not going back

This could be the worse restaurant in belfast. I ordered in for takeaway and stood their for 20 minutes with only 2 people in front of me. The people behind the counter were confused. 50% of my order was in a takeaway sack, the other 50 on a eat-in tray. It sat like that for 15 minutes. They call my number and only half was in the bag. I had to tell them what was missing. The food portions were horrible. Buffalo chicken not even covered in the sauce. The chips were the worst I've ever had. There was a bone in my chicken wrap. Couldn't pay me to go back there.

Sweet Chilli Dipped Bites - £3.99 - Missing Boneless Banquet - £11.99 - Not worth the money Club Orange Can - £1.99 - Missing Flamin' Mini Wrap - £3.99 - Mid Regular Creamy Mash - £2.99 - Literally just microwave mash you can get from Tescos.

Not acknowledged at all by any staff when I came knocking. Wanted to order at the counter but no one asked me if I needed help. Got order wrong and it was cold. Hot wings look like they’d been lifted From the ashes of a fire, tiny and dried up. For £80 I’d expect a lot more. Won’t go back ever again. The ‘person’ at the till was Called ‘sky’ rude and ignorant. I don’t care who’s who manners are free.

We got 20 wings that were dry and old. They must have been lying around for a long time.

Service was absolutely atrocious waited 30 minutes for a greasy, rancid box of chicken with 5 chips . The place was so bad there was people lining up to complain.

Absolutely terrible paid 8.99 for a burger meal and they got my order wrong I tried to get a another burger but they said no so I tried to get a refund but again they said no I wouldn’t recommend this to someone!

They owe me £47.00 as I ordered via just-eat from their shop and left a note for the delivery to b delivered after 21:00hrs..! It arrived at around 19:00hrs and the delivery driver took it away..! KFC says it’s nothing to do with them..! Terrible way to treat customers..! Stay well clear of this restaurant/takeaway..! Not nice..! Staff are a disgrace..! Very ignorant..! Do you people actually read your reviews on here..?? You are useless now get my money back via Just-eat or send me a number I can get them on cause I’m getting no response via hour head office..!! A vegetarian/vegan burger was on the menu but not available. The chicken piece in my bucket for one was 55% bone. Overall a very disappointing experience.

I just was to buy some food i m big fan of KFC order every week any time but today waiting i notice a costumer finding out indian workers or what they are doesn't wash hands when doing tasks from now on i stop to buy any food i don't think is safe by how manual and handling are done and hygiene i will not eat anymore in any KFC they they don't show good hygiene

Terrible customer experience. I tried to pay via Contactless in the drive through this week. Tried three cards and the machine was declining instantly (it wasn’t even registering with my bank as I had no ‘declined’ messages). Was told the machine inside was working so I parked my car and went inside to pay. Once inside, the gentleman in front of me was experiencing the exact same issue with contactless. The card machines were down and instead of trying to rectify the situation eg restarting the card machines, the angry staff member was shouting ‘I can’t give you food for free!’ A ridiculous response instead of trying to find a solution. I left and went to Connswater branch which had much nicer staff and working card machines. I hope they lost a lot of business that day, dreadful restaurant and I will not be back. This is just one of the awful experiences I could share about this branch eg one night my husband was stuck in the drive through for over 30 mins as they had ran out of chicken…

Would not recommend here, the person managing the place spent more time yelling at her team than dealing with the growing line of customers with wrong orders. We'd to wait nearly 20 minutes to collect our order, it was then incomplete and cold. Head to Conswater its quicker and the staff are friendly.

Quite busy at time of purchase so there was about a 20-minute wait. The food was nice when I got it.

Service was slow and hot wings were still pink. Then came a group of underage youths with cases of beer and vapes who the staff just ignored. No interest in maintaining a decent dine in space for paying customers.

Is this popcorn chicken from last week, or just yesterday?

First of all, store packed with deliveroo drivers. Secondly, the seated area was freezing as the door didn't close properly!! Finally what broke the straw on the camel's back...after we waited for ages to get served, we were told that they didn't do boned chicken until after 9pm!!! Totally rediculous, my grandson was very disappointed. We will NOT return.

Just keep driving, spent 30 minutes waiting for alleged fast food they then gave it to us on a tray to eat in when I could see the screen saying it was for takeaway all of which meant half the dinner was cold when I got home

Usually I'd not give any of these a one star review but in the last dozen times I've been here there has been numerous problems. Card machine not working, but you don't find out till you have been sitting in line for twenty minutes On a half dozen occasions part of our order has been missing Drinks machine broken Slow to respond on drive through When waiting just eat collections always have priority Won't be using this KFC again.

Mismanaged dump, with greasy chicken the skin falls off. Just go connswater.

Avoid at all costs. They almost always get your order wrong. Tonight I ordered a Trilogy box and another box for collection, but they sent me the wrong burger, forgot the popcorn chicken and didn't send sauces with either meal. To top it off, I had a lot of long black hairs wrapped around the chicken. Used to be great, but absolutely not worth it anymore.

They are great when u go through the drive through and going to the counter but there is one problem with there delivery service when u order through just eat the delivery driver says he delivered your food to when u didn't get anything he probably keep it and eit it himself or give it to his family

This is the last time Im ordering from this kfc, I spent 10 minutes explaining that I dont want lettuce on my burger, and somehow I got it? And I didnt receive my 2 hot wings? This place is disgusting when it comes to modifying your order.

Here for the first time & its slow but after paying for the order then they tell ya it would be half hour wait on chicken & not even an apologise after finally getting my meal. Poor service!

Not a normal review of food but staff experience , was waiting on food and guy behind counter handed over orders to a girl , she said to him do I have to do all orders , he said yes and she started throwing a strop slamming trays , doors and throwing burgers down onto trays , she was irate but this was seen by all customers , surely that's her job to serve food and that's why she works there , serious attitude issues , a young boy then came in maybe about 5 years of age very pleasant and quiet , the girl behind the counter then was quite abrupt with the little boy , not a pleasant person and myself being a manager felt like addressing her attitude ...my kids didn't need to see this experience

As you would expect from KFC. Clean and functional. Food was quick and service was good however a drink was missing and the fries were all the same size. The server was very helpful and resolved the issue well. All in all a good experience

I entered the drive thru and the chap who took my order seemed confused so I asked him to repeat it and as he got it right I was confident in getting the correct food. Although there were only 2 cars in front of me it took almost 10 minutes to get to the window and when I got there the young lady was talking to someone in the drive thru while my food sat beside her .After a couple of minutes she opened the window and I suggested that it might have been an idea to pause the conversation and serve food. She became very nasty and and made the comment "You don't know what it's like working here" When I asked to speak to the manager she said it was her and slammed the window shut. I only wish I had read last few reviews before going but if any management read this I fear for KFC if this is the calibre of managers they employ Food order was totally wrong and cold Will NEVER EVER be back

How they manage to mess up orders and be so awful every time is beyond me. More fool me for going back near the place.

I love KFC ! They hit a low, years ago, back in the day, it was a 'flavour Sensation', then it went 'bland' They seem to be coming back....... However, last night, just back from holiday, order placed, saw staff member go to his car, appears at pay window, ' it'll be 15 mins... blah blah ......' Ah? That's Not fast food ! Get back to 'the herbs & Spices, & The way its cooked' ! Also, what's with the 'crunch' in the adverts ? Result, for Ballyhackamore, didn't Dine in, Didn't Take out! Had to go on out to Newtownards!!

It’s not great when you have to wait for chicken to be cooked. Not great for a drive through when you have to park and wait for your fast food order. Lots of cars waiting for a long time.

I never leave reviews but just so cross . Spent 30 minutes in drive through only 3 cars in front of me... watched over 10 delivery people go in and out in seconds..... Asked what was the problem. As no acknowledged of the wait was offered when I got to the window. I was literally barked at by the lady. Who shouted the must patronising apologisey at me saying how short staff she was as if it was my fault. But not short staffed f ur a delivery driver it seems. She all but through the food at me. Then handed me my drink in silence with a glare. Got home to find lid of beans off and all over everything... Just note if ur going for drive through you appear to wait behind EVERY delivery order.

To be fair, I'm probably not a huge fan of KFC, and have on other occasions, been disappointed, especially with the cleanliness. But not today. The premises were presented impeccably, the food was hot and tasty, the order was dealt with promptly and without errors. The server also did everything with a big smile on her face. A very good experience indeed. Well done Team KFC Ballyhackamore!

You never ever get what you order like your side dips/sauces.

Decided to go here as we haven't had a KFC in a while. But on placing my order the guy behind the counter says it'll be about 7 minutes for my boneless chicken. I said it was OK but there was 3 guys for just eat or uber eats and they stood at the counter and no one could get near the counter to collect there order. After 12 minutes my order was ready but when I got home to eat it the only thing that was warm was the boneless chicken, chips cold and not a lot off them either. Drinks where tasteless. This is one place I'll not be rushing back too in a hurry.

Ordered on app. Quick and easy to collect via drive through. Only 4 stars because last 2 visits they got the order slightly wrong and gave me a piece of chicken instead of 2 hot wings like I ordered.

Wrong order received after ordering through kfc app. Phoned restaurant about 20 times, no answer. Contacted Deliveroo who were useless. Contacted kfc care squad who just tell you to contact Deliveroo. Spent £25 to receive wrong food with no way to get it resolved. Was also meant to receive first bucket on us promo which wasn’t received. And to top it off we all had bad stomachs after eating some of what we did receive. Absolute shambles!

Drive through. Last night ordered family feast 2 large gravy and popcorn chicken. Opened it when partner got home. Inside was 4 tiny portions of fries 2 half pots gravy and 10 drumsticks I hate drumsticks. It went into to garden for the dogs. Never again AVOID.

Till and app was down. Could use student discount or app to get offers. Couldn't pay on card. Food was cold and was wrong.

Now this is both good and bad. The way this was resolved by the actual staff was good. I placed an app order and decided to have the food delivered as I was already comfortable and did not want to get dressed just to pick up the food. I never have ordered through for delivery and always pick up. It said 20 to 30 minutes. I waited, waited, waited and waited. I contacted the KFC Deliveroo line and was told that a driver was there. I argued that the food had been standing for over 40 minutes and then was told there was no driver at KFC. I cancelled the order and then decided to get dressed, jump in the car and go check on my order. I got to KFC to see if the order was cancelled. I was told that my order was picked up after 3 or more different persons came to collect with no ticket. The food was collected 20 minutes before I arrived there. I stay less than a 10 minute cycle from KFC so the food should have been there. The staff were apologetic and made up the order again for me. It was made fresh to go and very helpful. Don't order for delivery....rather pick up. Hard lesson learnt but now I know never to use Deliveroo again.

Fat manager Emma makes up her own rules to facilitate her laziness. The real reason she won’t serve you without a car after 10pm is because she already eat all the chicken the fat lazy whale.

Good chicken meal, hot wings were delicious

Food was hot unlike other KFC stores. Staff very attentive and nothing was too much effort for them.. real credit to the franchise owner
